I have been suspended from my account for the week. There were 5k of followers. Account 3 years old. Oriented to the crypto currency and ICO. Very upset. Wrote in support. Responded with the standard unsubscription "Repeated violation of the rules of Twitter"
I would advise you to stop using all sorts of programs for searching and mutual subscription of new users. It's better to do everything yourself and not rush, then you will not be blocked. The facebook situation is more serious! There you can get to the ban only for the use of advertising.
I was blocked the day before yesterday, the second day refuse restoration of the rights. I will finger them as long as possible, I think over time everything will get better, but it is simply shocking.

I once had a warning on Twitter. I went to my page, and it was blocked but I entered the e-mail address (or something like that, I don't remember) and it was immediately unblocked. And the warning was that I had automated actions on the page. Although I do two retweets then I make a break for an hour or two then again two retweets. Sometimes I insert news links on different topics so that the page is not considered a bot-page.

Well this is obvious since twitter will ban any way of advertising ICO in twitter. So better becareful if you dont want your account to be block. Dont follow many people in a short period of time and dont use #ico anymore so that you'll lessen the chance to be block by twitter.

Thank for that tip! I also try to avoid such tags and use words that can not automatically identify that this is about ICO.

Spam and mass-following are the main reason of block. After your following(not followers) number reach 5000, you will be limited to follow many people in short time. I think using hastags that related to ICO like you mentioned above are fine as long as your twitter account isn't spammy. I always separate my tweet in 10-15 minutes to avoid spam.

Thanks for the warning. Honestly, I am not doing much twitter campaign lately.
I always use the twitter campaign carefully. I know that twitter more strict today. But this is the only social media that can promote ICO project after Facebook.

My account was blocked, although I didn't advertise ico and didn't even use #cryptocurrency.

I am curious, their business is based to sell advestising, so, they dont need the money? Do Ico illegal as a drugs, porn or any antisocial shit? So imo it is not a main reason in general, but i have no answer for now sadly.
Banning in social media of ICO, is to help the investors to think more on where to invest. Facebook and Twitter don't want to pursue too much advertising since there are ICO good on advertising and they dot want to be misinterpreted that they are supporting such ico that in the end will just scam their investors. We should at least be careful too on what project we use ou twitter account to avoid blocking, don't overuse your Twitter account few campaigns might be enough.
