So after Jake Paul beat Mike Tyson a few days ago, a bunch of UFC wrestlers offer to beat him up fight him in the ring.

And then iShowSpeed the streamer comes in and says he could beat this guy in a boxing match if he professionally trained for 6 months.

Then Jake Paul's manager offers him $20 million for the fight. $10m of it if he beats Paul.

Do you guys think this match-up will happen?

Me, personally, I don't think so, but I've seen more outlandish things happen.
I don't want to sound too weird but I really believe iShowSpeed can fight Jake.

Jake might be a professional MMA fighter but iShowSpeed is one of the highest athletes I've seen he doesn't really focus on one area in life he just likes competitions and his always determined to do what he wants and if he prepares to beat Jake with his competitive life he could do it.

This guy iShowSpeed has done so many craze things that people thought he couldn't do.

And a reminder to those thinking Jake is a good fighter because he won Mike Tyson I just want to remind y'all that Jake in all sense can't beat Mike something was definitely wrong in that fight.

Ishowspeed is famous for doing stupid things and when he's getting money for it, he'd definitely do it. But whether Jake Paul would accept the fight or not is a different question. Jake Paul too had a similar introduction to boxing, he challenged himself he could do good in boxing if he practiced and with extensive training he became what he is now. Ishowspeed or whatever his name is if dedicated himself to practice those 6 months, he might come out as a good boxer but if he continued his stupid ways of getting attention, I don't think he'll stand a chance inside a boxing ring. Ishowspeed lacks the discipline and dedication Jake Paul has, Jake has already twitted that Ishowspeed is probably joking cause he knows he don't stand a chance against me. I too think it was just a joke.

Its hard to sell this fight; of course Jake's manager is just joking, but if Jake wants to set up the fastest knock out in the history of boxing, then this is the guy to fight. I don't think iShowSpeed can even take a jab, this guy is funny but he cannot stand a chance even on an amateur boxer.

I mean, I don't think this match will happen either. I saw it the other day, I didn't think it was anything serious, but his manager made an offer.
Anything can happen, even more absurd things happen. If it was a real match, not an exhibition match. Speed would definitely have a chance of brain damage.
Who knows how much weight difference there is between them. Cheesy

This is impossible to happened unless someone is willing to gain or lost half of their weight just for this match since Jake weight 227lb while ishowspeed weigh only 143lb.

Maybe in the future this is possible since this is just an exhibition match if one of them will commit on the weight they will agree however this is not possible for a period of 6 months or it’s suicide.

At the interview iShowSpeed said he can beat Jake Paul and iShowSpeed said too just give him 6 months to training then he confident can beat Jake Paul with knockout

"Everyone has a plan until they got punched in the face" Cheesy This phrase belongs to Jakes previous opponent. Mike Tyson said that many years ago. iShowSpeed only can visualise how he will knockout Jake. That would be only a dream, because iShowSpeed never had a professional boxing fight before. I am sure he did not even had a real sparring in his life, and only punched pads or his coaches played along with him because of his money. How this fight be even possible? How come a guy with zero real fighting experience even plan to knockout a professional boxer?

The likes of Sean Strickland and Artur Beterbiyev were harshly critical of Jake Paul for his fight with Mike Tyson. On the bright side, Jake Paul won't be criticized by the professionals this time... :) There is a huge weight and experience difference between iShowSpeed and Jake Paul. iShowSpeed is looking for entertainment, but he's going to get a real beating if this fight happens... :)

Why not? iShowSpeed is one of the top Youtuber right now, so it's just about time that he will like this kind of action and obviously it's for the show and money.
There's this famous wine tester who was one of the first investors in Facebook, he said attention is the new currency. The fight between Jake Paul and Mike literally broke Netflix online viewership. They got the attention and money. That's what this is going to do. Of all of iShowSpeed's stunt this is going to be one of his greatest stunts he'll pull off whether he wins or not.

It's actually $10 million to fight, and $10 million extra if he wins. So $20m in total. At least that's what Jake's agent said.
$10 million is so much money just to play around. I think I have to change careers.

Since when professional boxing has become a comedy show? Just look at a the shape of iShowSpeed, he has zero chance to win, and the fact that Jake offers him $20 million is because he only wants easy fights, and secure wins all the way.

I would like to see Jake fighting a professional fighter like Canelo, we need to see something like that to see if Jake really have some boxing skills.

This fight is hard to happen, their weight already have big difference, Speed also has been known as a troll, which shouldn't be taken serious. If Jake Paul want to fight with celebrity, he should fight with KSI instead.

Jake Paul will easily knockout Speed, Speed only good in running, but has zero skill in other sports.

Haven't heard of this guy before.
Is he a famous streamer of what exactly? Gaming streams or some notorious things you see these new streamers get clout for on some other platforms?
Dude, are you serious? Cheesy

Although he's a gaming streamer, but he's a huge fan of Ronaldo, most of Ronaldo fans know him.

iShowSpeed is a clown, so if this fight happens, it’s pretty obvious it would be staged. I’m not sure if the offer was even serious or if they’re just entertaining the idea because iShowSpeed himself doesn’t seem serious with his statements.

Honestly, I doubt this fight will happen, it’s a huge mismatch. Jake Paul has transitioned into being a legit pro boxer with real knockout power. If Jake takes the fight seriously, I’d be worried for iShowSpeed’s safety. It’s hard to see how this would play out without being completely one-sided.

It is quite possible if this hype story will be beneficial for both of them. It was obvious to me that the fight with Tyson will definitely not be the last one since this is a very profitable business and the next big bloggers will participate in such fights. This story is definitely not about sports interest but about advertising contracts and profit.

When money, engagement, and followers are involved, anything can happen. After all, it's business, lol

But if this really happens and it's a serious fight, Jake Paul will simply destroy his opponent. However, as incredible as it may seem, boxing with these influencers has now become a kind of modern WWE. As long as it generates revenue and sponsorship, it will continue to happen, and it seems that the public has approved of this fighting format.
Yep, this is part of the business, because it involves big money whatever the challenge will be.

Maybe this could be a serious match but we know how the character of iShowSpeed who always has a lot of jokes, even if he prepares seriously for 6 months for him will not be enough to beat Jake Paul.

But I think this fight will be a kind of entertainment, of course there are a lot of bettors behind it.

Let's just say it can happen. But 6 months of training doesn't mean you can beat someone who has been doing it every day for years. That's a punch to the face of those who had been pouring all their life into boxing.

Still, I would not watch such a fight. That fight between Paul and Tyson will be the last one for me when it comes to entertainment matches because it ruins the essence of the sport. They are milking on people and I was actually amazed at how many will bite the traps that they will set so that it will be hyped. Well, I guess it's easy to satisfy people nowadays because of the lack of entertainment but still, that's not the boxing matches that I used to watch and it's not really entertaining for me.
Now, two Youtubers? Ergh!

Do you guys think this match-up will happen?

IShowSpeed is very confident to beat. Moreover, if IShowSpeed really wants to box with Jake Paul he wants time to put in his energy so that Jake Paul is KO'd, as stated by himself.
Quote
“Give me six months to train, and I can beat Jake Paul. I think I’d knock him out in the fifth or sixth round.”

But Jake Paul's team is already putting money into IShowSpeed.
Quote
“Tell him I have $10 million for him right now. If he signs this week and beats Jake, he gets an extra $10 million. Put your money where your fame is,”

I hope that the team and manager IShowSpeed can sign a contract this week, for clarity of boxing for both of them, it doesn't matter that IShowSpeed has been training for six months, but the contract must be signed in the near future.

But elsewhere I also saw Jake Paul's statement about IShowSpeed.
Quote
Jake Paul himself responded to a social media post about the potential fight, suggesting that Speed was just joking: “Speed knows better. My guy was just playing for sure.”

This is ridiculous, just a joke, but we will see in the near future whether the Jake Paul team and the IShowSpeed team, really signed their boxing contracts, if not it's just a joke, for the seriousness of the two facing each other in the ring is in the contract, maybe we will see the resultsSerious or not this week, all boxing fans are hoping for something strange to happen.

So your OP said $20 million to fight and $10m more if he beats him? So $30 million in total? Or minus $10mln because it tarnishes Jake's record versus streamers?

It's actually $10 million to fight, and $10 million extra if he wins. So $20m in total. At least that's what Jake's agent said.

It's easy money for iShowSpeed (at least the fighting part), so I don't see him pulling out.
Jake's team is confident in the fight, and I agree, for iShowSpeed, this is a pretty solid payday especially considering how much hype and attention this fight would attract. If iShowSpeed is serious about the challenge, it would make sense for him to follow through, assuming he’s prepared for the training and commitment required.

To be honest, I won't be surprised if this fight happens because in these exhibition fights, what matters most is that he generates a lot of money thanks to a lot of attention. So when we have a scenario where we have a guy with a lot of followers and also have on the other side a guy who is surprising in the exhibition fights, then we will see the fans of both people wanting to watch this fight and all that both fighters will need to do is fight very seriously because if one of them loses, it won't harm future exhibition fights. For example, if iShowSpeed loses the fight, people won't be shocked by this loss, on the contrary, it's an expected loss. But if iShowSpeed wins, people will be shocked but it also won't harm Jake Paul in future fights. So it's a fight in which both have to win more than they lose regardless of the result of the fight.

Me, personally, I don't think so, but I've seen more outlandish things happen.

The thing is, who is going to watch this match? If I am a guy who is sadistic and savage, I could watch a guy beating mercilessly a newbie who does not know how to box.
Jake Paul cannot be serious on this; he will receive a lot of backlash for lowering the expectation of his followers. Jake Paul should do a rematch with Fury to avenge his loss, and not amateurs like iShowSpeed.
