Estimated portfolio value is very fluctuating, but remember that your REAL portfolio value, if you sell ALL at the same time, you will get something like 60% of the Estemated portfolio values.
I Mean, If you have 10 Estimated, and you sell ALL, you will get 6 BTC (maybe less)
So is the market really bad this afternoon? If I sold all now, you're saying I might only have 0.6*1.86 = 1.11 BTC out of my starting 2.04 BTC ---- did I really lose almost 1 BTC in just a few hours running CAT?
No no no, it's not C.A.T. fault!
1 - Market Devaluation has nothing to do with C.A.T. (you can avoid only not to have Alternative CC, but if all Alternative CC starts growth and you have only BTC you will stay frozen to watch........)
2 - Estimated portfolio value is based on Last Trade.
Let's do a real Example :
BTC/XXX
Last Trade of this market is a SELL @ 0.01
You have 100 XXX so Estimated Portfolio Value is 100 * 0.01 = 1
Current BUY queue is :
Buy 20 @ 0.009
Buy 10 @ 0.008
Buy 10 @ 0.007
Buy 10 @ 0.006
Buy 10 @ 0.005
Buy 10 @ 0.004
Buy 10 @ 0.003
Buy 10 @ 0.002
Buy 10 @ 0.001
You Sell ALL (100), you think to convert XXX -> BTC and get 1 BTC.
But you will get this :
20 x 0.009 + 10 x 0.008 + 10 @ 0.007 + 10 @ 0.006 + 10 @ 0.005 + 10 @ 0.004 + 10 @ 0.003 + 10 @ 0.002 + 10 @ 0.001 =
0.18 + 0.08 + 0.07 + 0.06 + 0.05 + 0.04 + 0.03 + 0.02 + 0.01 = 0.54
Estimated (1) - Real (0.54) = 0.46 Less Than What You think
