OMG dude! You are owed some SERIOUS money... I really really hope we all get paid and this is just some anecdote to remember. You are completely right in the opting-in thing...

We'll see what happens in the next few days. Probably nothing says my negative/realistic self.

You're owed a fair share too

To be clear though, payments for those who chose the investment option from the time when it was first offered haven't been paid since July.

I didn't "choose" the investment option.  I was automatically opted-in while away on vacation.  By the time I caught up with the thread, it sounded like payments were going out that week.  Shortly after that Pirate (and subsequently Clipse) stopped paying.  I doubt I'm the only one this happened to.

Like I said, I understand the situation.  I still find it disheartening that Clipse committed to paying this week and hasn't.  I would not have kept mining for BonusPool if I didn't think he'd pay.

My biggest concern is that Clipse said he is going to fulfill contract, get paid in fiat currency, buy bitcoins and then pay us.

Now he said he is off and Jonathan (who is that? Clipse did not give us his contacts) will pay. And Clipse said nothing about contracts, did he fulfill them?

I still have hope of getting money, but this Jonathan story seems like a lie to me. Actually it is lie as we hadn't payment in Mon-Wed timespan as promised in the message.

I think Clipse once wrote that friend of his was working on the new site and adding some more stats and stuff. I assume this is our mysterious Jonathan who doesn't read the forums, doesn't know that we was supposed to pay the pending rewards to miners but is still moving coins around.

Let's take the tin foil hat off for a while. Clipse has been aroung for a long time. There must be several people who know him. I doubt that he has always hid his IP when using the forum. That service provider from UK is forced to reveal some information if criminal charges come into question. So running with only few thousand BTCs is stupid. But yes, possible. I'm still at denial phase so I believe we'll all get paid Cheesy

When he said a friend of his would take care of this process I thought two things: 1) How long does it actually take to make say..20 payments? Nothing, that's right, then why subcontract it?  and 2) This friend must obviously be a real life friend, not an internet one, because trusting him with all this money must mean he knows him really well.

It has no excuse what he's done to us and I hope he comes back to the forum after the 12/13 (but somehow I doubt it) to make things right.

Name/phone shouldn't be a problem because of that website. One service provider is from UK which helps a lot since some of the miners are from EU (if this goes forward and we are talking about fraud). I think it's fair to say that we are talking over 20k€ here. I wouldn't be surprised if it's lot more than that.

Jonathan probably stole all the coins and that's why we can not be paid.

I recommend taking a screenshot of all of your unpaid transactions just in case the site magically disappears. Does anyone have info on this Jonathan guy so we can get a hold of him? Or Clipse's name/phone number?

I really hope this is just a big misunderstanding between Jonathan and Clipse.
This.  Especially since Jonathan presumably has to have enough information to steal from Clipse in order to be able to pay miners.  If this is a misunderstanding, I hope Clipse comes home to the BTC to pay miners (a couple weeks late) as opposed to coming home to find himself scammed (because who would believe that).

We'll find out soon, considering it's already Thursday. I really hope the vacation until Oct 12-13 isn't a desperate hope that Pirate starts paying people back on the 12th, otherwise everyone can probably count their coins as gone.

Clipse hasn't been online since Sept. 29th so he might actually be on vacation/away from the computer at least. Why bother lying about some Jonathan keeping eye of the pool, making payments etc. if he's going to run. I really hope this is just a big misunderstanding between Jonathan and Clipse. On the other hand, pool is still operational and everyone can check that pool IP relaying transactions several times a day.

Clipse has the coins, that's for sure. He is just not paying. No excuse. Nice way to ruin a good business.

If he wanted to pay,
there would have been plenty of opportunities.

Typing this and opening the whole thread probably put me at the end of the line.

I hate that feeling. I would not expect that in this case.

I would avoid labeling him a scammer until his return from his ?holiday? at minimum.

I doubt he ever left. He's a thief or the most irresponsible person ever. You can post on the forum or even send btc from a cell phone these days.

Same here, but it's getting frustrating...

Sooo, no coins. Now we can start speculating.

Jonathan = this is how one gets a two week head start?
Maybe Jonathan just forgot he was supposed to make the payments?

I somehow still believe we are getting our coins. I guess this is the denial part of a scam victim. Yes I said it, scam.

Pool's IP address is still relaying transactions so why the hell can't we get our coins? Typing this and opening the whole thread probably put me at the end of the line.
