However, Binance coin arguably has potential to have cross this price for years and holders had been surprised, considering the token burning, successful IEOs even in the bear, launch of blockchain, adoption with many swap of blockchain, more DEX, CEX with the highest volume of trade in the space
BNB definitely has that potential to reach $1k. ETH high gas fee is kind of catalyst for BNB' bright future. Lot many new and existing projects are moving to bsc due to high eth gas fee. If market continues in positive direction, soon we will see desired price of BNB.
Everything is red at the moment but I am sure that BNB will bounce back. It's one of the coins I'm most confident in. Whether you like it or not, the fact is that Binance has positioned itself as a central player in the crypto world, and it has given massive utility to the BNB coin. It's not going away anytime soon, and it's definitely going to keep going up in value
Of course, if you look at what Binance is doing, take a look at their launchpad event, the total amount that got is incredible. This past few weeks 40% of my savings went to buy BNB when I hit $ 560, and now BNB is following the market movement. I mean is the red movement

The chance of falling for more is much anticipated, if the whole trend inside crypto market continue to fall and more sellers are inside than buyers who can hold and stay strong, Binance coin is not exempt so if you don't want to lose your money taking the long risk is better than trying to short and be left once the bounce happen.
Everything is possible in cryptocurrency. BNB will hopefully go to 1000$. But it will take some time.Their platform is very big so it doesn't matter if it goes for 1000$.. I am selling BNB for 40$.

I believe that one edge BNB has is the funding. They have continuously ongoing funding due to the exchange business. I am not sure how ETH developers are funded. Is that mostly donations from holders or is there a specific business model somewhere built in that funds development activities?

That's what I call a beautiful graph from an investor's point of view assuming you are sitting on a huge bag of BNB!
The growth is steady with minor bumps, doesn't look like an artificial pump. Instead it looks like a very healthy price increase.
Currently BNB is a strong currency. It is a binance supported currency. The BNB is now in the process of revision after running bulls for the last few days. If the current bullish trend in the crypto market continues, I believe BNB will soon surpass $1k and may exceed Ethereum in the future.

Well, for some time I am talking about how BNB is more suitable for everyday use! So about that BNB overtaking ETH I can only say it's possible from my point of view! BNB offers a lot more than Ethereum, for me, at the moment, and high ETH fees helping me a lot in making my decision about that!
What we can say about BNB price in general... a great uptrend that lasts for some time! And looks like it doesn't plan to stop with that rise anytime soon!
