are you going thru a hub? If so find a USB port directly on your tower that's not being used and give that a try
It should recognize a new device install a driver and be a fresh port

also post your command line

Yeah I'm going through a rosewell 10 port hub atm

Main problem is that once I launch the BAT file it say the program stopped working and I either have to debug the program or close it.

Try one stick in a USB2 slot on your pc and see if it works. NOT USB3

If yes then try one stick in the hub.

Are you using the 3.2.0 that you downloaded with the driver?

Using everything that came in the driver folder rar file. I mean, do I have to replace something in there that I'm not noticing? I've tried everything from BFGMiner 3.1 - 3.5.1 and it still closes itself once i try and launch it :-/

I've uninstalled the drivers recently and went back to the BFGMiner that came with the folder  cause I was trying to find out what was going on. And its still doing the same thing it was before even after a new fresh driver install and fresh edit of the BAT file. No clue why it's doing this to be honest ...

Yup - I did that exactly. Hasn't worked at all yet :-/

in your Devices and printers do you see

Yeah - thats how mine looks no yellow triangles on it. My main issue is that after I edit the BAT file and try to launch, BFGminer errors out saying "it has stopped working" and instantly closes down.

Anyone that *should* be over-clocking these, would have the knowledge to look at the board and see which resistors are 10k; However, with that being said there are two resistors on the board at 10k, R8 & R11 (R8 next to PRG button, R11 next to RST button), so I'm assuming by Beastlymac's statement that both 10k resistors would need to be swapped out to 22k, but would like confirmation that it would be both, if not both which, R8 or R11?

EDIT:
Also, you would be replacing it with a SMD 1206 22k ohm 1/8w resistor (Beastlymac, correct me if I'm wrong please), which seem to be pricey at DigiKey at the moment due to stock shortages it looks like. However Mouser does have a good amount in stock at the moment and are much cheaper than DigiKey.

Anyone who should be giving advice on how to modify this board should re-read the instructions:

It is possible to overclock the units and push them to potentially 2.7 by replacing the 22k resistor with a 10k one.

What did you do to get yours to work man? BFGminer isn't picking them up for me and I followed those direction to a T. Help a brothah out lol Tongue

1 ) Download Alpha Drivers Here : http://www.mediafire.com/download/819me4zvdju8lyg/bfgminerWin.zip

2 ) Extract and note where the bf1.ini is located in the folder.

3 ) Plug in your Blue Fury Miner and go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and printers

4 ) Right Click on the Bitfury BF1 Device go to Properties > Hardware > Properties > Change Settings > Driver > Update Driver

5 ) Select "Browse My computer for Driver Software"

6 ) Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"

7 ) Select "Have Disk", Browse to the bfgminerWin folder and Select bf1.ini

8 ) Select Install and it will give you a warning that the driver is NOT SIGNED. Press okay.

9 ) Now that the Driver is installed navigate to bfgminerWin > bfgminer32

10 ) Edit the #Mine.bat file in Notepad and change everything after "-O" to your own mining pool information and save.

11 ) Double click #Mine.bat and start mining Smiley

Anytime I try loading for the BAT File I immediately get a message saying BFGMiner has Stopped working, and then it closes down. Did everything the instructions for windows 7 said to, did everything the dude did in the video... yet, not a damn thing works :-/

What gives? Sad

Using BFGMiner on Win7 (64 bit) and I cant get these damn things to work or be recognized for the life of me.

Pushed the reset button. Restarted my PC. Tried every BFGMiner update from 3.1 - 3.5.1. Not a damn thing has changed. Tried M+ (no devices found).

So basically I just have nice expensive micro paperweights atm. Guess I'm gonna have to crawl back down to using my BE's again until I can figure out how the hell to get these BF's to work.

(and yes I unplugged the BE's before running the BF's)

If someone would be kind enough to post their command line for BFGMiner or something that would be great. I'm running / launching BFGminer primarily through a shortcut file with all the info needed in that line, not a BAT or CONF file. So yeah - would be nice if someone could post that stuff lol.

Been a pain in the ass scrolling through this thread trying to find something useful and coming up with nothing in the end lol

I am running 10 units on 2 Gearmo USB hubs (12V 3A @ 36 watts) on Win7 using cgminer 3.7.2.  They have been running for almost 24 hours with an avg of 2.07 Gh/s.  8 units are running above 2 Gh/s, but only 2 of these 8 units are running at or above 2.2 Gh/s.  And there are 2 units that are running at 1.9 Gh/s.  My best unit is running at an avg of 2.278 Gh/s.

These speeds are not really what I was expecting since the rated hash rate was advertised at 2.2 to 2.7 Gh/s.  I am really hoping there will be a firmware update released that will get these units closer to the advertised hash rates, at least closer to the 2.2 Gh/s.

Agreed, issue is replace both, or one, just wanted direction before playing with the board

I read that to be replacing the 22k resister with the 10k one.  Mine are due to arrive today so can't check myself.
