Looks like they'll be scrambling to fill the undercard spot now that the fight was cancelled due to a dirty drug test.  I'm sure Jake Paul is looking to fill that slot himself, but I'm not sure how many people would be willing to step up with this little notice.  Although if Jake wanted, I'm sure he'd be able to find someone.  It's a bit concerning that the fight is still having setbacks, but I think we're all expecting to see a shit show so maybe a last minute undercard fight setup is par for the course.  Whatever happens, I just hope they don't cancel the main event.

It's a money grab fight but I'm still watching just because I love fights and this would likely be more entertaining than previous clown fest fights that happened this year. More of an exhibition than an actual fight, but we'll see. Any bettors out there? I would love to know your thoughts and favorites on this bout.
Well, it is an exhibition match so no shit that it is a money grab fight plus Mayweather is already retired so there's no point saying that it is a title fight. I would love if the bets included which round that the fight ends and if the player is correct on who wins and which round, the player's bet is going to be multiplied.

Indeed, it's all money and nothing else. Mayweather will be living up to his name as Floyd Money, we know that from the very beginning. Though IMO, this fight is gonna be boring to watch, but I still believe there are people who would fall in love in this kind of exhibition fight, both fighters would still make money from this fight, maybe not as big as Mayweather made before.

I’d go see it live if I were younger and feeling crazy. The fight will be the least of it. The entire city will be partying all weekend and I’m sure the clubs will be absolutely insane. This might not draw the A-list celebrity crowd, but I’m sure there will be plenty of C-listers everywhere you turn that weekend. I wouldn’t hate to be there at all… If you’re young and rich and looking to go a little crazy, I can’t think of a better place to be during this event.

this fight wont push through if they havent accumulated enough numbers and now it resumed and been set out then is already understandable.About being scripted
then its not new anymore because exhibitions are really intended to put up entertainment but same as said that at least they would really be giving us out some
nice and entertaining fight which wont last up only a few or couple or rounds or simply say that it should really be worth on the money being spent
by those who bought those ppv's which same you had mentioned.

For me i would just wait up for the replay and never intent to pay up something just for this one.

Yes, I don't think it is worth paying for PPV for this exhibition fight. Better wait for free livestream or re-play of the fight. Unless, someone is really die-hard fans of this two. They will both get their money anyway without putting too much pressure on themselves because it is just an exhibition fight. But Mayweather should win on this one, otherwise, he will taint his record, even let's say, it is only exhibition match.
I really do wonder if there are people who actually spent money just to see this live?
Maybe a Logan Paul haters or a die hard fan of Mayweather? Huh

We all know who will gonna win with this without putting a lot of speculation and expectations since this is a kind of job Mayweather chose to enjoy his undefeated title and soon might be retiring. And also I don't find this kind of fight where everytime a youtuber and a professional boxer agree on this one we all know what they want and it's annoying.

I know a lot of people are going to expect Paul to be knocked out or dominated by Floyd but a lot of people might get disappointed. It's obvious going all guns blazing right off the bat isn't Floyd's style and not for the lack of being able to, but what I like about Floyd is he is a box office showman and he has made a hell of a career out of it. I expect Floyd to play around Paul before bringing any effort at all, well maybe in the later time of the fight.

Logan Paul has a lot of fans and Floyd Mayweather has fans who wants to see him knocked out and they might purchase the PPV as well, couple of weeks left for the fight and they have already hyped up the situation with the drama they had during their promotional meeting and those things will help them in gaining more viewers for this fight and in a couple of weeks we will know whether these sort of exhibition fights can attract viewers.

When it comes to fan counts then there would really be paying off and would love to see on who would be taken down because even majority would be seeing this to be not appealing but there are
different market on which they can really make out some bucks.

Hyping it out is part of their job and one example is on that promotional meet which its normal that they'll needing to spice it up to create more hype and interest to see
on what would happen if they do fight.

Just like others, i would rather see this fight on replay than paying up some bucks for this one.

whereas, on the other hand, pacquiao is fighting topnotch boxers. so this is a shame if mayweather will lose this one, an exhibition fight with a youtuber. i don't think, he will let that happen. but don't want to see his running technique here. after all, they are not after for any professional belt.
the purse had been discussed already, so we don't know if the show will be scripted or not, if they give at least a good show to those who will buy ppv. it had been postponed once, so maybe this time they got good numbers for them to proceed this exhibition fight.

KO in the first round wont happen just because people who have bought PPV need a show. But seeing Logan Paul KO'ed is something I wish also Cheesy I'm also sick and tired of all these immortal youtubers. Professional sport and fun must be divided. Or at least make fights where fighters have equal skills and don't do mismatches of freak matches just for the money. If people seek for fight, freaks and fun - welcome to WWE Cheesy
I'm much rather Mayweather get KO'd by Logan just because of the amount of press it would get, and ultimately it would be hilarious. Imagine it, the self proclaimed GOAT, and a lot of fans sort of echoing that getting knocked out by a predominately Youtube entertainer, who has previously got beaten, and drew with a Youtuber who is most famous for playing video games.

It would be absolutely hilarious. Although, I have been quite open in stating that the chances of that are completely minimal. I'm not even sure I would want to see Logan get knocked out, I would prefer if it went the distance if Mayweather were to win.
That would turn out to be "talk of the year" if that certain fight would end up for Floyd to lose into a youtuber. I dont know on where they do get that kind of confidence
on where Logan could able to knock Floyd on this upcoming exhibition. If other pro boxers out there wont able to do so then how this guy would able to make it possible?
Not to underestimate but the gap in terms of experience and skills is too far off.

The Best Tipster on the Forum!!

I thought the running style is Mayweather's style.  Wink
But we will see the power of Logan here, if he is indeed serious with his training.
This exhibition match may go far. Or at least give us good reasons to watch and bet on this fight.
Mayweather may have had the experience, but is he still in good shape when he gets inside the ring?

The fight might not seem the same as how he fought that Japanese but this one is also funny since this is also an exhibition fight as well. I wonder what kind of strategy they prepared with this fight to make it more real than his last fight. If this is a real fight that has no cheating or whatsoever, I think Logan Paul should not give him any serious fight because if he does, he will surely lose it. He needs to play around and make this fight like never seen before in the sport of boxing to entertain the people. that's the only thing he can do to make it pleasing to watch.

For me, it's more entertaining if we will see  KO in this fight, I'm sure it will not be Mayweather but it will be Logan Paul. Mayweather should stop playing around, make this fight a serious fight as the PPV subscription is not cheap, fans deserve to see an entertaining fight.

well, sorry.. we have a different ways of getting entertain.  Cheesy

I would like to see a KO in the first round already by mayweather.Im tired of this youtube kids trying to make this sport look like its too stupid and that anyone can do it.He should just put him in his place

I wouldn't pay too much attention to edited clips Logan Paul puts out. He's not going to put out a video of him getting knocked out or struggling to stay upright as he runs out of juice, so he's just trying to hype up the fight and give the critics something to discuss. I'd just take it as propaganda from him but I don't think the fight is going to be the walkover people think it's going to be for Mayweather. I expect him to win but wouldn't surprise me if it goes the distance or Logan manages to make it to the later rounds but Mayweather will outbox him. The weight/size difference and age are all in Logan's favour though so Mayweather just needs to do what he does best and dodge the big shots and hope he gets tired.
Yeah, and it wasn't all at once time, but rather one after another. Plus, we don't actually really know how much time was inbetween the fights, so they could have been quite a lengthy break in between. I don't believe it was, since most of them were clearly untrained in boxing.

Interesting that you think it could potentially make it the distance. I don't see it making the distance personally, either the weight difference is a massive issue for Floyd, and Logan catches him or Mayweather does exactly what he did to Logan, except I'm not convinced that Logan as the same toughness as Mcgregor or his brother for that matter. By toughness, I mean getting punched in the face, obviously he has wrestled at a decent level, and that obviously requires some toughness, but I think actually getting hit in the face is a little bit different.

He's always in good shape and he wont be called baby face too if he would be beaten up or hit up by punches on his face. His running style is really effective and that's the way he fights.

Yes, its funny but it works when it comes to technicalities on how to win a boxing fight. Don't be hit and make up some points and that's how thing should go.

It would really be good if we do see longer rounds but hopefully this wont involved lots of running. lol

Logan Paul has started putting out a lot of boxing content including a recent video where he fights four of the Gronkowski brothers at the same time and manages to get the best of each one. I am hoping and I believe that Logan is going to surprise some people against Mayweather. He has clearly been putting in the work to become a better boxer and I think it is going to show. I’m still hoping for a KO by either side, but I think Logan will most likely lose by decision.
The kind of training Logan did is nothing compared to the kinds of training Mayweather did back when he was still active in his professional career, and also, the experience of Mayweather is the key factor why he will win this fight easily, if the result is the opposite, then I believe the fight is getting rig for a purpose which would benefit Mayweather more.

Agreed on that, by and large, regarding both  experience and footwork Mayweather is superior of Logan. However one have to take into account their age gap. This 9-rounds fight won’t be an easy walk for Mayweather. I would bet on Logan, provided that there is no bias on the part of those who will judge the coming fight.

I don't actually see that this fight will reach 9 rounds if it's not Mayweather dictating the tempo. It will only reach 9 rounds if Logan will avoid to engage and he will just run in the ring while Mayweather will hunt him all night.
This might be the first time on seeing Mayweather is the one hunting eh? Most of his fights this man is way too evasive in the way that its a bit irritating with that fighting style
but the fact that he wont be undefeated if not because of his style so its understandable.

Round 9 for it to last? No it wont but tendency for it to happen if they would set out the fight to last long but Im sure that it would be boring since punches
weren't meant to be that serious.

2-3 rounds I guess would be enough if it would be taken seriously or even Round 1 I guess. hehe
