Paying bounty hunters in BTC or ETH works as a way to avoid dumping the project token but i really prefer getting paid with native token, paying with native token to bounty hunters will even give more visibility to the bounty project and i will be able to hold the native token for long tern if the project is very promising.

There are very few such companies, about 1% of all bounty companies. It is more profitable for organizations to pay hunters with tokens, which may cost nothing in the future and may not appear on exchanges than to pay real money to hunters.
If that means the developer is not responsible, they are not serious in running the project. However, bounty hunters have a pretty good role in increasing the number of networks to attract investors.
Most bounties are paid with native tokens, a few tips from me to avoid scams, choose projects with working products and tokens already listed on the exchange, it becomes one of the alternatives because bounties with btc, eth, or other strong coins are very rare and usually participants restricted.

Not only for the pumping and dumping factors, using the top cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum as rewards for the bounty participation gives more visibility to the ico project as majority give rewards with their native token. After a long I came across two Bounty projects paying users with bitcoin and ethereum.

Yes, I already saw POLYX EXCHANGE 1st step of bounty campaign. PAYMENTS IN BTC signature prior to the company moving it to the Services section of bitcoin paying campaign. So there are still projects paying out in bitcoin and their native token. But let me remind you that the budget for that project is too small and I can't find if the bitcoin is escrowed or not.

That project will be swarmed by a lot of members looking for a bitcoin paying campaign. So let's see how that project will go and sustain hundreds of members trying to join.

For the fact that many projects in the cryptocurrency ecosystem doing bounties pay bounty hunters in their native tokens thereby blaming hunters for the dump in price most at times. I think it will be more preferable to have rewards paid in bitcoin or ethereum in order to save bounty hunters from receiving blames unnecessarily. I took part recently in a bounty (ANYONE project) and the payment is in btc though still awaiting payment but we're saved from unnecessary bickerings relating to price.
If on this bounty space we can get rewards in these currencies (btc or ethereum) it will do more good because after payout everybody faces their business and it will be left for the project team to see to how value could be added to their token or project as I can term it.

It's quite glaring and painful at the same time, bounty hunters are at the receiving end. In some cases, bounty managers change the rules with utmost disregard to hunters. I partook in a bounty just recently, where the BM was looking for a different excuse to cut down the rewards in their own native token seeing that price of the token skyrocket after their IEO and not allocating the agreed percentage to those tagged successful thereby denying hunters of what should have accrued them.

Any suggestion on the way forward that could be of help to bounty hunters having fair treatment and not be treated as a piece of rag after successful project campaign(s)? I want to learn from others experiences on the forum.

a very very good idea for me. Because when we bounty hunters receive a reward in a form of eth or btc, we won't need to sell the tokens anymore from a bounty that can cause the price of it to go lower than the ico price

Well, since most Devs now complain about Hunter's dumping the price of their tokens, I think the best thing to do is to pay them in a top 10 coin instead of their native tokens

Of course, it would be very good for managers to give rewards to bounty hunters Bitcoin and Ethereum for participating in the bounty, but this will not happen, since this form of payment is disadvantageous to project managers.

It will only be disadvantageous to them if their project is not attractive, but if it is, they can save on the reward as bounty given in BTC or ETH are lower in value compared to the tokens allocated, bounty hunters in the current market status would prefer getting paid with BTC or ETH as they can assure they can sell it out after their bounty is over.

Projects with payment by bitcoins and ethereum are very rare and not always worthy projects.

This is very rare because most of the projects that tries to run an ICO does not have enough budget, and some of them are just doing it to scam people.
In terms of the worthiness of the project, I believe investors will be more willing to invest in a project knowing bounty are in BTC because they will not be afraid anymore of the bounty dump.

Yeah, I knew this project of ANYONE, this campaign run for 2 weeks only then almost 50% of their signature participants didn't receive the rewards in BitcoinBTC. As I can see with it through their telegram channel, there is an inside job happened or connivance between the BM and the Dev. because I observed that every time the BM will forward the conversation with the developer it never appear if He is really conversing with it, only a word no any name of the DEV he talking too. However, paying out in bitcoin or ethereum as much as possible there should be an escrows and nowadays it hard to find a campaign like that.

It depends. As a bounty hunter, you want to get paid in Bitcoin or Ethereum if the coin project looks shaky but those people are the ones who shell out gazillions of tokens.

On the other hand, you want to get paid in tokens if the coin project has well known devs or all-star backing from prominent coiners, they usually pay small and in BTC.  Roll Eyes
You cant still say that because there were projects do give out decent BTC pay into their bounties and turns out to be a legitimate project later on.
Amounts allocation doesn't correspond with Projects success but I do always prefer on receiving top alts and BTC when doing task or campaigns than on
tending to received hundreds of thousands of amounts worth of shitcoins that doesn't have any value yet.

Honestly the rate at which project teams blame bounty hunters for dumping token price is glaring and I wish payment on Ethereum and Bitcoin will be better.

if bounty payment is replaced with bitcoin, ethereum, native token is good it's just that the reward is very little and of course I prefer to pay with tokens, and I think just ignore them or maybe you can show that you are a holder by holding the token bounty because according to I will be good and will reduce the assessment of people that you are a dumper

Most hunters participate in bounty programs as earning. For some, this is a way to get project coins without investment. It would be better if the payment for the work went at the participant’s choice either in the project tokens or in the BTC or ETH.

Indeed, bounty campaign participants often get accusations as the cause of falling tokens when they enter the market, because Bounty hunters sell tokens at low prices. If the Bounty Project is willing to pay participants with BTC or ETH, maybe that is a very good idea, so that the Bounty participants are not always blamed.
But unfortunately not many Bounty projects pay Bounty hunters with BTC or ETH.

The fact is i dont like receiving bounty payments in bitcoin or usd because  the reward is very low but only tradeable, getting paid in native token has better advantage than getting paid in btc, some projects has better product and once they pay you in btc you lose the chance of becoming a holder or just imagine if the native token is a POS token?

I perfectly agree on this topic and dislike is most on hearing that bounty hunters are been blamed for dumping. Most bounty hunter are been cheated upon when project managers and bounty managers realizes their token has skyrocketed in price. To prevent this mind gaming issues from happening, I think its cool for project managers to pay bounty hunters in btc or eth and face the crypto market with their investors with their native tokens.

When I see bounty campaigns that offer bounty hunters millions in their tokens for promotion, I do not like participating in it at all because it is quite obvious that they are just out to scam people, if a project team is not wise enough to regulate the amount of tokens they give out to keep their prices stablez then the bounty hunters who just accepts what is given shouldn't be blamed at all, BTC and ETH paid bounties are good, but the fact remains that many of these projects cannot even afford to pay in those tokens.

I also like the bounty paid by BTC or ETH, those bounty will give us a fixed amount and not afraid to be scammed. But honestly, those bounties have very low budgets and really are not worthy for participants

it's a two way thing in the sense that paying out bounties in ETH or BTC should be a sign that the team will go extra mile to make the project go mainstream because they wouldn't just wake up to throw such funds into the dustbin. On the other hand I think such bounties whether low budget aren't meant to last for months, they should be about 4weeks or thereabout.
