That odds cannot be true. I can't believe it's too high, maybe I won't expect an exciting fight anymore, the odds should already tell that this is going to be a one-sided fight. I thought the fight prior to this was a better one, although Davis won the fight but it wasn't an easy one for him.

The only advantage of Romeo here is his height, if he can use it well, then maybe he will make an upset.

You can never take out an upset in any boxing match, Romero has a chance to win the title he has a good record but this fight has become very personal to Davis, we have seen Davis very cool and professional in his many fights, he takes it as another fight another journey to greatness but this time he is heated because of his arrogance.
This fight will be interesting because fights that are personal like the Hagler - Hearns fight have the making of a great fight.

Yes, we can't discount the fact that upsets can happen in any boxing match.

And I do agree that it seems that this fight is very personal to him, I don't know what Rolly says that he really gets into the skin of Davis. I remember Ryan Garcia in the Mike Tyson show and then they called up Davis for an interview, Ryan calls Davis many names but he didn't get mad but instead just smile at Ryan back then. But know, it's a different Davis that we are seeing against Romero, maybe inside the Mayweather gym something happens between the two before.

Yes something really happened between the two and it's not really good, check out Youtube and you'll find a lot of it, the one I find distasteful and really make a mockery out of Tank is this video

ROLLY ROMERO TROLLS GERVONTA DAVIS WITH "NEW SPARRING PARTNER" TO MIMIC HEIGHT & REACH and he's telling audience that there's no way someone as small as Tank can get near him, he really looked down on Tank come fight night he'll be in big trouble especially his big mouth.

I was watching their press conference a week ago, the fight would be intense as both of them were trash talkers.

Though Romero do have good record (undefeated) but I don't see he have enough skill to beat Tank. Tank was exposed on the last fight with Cruz, he didn't even want a rematch too. Romero's box like an angry kid, Tank would easily KO'ed Romero if he didn't improved his technical skills.

Maybe the hype was no longer there as well? They're supposedly to face against each other in December and the hype that time was big because Romero was doing all the talking and even went on full display with a fur coat during the press conference or face off if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, his height is only his advantage but we have seen Davis knocking out big opponents prior in Barrios. It will be interesting though has his hands are, if they remain brittle throughout his career then maybe it will affect him in this fight.

I'm just surprised by the odds though, I thought that Romero will be at least be on the 3-4.x odds, but at 7? bookies are not giving him a chance to win?

He was touted as another big superstar coming from the Mayweather promotions and it seems that Tank got irked when they started to push for the fight again. But Floyd just brushed the rumor off and said that him and Tank are still doing good as promotional company-boxer relationship. So I guess it's time for Tanks to shut down Romero in this fight and score a knock out.

I agree with the odds of all the boxers that Tank hated the most, it's Romero this is the guy who irritated him the most I would love to see Tank knock this guy out and beat him badly, Romero is an overrated and just a hype, it's time he faces a real boxer
there are videos circulating how he compared Tank to a child because of his height, but Tank has been knocking out guys that are taller than him, one of them is Barrios.

I agree, Romero really gets on the skin of Tank that he needs to knock him out so that no more discussions about him and Rolly. Maybe he really talk to much that's why Tank is in no mood facing Romero but this is his time so let's see what Rolly can bring in the table that Tank hasn't seen before. I'm seeing Tank winning in less than 10 rounds here.

Looks that way. They are sure Davis  will win. The option is by how he'd win which may just have small odd difference. There is nothing yet on the bookies.
But this is the kind of odd that lures you to bet for the underdog to win big even with the 92.31% KO rate of Davis. The tale of the tape says it all though, they both young and clearly Davis can do better than Romero.

So finally, this fight is going to happen, the original fight date is December of last year but Romero had to pull out of the fight because of sexual allegations. So Davis continue and instead fought a game Isaac Cruz and won by a majority but close decision. Davis didn't score a knock out because he hurt his hands. But it seems it is healed already and so they will proceed to fight Romero.

There was some animosity back in December during the announcement of the fight and for sure this will continue this May

I'm still giving Davis an edge to win against a rugged Romero and I wouldn't be surprised if this is going to be a war and Davis winning by a knock out.

Current odds:
Davis - 1.06
Romero - 7.20
