With that it's obvious that this is just another money grab for Conor.

The money maybe is huge for them not to say no; both fighters are liked retired in the fighting scene, and they now commit to fight in a promotion we've never heard before. The fight is not appealing to many, and I'd like to see the undercard to see if there are added attractions.
I believe this is the first promotion of the Indian promoter; he should add more notable names in the card so it will not turn out another money grab fight.

I dont think that Conor really needs money or money is a motivation for him to return to fighting. If he really was in need of money, he would have returned to UFC long time ago. Dont forget that he was really selective for his opponents. He used to say that fighting against him, he allows his opponents to finally earn a lot and become rich. However, if it is really about the money, Logan Paul isnt most attractive media person to fight against. His brother looks better and can attract more audience.

But if you are offered good money to comeback and make a fight, then for sure you will have to say "yes" to that even if you have a lot of money, in my opinion. And Conor has been teasing us for months that he will make a comeback in the UFC.

And this is a perfect opportunity for him, to somewhat motivate himself again to go back to the gym, train be back in shape, fight in India and then have a good paycheck and then maybe later in the year come back in UFC to end his year. I think anyone of the brother can bring and attract audience, and we all know how Conor promotes his fight.

Clearly it isn't about "money" from the fight.  It is about their image.  They do make money off their image though, so losing a fight like this could be detrimental to their future earnings.  I just don't understand why Logan Paul thinks he's a boxer.  He may be roided out and huge, but his fighting skills are terrible.  Whatever happens with this fight, I just hope we see the Paul brothers face off in the ring at some point so Jake can kick Logan's ass and give him a taste of reality.

Yes, obviously this is about the money and whether or not it actually happens is a throw of the dice at this point, but I think this is actually a good way to see if Conor is ready to ever again step into combat sports. If he wins, it will be a good setup for his return to the cage. If he loses, at least he got one more massive payday without risking his life in the octagon.

Yes, probably hitting two birds with one stone. Another paycheck and then he can gauge himself if he still has it, to fight in the cage after this fight. So it's a wise decision for Conor to work this fight and I think he will go with it against Logan Paul.

He still needs to go back in shape again, focus and shift his mindset.

And for this kind of athletes who've seen more money in their lives, sooner or later they will have that itch to get back whoever their opponents it, and be paid with millions again. And India is willing to it's a win-win for Conor.

They can't easily turn down a chance to win big money. Conor will test himself and they will both win money. As you said, it's a win-win situation. It's not easy to get back into shape, but athletes always take a chance on big money.

I won't give an opinion on who will win if the match happens. I think it's too early to make a prediction as the preparation process will have a big impact on the outcome of the match.

Conor will be motivated with that big money. I thought that his alcohol business was a failure, but it was reported

Quote
McGregor’s biggest earner away from fighting has been his alcohol businesses, particularly the Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey he launched in 2018.

In April 2021, the 35-year-old and two other investors sold their stakes in Proper 12 for $600m [£503m] and McGregor became the richest man in sport as a result.

https://talksport.com/mma/1862760/conor-mcgregor-business-empire-net-worth/

And probably that's the reason why he is out for many years from UFC. But then another good opportunity arises for him, this is going to be easy money fight for Conor so I will agree that he will accept this fight in a hearbeat.

With that it's obvious that this is just another money grab for Conor.

Saudi Arabia and Las Vegas are the best place to box now; I can't remember India hosting a big boxing event that draws world-wide attention, but when it comes to money, you can draw the best name, I wonder if Mukesh Ambani will follow the step of HE Turki hosting big boxing events, if this one becomes successful, he will continue to host big events.
Its been a long time since Connor fought; its been over 3 years, There's going to be ring rust, while Logan if I remember, was active in wrestling which is as physical as boxing, so I'll go for Logan he is a better boxer than Connor.

Yes, HE Turki is also the most powerful broker in boxing today, and I would say that every boxing promoter or even UFC is under him. So it doesn't make sense for India to suddenly enter the picture as they are not known to be a boxing nation. However, they have one of the richest person in the world so maybe someone whisper to his ear that why not held a boxing match in the country and show his wealth?

And that could be the only reason why the fight is going to be held in India or if both athlete are going to accept and fight there. I know, as boxing fans, this exhibition fights are getting out of hand. But this rich people are suddenly into it so it's hard to stop from happening. At least though, Saudi hasn't yet into this exhibition match as they are putting great boxing cards like Usyk vs Fury or Bivol and Beterbiev rematch.

Conor McGregor want to make comeback to UFC and actually last year he got his opponent Michael Chandler but i don't know why this fight is postponed and Michael Chandler has decided to fight with other athlete instead of Conor McGregor and rather than thinking comeback to UFC i think exibition match is good for Conor McGregor because at least he can earn money again from this match and if this really happend i think Logan Paul could be the winner of this match and actually whether it Logan Paul and Conor McGregor has been agree with this fight so let see it later whether this fight will be officially announced or this will never happend

UMMM does anyone remember the Mayweather fight? Wait, did you guys just watch Tyson and Jake? You are an absolute moron if you pay to watch this bs fight, it's going to be just as big a joke as the tyson fight. Lot's of stupid rules, more padded gloves, and Conner taking a beating just like he did in the Mayweather fight. Don't waste your money on this bs, the influencer fights are an joke.

its timee nice fight announcement.
At first glance, I think Mc Gregor will lose, there is a clear weight and muscle difference between them.
Mc Gregor is a real fighter, even though he is a lighter weight than Logan Paul. At least, although not yet fully, Mc Gregor was an active UFC fighter until a few years ago.
That's why I can't say Logan Paul will win the match directly.

An UFC fighter going boxing is already decided. McGregor will lose this. Logan Paul has got some body and strength for sure.
But if it's all about entertainment, they're both seriously going to give it to the paying fans.

Yup, this is just for the money and i do think that Logan Paul will win this one since it will be a boxing match. Logan is a better boxer than Conor and he is the bigger man here so i think no problem dealing Conor his lose in this exhibition bout.
It's going to be a scripted match and that's a reality. It won't be an actual fight but only drama to get more and more money from public that watch it and also from the ones who place bets. Such drama type matches will going to be happening after that Mike Tyson's match and we now know better that how they script such drama type matches.

I don't believe it will be a scripted fight.  Both fighters have way too big of an ego for that, along with some personal beef.  If Logan loses then you know Jake is going to want a piece of Conor.  If Conor loses, he might be done forever, or maybe they will agree on an MMA style rematch?  I think that's what the people have always wanted from these fights.  I doubt either fighter would be willing to lose intentionally though.  They both make money through their image, not fighting these days.  A loss would have serious career ramifications.

It's a wonder why Logan would choose India. This country hasn't been a fan of boxing, we're not seeing Indians in the boxing ring and being a champ. There's got to be more than any reason to choose India.

I could believe Conor in an exhibition fight but returning to the octagon after this exhibition will not happen. He would be asking for an unreasonable cut for him to fight which UFC will never approve and he'd be ridiculed all his life once he'd lost a UFC fight.

Pinch me if I am sleeping. Conor, fighting someone, really accepting something, signed contract and fighting? No way. He has been pulling that joke, that fake thing million times already. Almost every month he posts that he is fighting someone, and this time for real. Even his suppose-to-be opponent Michael Chandler got tired of waiting Conor for 2 years and accepted finally other opponent. What I think that due to recent scandal, Conor now accept anything. Some products cancelled him, he wants to move away everyone attention from that rape case, so he is making what he is really good at - talking, and talking loud. But I feel that we wont move from talks to action this time.

I read some articles and McGregor decided to postpone his UFC comeback and chose to fight Logan Paul in boxing event, it would definitely be quite an interesting fight even though it would cause some controversy because Logan Paul himself is an amateur boxer.
McGregor will get the win, maybe he loses in terms of body size but has the advantage in endurance considering McGregor is real fighter and unlike Logan Paul, this exhibition fight provides lot of money for McGregor and that why he made the deal.
News of the fight has spread widely now and as you said it seems like our chances of seeing McGregor return to the octagon are very unlikely, especially since McGregor has previously stated that his comeback fight against Topuria is just a rumour, besides that at this time maybe McGregor, whose contract will soon expire with the UFC, will no longer have the potential to return to the UFC after he resigned against chandler at UFC 303 last June, I think that at this time McGregor glory in the UFC has run out, while the fight against Logan Paul is only as a way for him to make money at this time, the fight even in my opinion will be worse than the fight we have seen between Tyson and Jake Paul, as well as when Logan Paul faced Mayweather previously.

What can you expect? McGregor is already out of his prime and the only thing these famous people to take advantage with their fame and earned money is to set up an exhibition fights. But since this rumored fight has been discussed and this is spreading everywhere then provably that there's huge chance that this fight between Logan Paul would really happen.

I guess they are just playing the minds of people and they want to hype this match up so more people would be curious to watch their fight.

But don't expect to see any good action since maybe we might witness another Tyson 2.0 match especially that both of them is nothing to lose in this fight and they could earn a lot of money in this event.

I would say that this is just normal flow for billionaires, we've seen other losses big amount overtime, even Elon or Mark Z portfolio has this kind of thing. However, they always find ways to make that money back so I do not think that it's going to be a big problem for them.

These rich people hate losing money. When they spend a lot of money on weddings, they don't see it as a loss, but rather as marketing to show off their financial power. But when their company's stocks fall, they feel the pain of loss. And I believe that having lost more than 25% of their net worth in less than 6 months will have caused them pain. Maybe it will take them time to organize the fight because they will have to do a lot of research on the operational costs to organize the fight

If they will have an advantage or disadvantage in the marketing that they can exploit thanks to this fight, will the ticket price give them profit or not, and how many people have the financial power to pay a high ticket price if they set a high price, This fight could be a stage in which it would benefit them or it could cause them destruction.

if it happens it will just be a ridiculous thing done just to speculate on the people who will go there to watch because they are attracted by the show Connor doesn't need to go there and do the show for this reason he is a guy who could really hurt Logan who will certainly risk a lot of more than meeting Mike

Yeah, of course. There’s no issue with marketing this fight since Conor earned an estimated $100 million during his bout with Mayweather... that was the biggest payday of his career as he never made that kind of money in his UFC fights.

As for this upcoming match, even though it could still draw attention, I don’t think he’ll surpass what he earned in the past. Back then, he was at his peak popularity. Now, he’s been inactive for a while.
