So your OP said $20 million to fight and $10m more if he beats him? So $30 million in total? Or minus $10mln because it tarnishes Jake's record versus streamers?

It's actually $10 million to fight, and $10 million extra if he wins. So $20m in total. At least that's what Jake's agent said.

It's easy money for iShowSpeed (at least the fighting part), so I don't see him pulling out.

This is pretty surprising, I honestly thought iShowSpeed was too small to even be considered for a fight with Jake Paul. In fact, when he visited the Philippines and sparred with Pacman, I actually thought he’d have an exhibition fight with him afterward. That’s why I even started a thread about it back then.

iShowspeed vs. Manny Pacquiao exhibition fight?

I wouldn’t be completely surprised if this fight actually happens. With the money involved and the buzz it could generate especially with Speed’s massive online following, it could make sense from a business standpoint. Jake Paul has shown that he's willing to fight people from all kinds of backgrounds for the right payoff.

I think the real challenge is whether Speed can make the transition from streaming to professional fighting, which is a lot more complex than just showing up and throwing punches. So, while it's a fun idea to entertain, I'm with you on this one, this match seems unlikely, but who knows with the way things have been going in the fight world recently!

And then iShowSpeed the streamer comes in and says he could beat this guy in a boxing match if he professionally trained for 6 months.

Then Jake Paul's manager offers him $20 million for the fight. $10m of it if he beats Paul.

Do you guys think this match-up will happen?

Ishowspeed is a very funny guy, of which we all know and a popular YouTuber, streamer and internet personality without any form of either former or informal fighting skill in martial arts or combat sports hence, I doubt even if he is given an entire 1yr to train, he still won't be able to win Jake Paul in the fighting ring. Because apart from the fact that Jake Paul just won Mike Tyson in the just concluded fight which ended few days ago, he has won several fights ever since he started his boxing career in 2018 (i.e 6 good years). However, Jake Paul is still a young and vibrant professional MMA boxer with a unique fighting skill, which will take only someone fast and with a unique fighting skill to defeat him, and not someone like Ishowspeed, an internet joker.

Haven't heard of this guy before.
Is he a famous streamer of what exactly? Gaming streams or some notorious things you see these new streamers get clout for on some other platforms?

Only Tommy Fury who was a real boxer has beaten Jake Paul already and actually yesterday has officially announced he will be fighting Darren Till January 18 next year.

So after Jake Paul beat Mike Tyson a few days ago, a bunch of UFC wrestlers offer to beat him up fight him in the ring.

And then iShowSpeed the streamer comes in and says he could beat this guy in a boxing match if he professionally trained for 6 months.

Then Jake Paul's manager offers him $20 million for the fight. $10m of it if he beats Paul.

Do you guys think this match-up will happen?

Me, personally, I don't think so, but I've seen more outlandish things happen.

Nope, this match-up wont happen. Because iShowSpeed is not a professional athlete, not a martial artist and not retired Cheesy What their fight going to be? Exhibition fight? Wasnt Jake interested in professional boxing fights only ? Even if Jake wasnt joking and really is ready to fight iShowSpeed, then in what weigh class it is going to be ? What is iShowSpeed weight it? 70kg or less? In a fight against Tyson, Jake was around 90-95kg. It will take 6 months only for Jake to cut and iShowSpeed to gain to meet somewhere in the middle Cheesy
And Jake's fighting weight is at CW, between 175 lbs - 200 lbs, he just had to bulk up in this fight because Mike Tyson is a Heawyweight and there are no compromise in weight. So I doubt that this is going to be a fair fight even in paper.

Jake Paul will be seen as bully again here.

So just like the rest of us here, I do not think that this is going to happen, regardless of what is the boxing gloves that they are going to used or the size of the ring. If iShowSpeed wants to fight, it might be against Manny Pacquiao as once he had been in the Philippines and visited Manny, so who knows.

In the past few months what I have learned is to never say never. This isn't about the sports anymore but financial gains and popularity and social media followers.

Just like I pitied those who bought tickets to watch Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, I also pity those who would take their hard earned money to every buy tickets to watch two social media influencers fight.

Whatever happened to real fights. Muhammed Ali would be rolling in his grave right now in anger seeing what is about to become of this great sports.

Why not? iShowSpeed is one of the top Youtuber right now, so it's just about time that he will like this kind of action and obviously it's for the show and money.

But if I think that he will beat Jake Paul even with a 6 months training? Nah, I doubt it, even if he trains for about a year, he won't.

And I think he is too small for Jake Paul right now, Jake has developed his body to be a heavyweight boxer now.
