blockchain.info appears to not allow wallet logins at this time.  I've tried from a couple different browsers and the iOS app.  After clicking the "login now" button, it grinds away for a bit before returning to the originating page.  Clearing the browser cache makes no difference.

The site looks to be partially down. At the bottom you can see this:

I first noticed something was wrong because my client knew about 2 blocks that blockchain.info didn't...

The charts normally can be accessed using "&format=json" to get the raw data.

Currently that causes a warning to be displayed "Unknown Exception".

For example:

But the chart works:

The escrow function seems to be gone. Will it return? https://blockchain.info/wallet/escrow

The escrow feature was removed because not enough people were using it. I think maybe it was just too confusing/not well documented enough.

Is escrow coming back? It's a really important feature of Bitcoin, I'm sorry it was removed from My Wallet just because of user complexity.
We actually really need it.

Not enough people were using it probably because it was new. But Bitcoin is moving along and those who have learned how to use it are now teaching others. Removing this critical functionality for babysitting purposes is really not that helpful in stimulating Bitcoin adoption.

Is this issue of Escrow going to be revisited? I think it is extremely important for Blockchain.info to have this feature and I am being increasingly asked about this by individuals I am introducing Bitcoin to.

And they need an easy interface to use and the other clients are not nearly as easy as Blockchain.info. Teaching them how to use other clients is not any fun.

Some suggestions:

In the Send Money menu, any field where an amount of bitcoins can be entered, please make these fields bigger so we can see at least 13 digits. Right now it's really annoying how I can only see around 3 or 4 while my amount is typically accurate down to a satoshi which means at least 9 digits..

Also when sending anonymous please give us the option to specify from which addresses we want to send the coins like we can under "Custom", and change it in both places to give us an option to select which address to spend from first if the amount is less than what the multiple selected addresses contain. (oh and show a tip that one can select more addresses by holding down ctrl)

One more is for Import/export, where you can click paper wallet and it displays the paper wallet for all your addresses and their private keys.. a warning would be nice that it's about to do that.

And one final suggestion: for entering the second password when it opens up the keyboard, wouldn't it make sense to disable the ability to just type the password and also always display the keys at random so a mouse or keyboard tracking malware can't get the password?

i also mined two p2pool blocks, that said deepbit =p

If I use import wallet of an old backup, does that create a new wallet identifier, or does load into the existing one?

Or, more specificaly, let's say a couple days ago I had changed my password.  The backup is from several months ago.  So right now I can't login.

Can I import the several month's old Blockchain.info/wallet backup file and then from that get access to the Admin page to see the recent backups so that I can choose to restore the last backup before I changed the password?

A friend of mine recently got a notification that money was moved from his wallet.
After a short investigation, it seems that the money that actually moved was money from my own wallet, that was originally used to fund his wallet.

Is it possible there is a new bug in the "wallet watch" / notification mechanism?

I can send tx ids in a pm (please pm me, I don't follow this thread).

No Access logs are kept for visits to this website other than simple counters. We do not log any data relating to transactions made through My Wallet or bitcoin addresses used in My Wallet. Any email address, skype name or other personal data provided will not be shared with any other third party or advertisers.

So how come a third party had access to private information of a customer?

It wasn't. The "third party" in question was one of Blockchain.info's customer support staff, who used that info for personal reasons, and has since been fired from that position.
I would consider my IP at time of creation and last access being linked to my wallet as something more than just a "simple counter"

That sentence refers to access logs from regular pageviews to the site and queries to api. When a wallet is created and updated the ip address is recorded and this has always been stated on http://blockchain.info/privacy and https://blockchain.info/wallet/anonymity. I will changed it to keep the hashed ip/24 only.

Thank you! IP can still be verified, but this way it isn't plain text.

I appreciate your response yesterday and today in making your service better. I consider the minor incident that you had a hell of a lot better than the tradgedy that happened when MtGox's database was leaked with poorly hashed passwords and email addresses.
Thanks Piuk! Storing hashes is a great improvement.

If when doing Send transaction via Custom, if I choose to have change sent to a New Address, that works as expected however it creates a new address even if I am not going to end up having any change in the transaction (i.e., if I am spending the entire amount of the coin that I selected as an input).
