If it's too early, then who would he challenge? I guess there's no other fighter that he could challenge to prove himself, it's either Spence or Crawford and I think here he is taking one step at a time, if he wins here, that will be the biggest win of his boxing career as he will be a unified champion.
I understand, if Ugas win against Spence it could be one of the biggest upset in this year. Yeah you're right, only Spence and Crawford who's having the titles.

The thing is after the previous won against Pacquiao and got the WBA titles, he will losing his belt if he lose against Spence. The recent lose he's lose against Porter, so IMO it will be better if he rematch with Porter to warming up and see the improve, even he wouldn't got any titles if he win.

This is the kind of fight that we would like to see, champion vs champion or the best vs the best. Ugas used Pacman as his stepping stone to have bigger fights and it's a dream come true for him because after Pacman, he now will face Spence, and who knows it will be Crawford next.

It's a battle that he should take, instead of playing safe and fighting the challengers without a belt, he chooses Spence who is better than him in the eyes of the many. It's about time for him to prove that he deserved to be in the top 3 of the welterweight division and that starts by beating Spence in this fight.

Ugas is not like that. He is just going with the flow. Even in a doubt that he can beat Pacquiao, he still accepts the replacement. And now that he won, guess what, it's opened a door to another big opportunity by defeating one of the strongest in the Welterweight.

Spence still has the chance to win but Ugas shouldn't be taken lightly. He is the most determined to win here based on my own observation.

Either Yordenis Ugas or Errol Spence should take this fight seriously even let's say at the moment Ugas is the underdog Spence should not also be at ease that he has a lot of advantage against Ugas. At this fight, both fighters almost have the same reason why they must prove themselves here in this fight and that is to be known as one of the best fighter in welterweight division. I believe this fight will be a challenging to both fighters and I could not wait to see them inside the ring and can't wait who will be the winner.

Both fighters are surely serious. I mean, why shouldn't they?

They are both titleholders and have a goal to target.

We will see surely see a close fight here and everyone will be entertained. Can't wait for that day.
This is where things gets exciting and thrilling on which you could really see a fight which would really be entertaining and we've been longing or wanting something like this on which
fights could really be possibly close since both are known to be good into their respective capabilities inside the ring.

Of course they would really go serious and I don't see the point on why shouldn't they? It is just if Ugas would able to beat Spence
then that one would be a unexpected thing to happen for most people.

For me it's too early for Ugas to challenge Errol Spence, even he has beat Pacquiao but it's not enough. Ugas is catching already the age. There's no chance of fighting Spence if he will not consider it doing it today. Since he defeated Pacquiao, it makes more sense to challenge a boxer above him and also a titleholder.

Why should he delay for it if the big purse is already reached by his hands?

This is a great time for Ugas to challenge Spence. There will be no opportunity like that again.

There were some excuses on Pacman's camp on that lose, so Ugas has to prove that he really is a great champion and that is by beating Spence which again he is listed as the underdog in the sportsbook. I like Ugas discipline, he is so humble and you can tell he is really working hard to achieve where he is now, but in order for him to kill the doubts of the people on him, he needs to beat Spence, very simple.

The same way I see him. He seems more inspired and eager to win here as what a big recognition he can get if he was able to win the fight.

But in reality, being inspired, hungry, eager, etc. isn't enough to win the fight. It needs actual physical strength and I'm sure Ugas is already working on some strategies he can use against Spence Jr. However, on the other hand, Spence Jr. is also having the same way. No way he will just allow Ugas to control the fight as they have the same goal.

This is wrong. Ugas don't use Pacman as a stepping stone but he was asked to be a replacement fighter for Spence Jr. It's not that Ugas eagerly requested of it. It's a chance that he grabs right away. It's an opportunity. And since he won, that leads to another big fight.

Ugas prior to defeating Pacman is already out of the discussion in any big fight that's why when he was asked to fight Pacman, he grab it right away even there's roughly just a week to train.
Yeah, he was just a replacement and he confidently accepts that even he knows that he's fighting a legendary boxer and he knows the door of opportunity that would open up if he would able

to beat him up and it did really happen and now we are seeing that he would fight on the guy that he had replaced on which if he do able to beat him up then that would

surely be a big boost up on Ugas boxing career and might be considered to be one of the best. What you think?

One of the things that i do like on these kind of boxers on which they are humble and doesnt really need to make out some trashtalks just to sell out the fight.
Beating up the crap out of those top boxers would really be the key on getting that attention on boxing world.I wouldnt be surprised if Ugas would really
able to beat up Spence but this would really be that like on breaking a huge wall but once he succeeds then thats a good turning point on his entire career.

Underdog, Favorites - all these should be disregarded. We know Spence is a big threat to anyone because that's what we used to see. It doesn't mean that Ugas can't handle him just because we know the capability of Spence.

Ugas is surely doing his best to counter Spence. There's still a long time for their training to improve their respective skills and strategy that will be applied and used when they now finally meet on the actual fight.

I see your point, if Ugas won't change his style of fighting the advantage will still favor Spence Jr. like what you said Spence is a two-way fighter his mental skills is better compared to Ugas which mostly relying with his stamina and good defensive strategy, while Spence have that capabilities to study his opponent while inside the ring,

Do you guys really think that there will be no adjustment during the actual fight? Of course, there is.

Even Ugas won't change his fighting style, it doesn't mean that he is done for. What if, he was improving that style because that was his comfort move.

While fighting on the ring, I'm sure there will be lots of adjustments that both boxers will do based on the given situation.

This is a big fight for both as the winner could earn another belt, os it's going to be challenging for both although we have Spence as the heavy favorite to win the fight. I hope that Ugas will be more motivated to win the fight, so even if he will fail, at least he could give his very best to beat Spence.

A big fight challenge as well for the one who will win as he could face Crawford after this fight. For Spence, he should try his best because he was inactive for awhile, I believe that he has the talent (no questions about that), but Ugas hard work will beat talent if Spence will be complacent enough in this fight.

Ugas' resilience will help him on this match. No doubt Spence has the ability to beat Ugas, but still we can't neglect the preparation aspect when it comes to actual performance. Ugas knows what is at stake here and if he wins, he will prove again about his technical strength. So this is indeed interesting. Spence should not take this fight lightly.

We are thrilled that manny has agreed to go ahead and Ugas has gone ahead to defend his title who once held the title. Ugas had co features and was preparing to fight on this date so he was ready. This is a big challenge as he now has to defend his first title against the boxing legend in a career defining fight. Ugas is prepared to take on this challenge I have worked hard and I know together that to fight against anything that manny will bring to the ring.
For me it's too early for Ugas to challenge Errol Spence, even he has beat Pacquiao but it's not enough. Ugas mostly play defensive and it's really bored to watch, while Errol Spence can play both offensive or defensive. Both of them ever fight with Porter in the same year (2019) the result Spence win while Ugas lose, it was a close fight against Spence but Ugas doesn't gave a good fight.

For me Spence will still undefeated, until he fight with Crawford... it will be 50/50.

He will go toe to toe if it's needed or play safe if he sees that he's got the advantage of throwing punches and covers to avoid any hit.

We will see those things when they are already in the ring and exchanging punches. We will know which side got the better advantage.

I think Ugas has been calling many fighters but they don't want to face him. So it's good that after beating Manny, he will have to face another champion in Spence. So both have the belts, and this might be the winner facing Crawford next for unification. Others have expecting Spence to win here so that we will see a mega fight in the future: Crawford vs Spence Jr for the title of the best welterweight.
