Bounty manager is someone who should always take care of participants interests as well as the campaign owners interest at the same time. BM's who are with the team or new are often seeing doing this since they have to do as they are asked to do otherwise it wouldn't make a good portfolio for them nor would they be paid in the end. I think bounty hunters should start joining campaigns being managed by professional bounty managers who have experience and know what is right and wrong.
good advice. bounty manager has a big role for the bounty hunter. if there are changes to rules, allocations, etc. at least competent Bm can provide a little defense from rules changes.
but finally we also have to understand that every thing we don't want is a risk factor.

very few projects are willing to pay using BTC or ETH because they prefer to secure funds in the form of BTC or ETH rather than their original tokens, and of course the impact they feel is a dump, which sadly they blame more on the bounty hunter than their performance.

Most projects would not want to actually invest in bounty hunters, rather they would prefer to pay them in the currency they generated, and base the payment on a wide speculative value.

Only project developers who are confident in the potential value of their currency can actually offer to pay all or part of the bounty reward in Bitcoin or preferably any other top ten cryptocurrency by market cap.

The reason why everyone wants to get paid in bitcoin or ETH is because they don't want to wait when bounty is over, they want quick rewards,i prefer to get paid in tokens because it will be a lot profitable than getting paid in ETH or btc

OP Want to pay with ETH or BTC because he want to get real money for their hard work. Of course if you get tokens and can be traded on big exchange will more profitable. But, how if projects you join for bounty, become a scam? We can't sell their token. our hard work just for waste our times.

maybe thats a good idea,
but for a new project without good capital in the beginning,
i think they didn't have enough money to pay the rewards with bitcoin or ethereum my friend
so, they will pay our rewards with token

The only projects that paid with Bitcoin are the gambling projects I'm wearing one now, you seldom find bounty campaign in ICO that pays with Bitcoin, and if ever they do they are very strict and there are so many rules to follow.

I participated in such bounty companies and I did not receive tokens or the project was closed or groups were not available
now I try not to participate in companies with such an award

Although possible, the majority of the projects are not going to do that, these bounty managers are greedy, not using funds coming from sales to pay their bounty hunters, they prefer to use their own token because they created it for free, it's very rare to see ICO bounty campaign paying tradeable coins.

Nothing can help, BM should get red trust when he changes the rules.
One effort to fight is to spread fud to their projects. giving a kind of protest so that the bounty hunter gets his rights.

But it's not so easy as you said consider about the platform will always choose to keep their funds into the major crypto rather than try to take a little percentage and distribute it as an exchange to the token payment that already deserved by the bounty hunters.

For the fact that many projects in the cryptocurrency ecosystem doing bounties pay bounty hunters in their native tokens thereby blaming hunters for the dump in price most at times. I think it will be more preferable to have rewards paid in bitcoin or ethereum in order to save bounty hunters from receiving blames unnecessarily. I took part recently in a bounty (ANYONE project) and the payment is in btc though still awaiting payment but we're saved from unnecessary bickerings relating to price.
If on this bounty space we can get rewards in these currencies (btc or ethereum) it will do more good because after payout everybody faces their business and it will be left for the project team to see to how value could be added to their token or project as I can term it.

It's quite glaring and painful at the same time, bounty hunters are at the receiving end. In some cases, bounty managers change the rules with utmost disregard to hunters. I partook in a bounty just recently, where the BM was looking for a different excuse to cut down the rewards in their own native token seeing that price of the token skyrocket after their IEO and not allocating the agreed percentage to those tagged successful thereby denying hunters of what should have accrued them.

Any suggestion on the way forward that could be of help to bounty hunters having fair treatment and not be treated as a piece of rag after successful project campaign(s)? I want to learn from others experiences on the forum.
