^ He has a good chance to score a knock out as long as his hands are not to get broken again as compare to his last fight that's why he didn't score a knockout.

But you have to give Romero some respect of bad mouthing the champion, big balls and hope he can back his trash talk in the ring and not just fight to survived and get his biggest paycheck.

Looks like Davis has more advantage in this match and looks like he gonna explode to score another knockout here. Next month? I think this one has some fast negotiation since Romero sides will only take whatever the offer was because the main prize here is to gamble their boxer with Davis, hoping to win this fight with their prepared tactics.
Dvis have a clear advantage, for me and like many fans he affirms that he will win, although it is a fight that does not have as much relevance as the one we have been waiting for, he may have another type of vision, perhaps due to the fact that he does not have a lot of vision or a lot of visibility before the media, the bettors do not give importance to this fight. On the other hand, when analyzing Romero, it can be seen that he is a boxer who does not have much relevance, but if he can make a difference, I believe that with what Romero is going through, he will not leave it so easy.

It's because of the competition simple as that. Tank Davis is expecting to have a good fight or at least a name opponents.  Unfortunately, they have built a story line on a Romero vs Davis last year and they have to finished it as the original fight has been postponed. Nevertheless, the fight might not ring a bell to many boxing fans because Romero is an unknown opponent for Davis.

Despite that, I still want to see this fight as I want to see how Davis would KO Romero who is an unknown fighter who trashtalk the champion. By the looks of it, I think it's going to be a one-sided beat down, but the question is on how Davis would do that.

Tank is a great puncher he must not too eager to knock this guy or it will backfire we all that boxers should not go for knockout right away because it will just come, one example of this theory is the recent Lopez - kambosos fight, where Lopez just charge Kambosos and try to knock him out in round one, but it backfires instead he was the one who got knockdown, it could happen if he is to eager for the win.

But that was the story of Tank Davis, he cannot change that. If you look at his record, he has a very high KO rate, that's why he is one of the most exciting fighters in his generation. He could still win if he gets aggressive as long as he would always follow the game plan.

This fight may not surprised everyone if Davis will take the lead in the bet knowing he has held multiple world championships, so he's definitely more experienced than Romero. But even so, we can't have the full guarantee that he'll be able to score a knock out with Romero, but i guess that's most of the audience wanted to witness. Well then, only the ring will tell it all, be it Davis or Romero for the win.

Only the ring can really tell if who's going to be the winner in this fight, knowing that upset also present in this sport, though I'm also with Davis here to remove everything between him and Romero, for gamblers who loves to ride with high odd pick, betting with Romero might ring the bell for them, it's a chance that maybe slim but a lucky combination of punches may give them the win that they are waiting, who knows? maybe Romero has that luck and takes this one from Davis. Roll Eyes Cool

The ring and the judges, LOL.

Well, as long as the fight is exciting, I'm okay with that already although I really think that Davis will just dominate Romero.
However, since I love surprises, I liked to see how the trash talker Romero would do his job inside the ring.

The judges, if the scores will reach them but since both boxers are knockout specialist then we might see a knockout on this one rather than a decision. Romero is the underdog here and yes the odds on him are indeed juicy but he is against the Tank Davis who's record is untouchable after having 26 bouts in his career and his experience will play more on how he would dance towards Romero. This fight will be interesting to see!

It is some Boxers strategy lol, to try distracting their opponents by the use of trashtalk but this is an Old  school strategy in which most boxers now don't give a focus , they even ignore reading or watching from their Opponents until they go up in the ring.
I don't think that he can prove that over the ring , and most of the time? those bullying their opponents are in the end? the one who lose the fight lol.

Nahh it is just some old tactics of some of the boxers to create a fire on their upcoming fight, trash talking, belittling their opponent like what Romero did to Tank is kind of scenario that's not new in the world of boxing, I believe they did it on a purpose to distract Tank. But as we expected Tank will for sure not going to take this trash talking of Romero to him personally and will still concentrate to his training and focus on their upcoming fight. During this time the result of their fight only matters when the game start.
lol , it is indeed, yeah maybe at some point this is to create fire on the upcoming fight but it is also a way to distract or make anger the opponent.
this adds flavor to the fight when set ,  imagine a opponent will throw BS words towards your family member or even your wife? do you really believe that this will only affect the fans and bettors? lol this will also effect in the players mindset to set a skills that will bring down or Knock it down when the fight is on.
there are multiple effect int hat scenario but what i do believe is this is to break the heart of the other fighter.

I'm just surprised by the odds though, I thought that Romero will be at least be on the 3-4.x odds, but at 7? bookies are not giving him a chance to win?

He was touted as another big superstar coming from the Mayweather promotions and it seems that Tank got irked when they started to push for the fight again. But Floyd just brushed the rumor off and said that him and Tank are still doing good as promotional company-boxer relationship. So I guess it's time for Tanks to shut down Romero in this fight and score a knock out.

I agree with the odds of all the boxers that Tank hated the most, it's Romero this is the guy who irritated him the most I would love to see Tank knock this guy out and beat him badly, Romero is an overrated and just a hype, it's time he faces a real boxer
there are videos circulating how he compared Tank to a child because of his height, but Tank has been knocking out guys that are taller than him, one of them is Barrios.

I agree, Romero really gets on the skin of Tank that he needs to knock him out so that no more discussions about him and Rolly. Maybe he really talk to much that's why Tank is in no mood facing Romero but this is his time so let's see what Rolly can bring in the table that Tank hasn't seen before. I'm seeing Tank winning in less than 10 rounds here.

I really think this fight Gervonta Davis pretty much has many experiences than Rolando Romero, with that 26 wins and pretty much 24 on that is finished with KO's compared to Romero's 14 wins with just 12 KO's even though Rolando Romero has the reach advantage and the height advantage, Gervonta Davis will likely find their distance easily because of that experience that he has, both fighters are undefeated or don't experience how to lose so I think in this match 1 will likely to have a loss in his records, both surely have the power to knock out opponents Gervonta has the skilled to surely win the match, but Romero has the speed in striking his opponent, but I am pretty much positive with Gervonta Davis at the moment.

This makes me want to bet with Romero, with that kind of odds, it looks so enticing to make me want to bet with it. I hope that once I bet, he would win, lol. Even though it can be a trap, it's still something that you could take into account if you have extra money.

It's not a trap because we all know that Davis is the better fighter in this fight and due to his great performance in the past, that makes him very popular and probably resulted him to being overvalued in this fight although I believe he could win. However, since this is a sport, and upset could happen, maybe try betting only an amount you can afford to lose so you'll enjoy the fight.

I love to see boxers that are trash-talking and disrespectful to their opponents getting embarrassed in the ring like what happened to Josue Zepeda when he was knocked out in round one after disrespecting Vargas in their face-off, in their weigh-in
There is a limit to thrash talking you should not underestimate your opponent especially if you're thrash talking a champion and a knock-out artist.

I guess trash talking needs to back it up on the ring, the best trash talkers in boxers can do it because they can actually do what they say inside the ring.

But if you can't do it, they it will definitely back fire on you and if you get's knock off after bad mouthing your opponent, then you lost all your credibility and no one will take you seriously. Just like Romero here, he can't be taken seriously because he hasn't proved anything yet.

Exactly, they know that despite the fact people will watch them, they have to ensure to put more hype so it will generate more sales. Boxing now is not just a mere competition on who is better in the ring, the money that will come in has to be satisfying too so the promoters will keep giving us good fights to watch.

Trash talking is their usual way to hype the upcoming match and make noise. It has been a long time strategy especially for the underdog. It's annoying but it also has a benefit on their end. However, in this match, it's obvious that Davis is the favorite and it's already shown on the given odds. It should be a motivation for Romero to give his best and prove himself more in the ring.

Yes, it is, Romero is no patsy but Tank is so powerful and has a good movement inside the ring plus he hates the guy so badly but if Tank cannot control his anger this might get him out of his disposition he needs to think inside the ring, not just hitting your opponent, it's still a month-long before the fight and expect harsh thrash talks between the two, I will not be surprised if these comes to blow when they face off, so much anger is building up.

Hmm, this could really be a trap, not that I'm not seeing an upset, but Tank is too intelligent to fall for Romeros' antics and then lost focus on it. For all we know this could be just part of the marketing and promotion of this fight.

Romero didn't trash talk though, he just let Davis do the talking maybe he is playing mind games. But as I have said, Tank knows everything and has the experience and the power to knock this kid out for good.

Check out Youtube and you will find Romero thrash talking and even belittling Tank's capacity and height, he is good thrash talking on social media but face to face he is so tame, this guy Romero is fake he cannot handle the heat when he in front of the fire, he just does it on his own on social media making fun of Tank and other boxers, Tank will whip his ass when they fight
