This is a good approach for those who think hunters are the main reason why their coins crash on the market. If there is a way to avoid hunters from possessing your native tokens, then why still go ahead to give it to them and later blame them for your fall. They can even pay in stable coin and be free

Every projects are paying their bounty participants in their native token because in this  way they do not have any extra expenses before the token is listing. Actually, no project is paying their bounties in BTC or Ethereum. If any promising this then it is a fake project. I also joined some bounty which was offered in BTC for the bounty participation but still unpaid and their website also not opening. So, always evaluate the project before any bounty participation.

I don't think they wouldn't do that because they are greedy and doesn't want bounty hunters to really earn good amount. I noticed most bounties keep delaying bounty payments, bounty managers must take care of its bounty participants and a good solution is to have an escrow.

You should also understand that in most scenarios things are out of bounty manager's hand since payment comes directly from the team themselves. In that case bounty managers can only push and nothing else.

Escrow is a good way to secure but most of the projects refuses to put money into escrow since they don't have funds to reserve for marketing purposes or funds equal to the whole bounty pool.

Projects are doing ICOs because they don't have BTC or ETH, they are trying to fund the project and don't have much budget, all they have are tokens to distribute. If you are a bounty hunter you should first understand well why an ICO exists... and yes, I know a lot of managers that are dishonest, disrespectful, so try to choose well what you join.

1. During the course of the ICO, the project will get funding either in BTC or in ETH. A few of the projects have more options as well. The payment for bounty hunters is distributed after the ICO is over. Sometimes they need to wait for as much as 2-3 months after the ICO. So there is no excuse for not paying the reward in ETH.

2. Most of the ICOs reserve just 1% or 2% of the total pool for the bounty hunters. This amount is so insignificant and it will not affect the ICO budget even if paid out in ETH or BTC. Bounty hunters need a guaranteed reward for all their hard work, and that can only be realized if the payments are done in ETH. From what I am seeing, more than 80% of the ICOs turn out to be scams and another 15% fail to reach the soft-cap. The bounty hunters get reward only from the remaining 5%. This needs to change.

3. Bounty campaign managers are not the biggest troublemakers. Most of the time, it is the ICO promoters that engage in scams. The manager may be helpless, as all he has is a wallet full of tokens, which are good for nothing. The ICO promoters may collect the money and vanish, leaving the bounty manager high and dry.

actually the effect of bounty hunters when selling tokens and falling prices is not too big. in my opinion it is a bit unreasonable, because the total supply of tokens is 100%, later the tokens distributed to bounty hunters are not 100%, not even more than 50%. so, no need to blame anymore.

if payment is using btc or eth, I think that is also good. provided the estimated value is the same as the token value calculated from the stake obtained by the bounty hunter (reward), so that the project team also does not lose. so the two parties benefit each other.

Depends on the strategy of the project. Some preferred the payment on eth, btc but mostly want tokens as reward for their participants. The sole purpose of bounty is to create promotional marketing for the project and all for raising funds. If the funds will be raise will just for compensation for bounty it will cut also aome funding on some important matters for the project. Right? So there are some who wanted major crypto but some are not.

These are risks of being a bounty hunters and i personally experienced that some of the project i had participated with. Some projects cut allocations even projects went well on sales, delaying distributions because they are afraid of dumps and worst of all not getting paid at all. Mostly campaign are paid for native tokens as bounty rewards because they are just looking forward for fund contributions from their investors in the first place.

send & receive money instantly, with no hidden cost
These are the best types of bounties each and every hunter wish to participate in, its always considered great projects to me since I have got no worries about listing on exchanges, dumping and so on. Also project paying in btc or eth helps avoid blames from project managers concerning dumping by bounty hunters and I think this is a good initiative and wish all projects does same.

I would be happy to receive a reward for working in any token that has volatility in the market, I am interested in stable earnings, but most projects do not want to share part of the profit with bounty hunters, they also need people who can be slandered, saying that the price fell because of their actions.
Native token just like bitcoin and ethereum are gold and the majority of the icos are not wanna spending it to help the token to free from the pressure that will be made by the hunters. The dev always blaming the hunters even it doesn't get the payment and i would not be any surprise to see this will continue in the future. Just a simple think why they must pay the hunters with the gold if they can pay the hunters with a useless coin?

Participating in bounty projects that really pays in ethereum or bitcoin is the type of bounties bounty hunters prefer working which prevents hunters from thinking about listing and rise or fall of tokens by the project. Paying hunters in bitcoin or ethereum is a way project managers can easily focus on their tokens and know who is dumping, whether investors or team members.

For the fact that many projects in the cryptocurrency ecosystem doing bounties pay bounty hunters in their native tokens thereby blaming hunters for the dump in price most at times. I think it will be more preferable to have rewards paid in bitcoin or ethereum in order to save bounty hunters from receiving blames unnecessarily. I took part recently in a bounty (ANYONE project) and the payment is in btc though still awaiting payment but we're saved from unnecessary bickerings relating to price.
If on this bounty space we can get rewards in these currencies (btc or ethereum) it will do more good because after payout everybody faces their business and it will be left for the project team to see to how value could be added to their token or project as I can term it.

It's quite glaring and painful at the same time, bounty hunters are at the receiving end. In some cases, bounty managers change the rules with utmost disregard to hunters. I partook in a bounty just recently, where the BM was looking for a different excuse to cut down the rewards in their own native token seeing that price of the token skyrocket after their IEO and not allocating the agreed percentage to those tagged successful thereby denying hunters of what should have accrued them.

Any suggestion on the way forward that could be of help to bounty hunters having fair treatment and not be treated as a piece of rag after successful project campaign(s)? I want to learn from others experiences on the forum.
Anyone bounty campaign and other same bounty campaigns that are paying in BTC or ETH have only few slots in bounty campaign. Because it is a big diffrence when you have to pay in real money or in useless tokens.  Wink

I will say it many times already and will say it once more, the team doesn't have initial money to fund their project that is why they are launching an ICO to fund it. One thing more, they don't want to risk their own money into a project that is not 100% successful. We know that some of the projects right now are either scam or doesn't reach their soft cap ending in abandoning it.

All right. That is why for projects holding a bounty is the most profitable marketing in terms of costs. If successful, they will pay their tokens, the fate of which will be further decided by the dynamics of the market, in case of failure no one will gain or lose anything, except time, of course .

When I see bounty campaigns that offer bounty hunters millions in their tokens for promotion, I do not like participating in it at all because it is quite obvious that they are just out to scam people, if a project team is not wise enough to regulate the amount of tokens they give out to keep their prices stablez then the bounty hunters who just accepts what is given shouldn't be blamed at all, BTC and ETH paid bounties are good, but the fact remains that many of these projects cannot even afford to pay in those tokens.

As you have stated after allocating such huge percentage for bounties and most times they will even refused paying the tokens as stated at the end of the bounty campaign. Some will come up with flimsy excuses and others lock up tokens or distribute in phases and all these strategies never stop the proposed dump in price.

Bounty hunters will line up and choose these bounty campaigns and leave their current campaign that they are promoting if there are bounty campaigns that pay with Bitcoin and other tradeable coins, bounty hunters don't like to wait months and sometimes year for them to trade token that they receive and sometimes these projects are not successful.

There are some ICO campaign that pops up from time to time but their payout is not even worth it, some are only paying $2 to $5 a week in signature bounty campaign
Recently, I see more ICO projects that began to be paid to bounty hunters for their services in Bitcoin, ethereum or even Tron. However, of course, payouts in these coins are still a welcome rarity for bounty hunters.
As for the size of such payments, the situation here is getting worse. Many ICO campaigns now really pay their tons of several dollars a week, and sometimes for all participation in the signature campaign. Now we have to calculate in advance the size of the reward, otherwise it may turn out to be purely symbolic.

I think its better to pay with Bitcoin,Ethereum or any cryptocurrency that already liquid to erased those scilly accusation that bounty hunters is always dumping the bounty tokens after it was listed. So far numerous bounty campaigns was already do these bounty payment in BTC or Ethereum but most of time the allocation is not that big.
