CRYPTO-CITY.COM 🌟 Communities
Been using this exchange for a week or so. It's not too bad. Works pretty smoothly. Prefer this over Tradesatoshi.. https://cryptohub.online

Is this a coin? Why is there no website? I know for a coin to work well and own a large community are not needed a website, but how many coins are in circulating? Is PoW/PoS? Why should people buy bottlecaps? Of course, before I'd like to know if there is any exchange! There is some? Does the blockchain have any size?

are you gay ?  Roll Eyes

dumb question, anyone know what is the point of all this newbie comment spam? are they trying to build up activity points to be able to do something more nefarioius in the forums?
if forum creators/moderators made a point of deleting these spam, would it prevent whatever gains the nefarious ones are trying to make?

mullick has kindly provided me with a download link to a fresh windows compile for BottleCaps-qt.exe which has solved the 'crash' issues that I reported earlier in this thread with v1.4 when using encrypted wallets.

I'm sure that BottleCaps will be fully back on track soon and that issues with PoS / transaction fees should also be sorted out in the future releases.

most explorers have a 'network' area that will list the connections.
if the explorer is on the right chain - those nodes should be good

I get my connect nodes directly from the OP although I've noticed they are not always the same from forum to forum. It did sync up again; but, I'm still on a different chain. I think when it was trying to sync that my wallet briefly saw the other chain and I guess the other network. Shutting it down now and will down load the block chain again in a few days when it's sorted out.

Can someone point me to a breakdown of what the hell "5% PoS" means?

I read an entire article on the Bitcoin wiki about Proof of Stake and I don't think I understood any of it

It means you get 5% of your coins back every year in "interest" by keeping your wallet running which distributes the blockchain.  Miners do the same thing pretty much with their miners.

1.4.1 is nearly complete A kind user has created an installer to install a .conf file to prevent any node errors all nodes are verified operational and on the correct chain. Finishing up a few more things in the morning and release will be within 24 hours

wow. these posting spams are getting more and more contrived.

Just keep reporting them... When it's not "profitable" for them to do it, they should stop... although the scummy fuckers are not exactly known for their vast and widespread intellect....

So cryptopia now has or at least I come to find out today that they have a De-listings page

https://help.cryptopia.co.nz/en/t/delistings

CAP is NOT On there.  There could be some hope here.

Has Bottlecaps changed to the team? A lot of people complain that coins don't really trade at the moment. Is it in the adjustment?

If there's nowhere to trade outside of individual trades like on this forum... then people will most likely not trade the coin.

Maybe we should all listen to some Tony Robbins and get on another exchange.   Grin

Mining and only Solo Mine? And does it compensate for mining or due to the difficulty does it compensate more to keep the assets in Hold? It is listed only in Cryptopia ?

Not sure about first part, I just stake it. We are not even on Cryptopia, which is inexcusable for such a relatively large coin.   We might try to tighten up the Tradesatoshi ship, as I was not able to deposit there due to their address not being accepted by my wallet.

Yeah, I still let it do it's thing... but it's not quite the same without an exchange to play with.

There are so many new exchanges now.  This one looks like a good one:

I went on Cryptopia today

- you can NO LONGER withdraw your coins
- Coininfo does not show the proper wallet version.  Does not show any wallet version for that matter
- Block Height is zero

@tranz any more word from Cryptopia?

Yeah I'm going to say that Cryptopia reneged on their return of coins to their users... they're back to giving cookie cutter responses.

In other words, we ain't gettin shit.

@Tranz

Did Tranz every finally send them all their coins?
