I don't actually see that this fight will reach 9 rounds if it's not Mayweather dictating the tempo. It will only reach 9 rounds if Logan will avoid to engage and he will just run in the ring while Mayweather will hunt him all night.

This might be the first time on seeing Mayweather is the one hunting eh? Most of his fights this man is way too evasive in the way that its a bit irritating with that fighting style
but the fact that he wont be undefeated if not because of his style so its understandable.

Round 9 for it to last? No it wont but tendency for it to happen if they would set out the fight to last long but Im sure that it would be boring since punches
weren't meant to be that serious.

2-3 rounds I guess would be enough if it would be taken seriously or even Round 1 I guess. hehe

I wouldn't pay too much attention to edited clips Logan Paul puts out. He's not going to put out a video of him getting knocked out or struggling to stay upright as he runs out of juice, so he's just trying to hype up the fight and give the critics something to discuss. I'd just take it as propaganda from him but I don't think the fight is going to be the walkover people think it's going to be for Mayweather. I expect him to win but wouldn't surprise me if it goes the distance or Logan manages to make it to the later rounds but Mayweather will outbox him. The weight/size difference and age are all in Logan's favour though so Mayweather just needs to do what he does best and dodge the big shots and hope he gets tired.

If anything, and Logan is probably aware of this. Mayweather will want to hurt Logan more due to the antics. Yeah, some of this is likely to build the fight, as every other fighter tends to do. Although, I do tend to think that Mayweather is getting sick, and tired of the "childish" actions being taken, and will want to prove a point. So, if anything this probably reduces the chances that Logan can win, since Mayweather will want to make an example out of him rather than coast along in the fight.

Mayweather was much calmer in the build up against Conor. He didn't really say anything of significance, and although there was some funny remarks probably nothing Mayweather has heard before. If Mayweather has let a couple of kids get into his head from some childishness then he can't be that great of a fighter. If you let this sort of stuff bother you then it's just welcoming more of it from them and others. Trashtalking works both ways though: to try sell the fight and get an advantage psychologically. If you can truly annoy someone or make them angry before they've stepped foot in the ring it can lead to recklessness and fighters losing their cool and that's an easy way for an upset to happen. If the Paul's have geniuly annoyed or hurt him then this is only an advantage for them.

Yes, because he is not used to this kind of selling the fight, it's more of trash talk, but no confrontation in public. If there is one, not like this being pulled on him. And maybe this is the first time that we have seen someone getting into Floyd's skin.

Because he has not expected this to happen, but there are fighters who promote a fight so hard that results in hurting anybody, Conor did worse than this in UFC fight promotion but he was not able to do this in boxing as Floyd already what Conor can do. let's just move on to this incident, and it should not change our expectation that Logan Paul will never have a chance of beating Floyd.

Its true that even a fan of Logan Paul wont really believe that they would have the chance on winning this one.

I agree with that, however, I think even if they don't believe Logan will win, that doesn't mean that they will not pay for the PPV to watch, some with money will be interested and they are willing to pay to watch this fight. At least both will make millions because Floyd has never failed to make big money in boxing, especially in exhibition fights.

I just read about the incident where Mayweather has threathened the Logan brothers over the issue of the hat. Mayweather I think is very professional in and out of the ring and in my opinion is not really into pranks or minor shenanigans being committed at him. So that is why he got really pissed when that happened. And the Logan brothers said that they now have people seeing them or like bodyguards who are protecting them because of that threat. The brothers think that Mayweather is a very influential person and that he can pull strings against the brothers.

I don't think Mayweather has to threaten them over that hat when in fact Paul already got a black eye. If the rumor is true then why not reserve that on their fight instead? If Floyd want him dead let that ring be the venue and not over some threats I don't think that's manly at all.

It's like the same as other matches that we used to match and seemed to be scripted. But we'll see how both of them will box inside the ring a month from now.

An exhibition match doesn't mean its a scripted wrestling match. Both of these fighters are going to want to win. Mayweather has his perfect unbeaten record to preserve and LP will want to win for obvious reasons. Paul is the underdog so has nothing to lose but Mayweather has a lot of pride and a huge ego so a loss would be a huge embarrassment to him not to mention tarnishing his legacy. They both seem to have developed a dislike of each other as well so I don't think either of them are going to take it easy and go into this like it's a sparring session.

I don't consider Floyd as a best fighter to be honest, his fights are more on wearing out the opponent and they aren't that bloody compared to other boxers in his division. Yeah, maybe Floyd give him a free pass with this one, but he already take notice of this childish prank from the two. But when he pulled his "Gotcha Hat" Floyd felt disrespected in front of millions so he needs to do something about it, resulting in a brawl.

I don't think that Floyd get offended as you have said, he even tie it again.

But probably this is the first time that Floyd saw this act on his boxing career. In boxing it's more of a trash talk, but here, just a prank, like what they are known for as Youtube sensationalist. So let's see the fight between Logan Paul and Floyd, this could have more drama and all for the money.

it's sometimes new though that Floyd becomes the not so annoying kid and the two are the antagonist. but i got to say these two Pauls got balls.
if this isn't an act or if this opponent is just a Mexican, not a second Floyd's fist is going to fly to the face of Logan's brother, he can't even bend to untie a lace. its a good show though and makes Floyd's personality better, good PR.
