I would advise taking It to meta board. Reputation is saturated with DT scum that will simply try to troll your legitmate concerns regarding jollygoods flagrant trust to hell.

Those same DT infest meta but are afraid to troll quite as much in there since the boss reads that more regularly.
I would note that jollygood abused a legend for giving their opinion and referenced that.

Also jollygoods other thread here in rep. If you study it you will find jollygood never tagged and even included those on his default trust includes that were offering help to the same scam jollygood busted to get them repatriated back on the forum and telling them to change names etc. Also mozprognoz was attempting to push them to use his pals escrow service.

Also suchmoon provided even more damning evidence for mozprognoz wanting to make money working with scams and still jollygood included them on their DT and didnt tag them.

Jollygood is not a real scam hunter. I suspect he uses that to gain trust but is willing to enable scammers at higher levels certainly turns a blind eye to them and includes them on DT.

He was asked before why no action when DT members are offering to work with scams he knows are scams ?
Why didnt he tag mozprognoz or even lauda for offering to help them get back on this board if they used their escrow?

Jollygood has a history of pushing double standards. Any excuse to place a tag on members unless its DT then he will included them on his DT list and never red tag them even if they seek to enable scams he claims to have busted before.

I see Jolly around who is active against scams but honestly speaking I have not reviewed the sent feedbacks yet. I have no interest to review the feedbacks too, in fact I do not see a point to review at all when an accusation comes from a user like you. When accusations start coming from you type users - it means a user is doing something good.

In the theater of corruption that has overtaken Bitcointalk, jollygood is a very minor cast member; nevertheless, blacklisting NPC trolls like him will send a strong message to keep the DT1 nepotist cult in check, if the administration has any interest left in stewarding this forum...

First step everyone should take is go to their profile, click trust, trust settings and put a tilde before name of jollygood and whoever he deems untrustworthy, should look like this.

As example Joksim might not belong to their group but still makes false accusations on convenience, if enough users distrust them there is a chance to settle things.

This would be wrong. I would suggest changing this perception. After the new trust system implemented by theymos there are no certain groups of DT1 (we all know it).

Today I am in DT1 (if I am not wrong), in the next month on the draw, I may not get picked then I am not longer a DT1 but my trust rating still counts. This is true for a regular member too. One good member is not on the DT list may have good possibility to be picked by one of the DT1 member and be picked on the next months DT1 draw.

My point is - everyone's participation is important except only DT1 that you are thinking.

Yes there is, sticking around and waking people up does way more than you'd believe, it's just a matter of time till there's more users on a side than in current DT, that's how the game changes. Maybe then forum will start doing something against scammers and we stop feeling we need superhero wannebes

Yes, I did not come to this forum because of trust rating. but I may have to go because of these false and irrational suspicious claims (this is not a definitive judgment, but I think).

My reputation was damaged by a false claim. I was humiliated as a result of something I had never done and approved. you all saw it. The moment you wrote this you destroyed every chance, assuming there was any, of theymos intervening in this, bringing in the financial aspect in a way that resembles at least bribery if not worse is the bulletproof way to make him ignore this. If indeed Theymos does something like this only because the forum "is losing money"  it will probably be in the same moment he lets ICO again advertise on the forum and introduces mandatory KYC.

Oh, and have fun deleting this, I'm pretty sure theymos is a fan of deleting opinions and he will rank your request higher in his to-do list the more you try to silence the ones that don't agree with you.

Unfortunately, I don't think there's much you can do. You can try to redeem yourself, but you (and many others) don't even think you did something wrong, so there's not much to redeem. You can keep petitioning to have JG excluded, and eventually you may be successful, but it's going to take a while. The number of Trust exclusions probably grows when there are more bad feedbacks, but the reality is that it's not going to happen instantly.

It's up to you if you leave this forum, but you probably didn't start here because of a Trust rating, so I don't think you should leave because of that either. I don't expect Admin to interfere, I've read the theory that the entire Trust system is just theymos' social experiment, and from what I've seen, theymos leaves it to the users. He doesn't want to be in charge.

Blacklisting lauda was one of the best decisions admin gave in years, you should have seen how much panic it caused among the DT1 cultists, they almost had a collective heart attack realizing that their fat salaries might be in danger soon , alas @theymos made a very elementary mistake, the blacklist was only for DT1, not for the whole DT (or perhaps he caved into peer pressure or was instructed to make it only a half measure by his boss, that's open to debate).

And you are right the whole DT needs a revamp, first of all a forum member shouldn't be penalized, coerced or outcast just for casting his vote, you cannot encourage people to vote and then try to invalidate them because they don't agree with the corrupt, hypocritical nature of DT1.

Picture this, most members in the Turkish local have wiped their trust lists because they are afraid of suchmoon, foxpup, etc. excluding them, marlboroza writing "ban requests" against them, jolly ninja leaving red trust against them, and LoyceV sneakily social engineering to invalidate them from the forum... This resembles more slavery in ancient Rome than a "decentralized democracy".

That's exactly where we differ. I'm not interested in relying on central authorities to remove "bad apples" from a system (a blacklist request), I'm more interested in changes in a system that in itself reduces bad actors from emerging, and/or more effectively counter them. Otherwise similar situations occur over and over again. Blacklisting isn't a solution, Lauda already proved that by gaining DT2 inclusion with negative DT1 strength (a feline loophole). I realise you are also suggesting a "revamp" of the DT system, but within your post your only suggestion is blacklisting. This is why I said the topic is utterly pointless, it's redundant of any useful proposal. I hope that's the on-topic constructive criticism you were looking for anyway.


I also thought you were better off with the "moral highground" of leaving neutral feedback for the past 6 months, whether that was working or not, but that's up to you. You could of altenativey left neutral feedback highlighting the fact that JollyGood is somewhat indiscriminately tagging users who endorsed your services, but you didn't either.
