I have just verified that there is an issue with the counterparty wallet for message signing due to the bitcore js.

So until this is fixed you will need to sign outside using bitcoinqt or blockchain wallet

Cheers

I tried to sign a message with counterwallet, unfortunately it did not verify on blockscan. Just wanted to see if the above problem is still existent or if this has been already fixed.

I do not believe the signature signing issue has been fixed at counterwallet.co. I tried dropping them (XCP developers) a PM and also posted on the forums but have not heard back from them.

EDIT: Yup, just checked on my own, the issue has Not been fixed yet. It would help you can also contact them directly to see if they will address this issue

I am having signature problems with http://blockscan.com/assetInfo.aspx?q=SOYBEANS
Any idea how to start debugging this?

To go with http://www.gofundme.com/7ElementsSoy I want to sell 50,000 lbs of IA2053 food grade soybeans (tofu beans) for November/December delivery using counterparty, and let speculators take the risk on commodity price fluctuations.

But I have to be able to explain to people what that asset is, and the Counterwallet and blockscan seem like the most user-friendly interface I've seen so far. (for the record, it's also quite a bit better than the windows nonsense I have to use to hedge prices on the chicago board of trade)

Are you the asset owner "13JB28JQKtSp9J8uDtqyKEo8CR7mf6ykmn " and which client are you using for the signature signing? This has been tested with the QT official client

This is from the counterwallet 'sign message' box:
message to sign (no CR/LF, just one line):

I am the owner of 13JB28JQKtSp9J8uDtqyKEo8CR7mf6ykmn

signed message, base64:
MEQCIA3P8BtUVXFpbY/TOb3lJAiWtRf7zGE1JccfqGoJIdC3AiBtI5UJXmrb7r85WKC7zp4z50wf1r8f+mET82CMS2oYbg==

signed message, hex:

I am unable to verify the signed message above in bitcoinQT. If anyone else here has a copy of bitcoinQT running can you please check to see if you can verify the signature above?

I have sent Xnova a PM

Hi mtbitcoin!

It looks like Blockscan is no longer parsing blocks as of today June 9, 2014 at 10:20PM GMT?

Are you okay to check and let me know if this is the case? I'm not sure, but I've had 2 folks ask me today.

This has been resolved with the latest patches

Thanks

mtbitcoin, I want to report a bug:

http://www.blockscan.com/address.aspx?q=1QBYgXMTqEQNgoVotQN2iP1sPhHRPEoDHb
In this page, The system show "Issued 1000000000000000 BAAA"

But

http://www.blockscan.com/assetinfo.aspx?q=BAAA
In this page, The system show " Total Amount Issued:[Issue No.1 at Block#294884] 10000000"

1000000000000000  unequal to 10000000

Sorry! My English is poor!

Thank you for the reporting the issue. I have made the necessary adjustments to address the issue

mtbitcoin, can you add the ability to query a transaction by tx_hash?

Today I can do:
http://blockscan.com/tx.aspx?q=6928

I'd like to be able to also do:
http://blockscan.com/tx.aspx?q=8e52bf677080723cf3de5cfe926186497123e35fc7de82e9b61dfbb3970cef41

The problem with tx_index is that they can change between versions of counterparty (depending on the exact parsing rules). tx_hash does not have this side-effect, so it is the better absolute reference to use for transactions.

Once this is in blockscan, we can update our links to you guys in counterwallet (we link to you for transactions in address history, buy/sell, etc) Smiley

Sorry, missed this request.

All done. http://blockscan.com/tx.aspx?txhash=8e52bf677080723cf3de5cfe926186497123e35fc7de82e9b61dfbb3970cef41

Please pass the parameter string txhash. Blockscan will expect an exact match for the tx_hash

Cheers

Really useful site, nice job!

I want to report a possible bug in the API - unless I'm missing something.
It seems to return wrong balances (2x the actual balance, AFAICT)

Random example:

http://www.blockscan.com/address.aspx?q=1KjBcesaiiJyGpsG7RhtGChqNDaWhedfV6

(0.2 XCP)

vs

http://blockscan.com/api2.aspx?module=balance&address=1KjBcesaiiJyGpsG7RhtGChqNDaWhedfV6&asset

(0.4 XCP)

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have fixed the issue

Cheers

The "Last DEX Btcpay Price" currently shows the value of an order that expired. Wouldn't it make more sense to only show completed orders here?

Its an expired order but with partial successful btcpay matches. Based on what I am seeing the calculation should be correct.

I am picking up the last valid BTCPay transaction where BTC/XCP is traded.

If it is otherwise, do let me know

cheers

Ah, got you – that makes sense. I did not realize that the order got partially filled.

No problem.. These are my own calculations and there are multiple ways to interpret (calculate) this. Until an official api/calculation (which I am hoping will be available in counterwallet) is available I am sticking to this method of calculation
