Finally there's a set fight for Manny after 2 years. Errol Spence is a decade younger to him and undefeated, I didnt watch his previous fights but being undefeated means you are a good boxer. While Manny is older, but just like what the saying said age is just a number. He's still fit and capable to fight younger boxers and having many experience is his edge to win this fight.

Anyway just 3 months left before this happen, I hope they give us a good fight.

I watch some vlogs on this fight and one of the vlogs I watched says Manny will win against Spence, and these are the factors that will make him win.

1- speed
2-experience
3-ring IQ (technique)...

The only thing that Spence backer says that he will win because he has a young body and he is hungry, they did not think how many championship fights Manny had and his experience is something that will make him outsmart his opponent.

They forgot one thing: Heart.

Manny has been in so many battles in his careers and he is getting better, plus he has the heart of the champion that can really makes the difference. He could be the underdog, but he can still win here by decision. Spence will win some rounds and so is Manny. Gonna be close and the fighter that want it more because they have the bigger heart will have the edge.

I missed that mate, thanks for adding, of course, that's why he is unique.

About the odds, I saw this one, https://en.as.com/en/2021/05/23/other_sports/1621767502_322245.html... and if this is true, I would not hesitate to take it, take a look.

Pacquiao-Spence odds and predictions
Early odds on the bout have Spence at 2/7 and Pacquiao very much the underdog with a price of 5/2.

If there's a bookie that are already offering this game, we can verify, but for now, this is the information we have, and I believe it's worth to share.

Same here, I would not hesitate to take that odds if it's currently offered, however, for me the odds look unrealistic as both fighters are champions and that odds seems has not respected the only 8 division world champion. But anyway, I would not complain if it turns out real.  Grin

I want to believe that Pacquiao still has it, in one of his posts, he believes that he is faster and stronger than Spence, honestly, I don't see it that way, I have seen how dominant Spence on his previous fights and these are top-level fighters, one thing I worry is ring rust, Pacquiao fought two years ago while Spence just recently against Danny Garcia who he dominates, I have not seen Spence being dominated I like Pacquiao to win but in reality, Spence has the edge.

Spence had a better record than Crawford, so I will take this fight as a better one compared to the previously reported that didn't push through. Manny is not afraid to take on any champion, that's what I admire about him and though I have a feeling that he will be an underdog in this fight, I still trust him to win the fight, so I will bet on him.

Spence is a humble opponent too, whatever the outcome of this fight if Spence wins, I would still give that respect to him.

Big fight deserves to gain more revenue, I'm hoping for this one so both will be happy.

Manny wants big fights in the twilight of his career, he wants big money and big names because he still believes he still has what it takes to win in a big fight and Spence is the only one who can give it to him, he is bigger than Crawford and Mickey Garcia but it's also a dangerous fight for Manny Pacquiao if he losses here it could well be the end of his career.

He is pushing his limit, are we not seeing that?

Manny still winning fights, I don't want to back against him as I have won my bets in the past when we thought Manny had no chance against his opponent, and this is not only the first fight that he is an underdog, there are a lot of scenarios but he always proved us wrong anyway.

Both are experienced and it's been 2 years since the last fight with Manny.

Footing experience, this fight should be an easy win for Manny.
I'm for Manny on this fight I wouldn't just ignore the professional record of Spence because he doesn't have a loss and he's got enough experience as well. I wouldn't say that this will be an easy win for Manny but this could also be the same as other matches that he's got before. I'm taking the note that Spence isn't an easy opponent IMHO.
I don't doubt Spence's experience but we compare his experience with Manny not to even talk of how he has taken down well-experienced young fighters with good boxing records. In spite that it has been a long time since Manny fight in the ring, still expect this fight to be an easy win for him.
But not in this time that Manny has long waiting , i wish he had the guts and perseverance to once more win a game.

And also He's Nearing to retirement so wins must remain before that day comes.
It understandable that Spence was named the prime Champion while Manny is coming off a two-year playoff, planning his retirement etc doesn't matter much if a boxer is a fighter by birth which Manny was one of the boxers I know that has the potential and his record can use as proof right from his local fight.

Spence is a great boxer no doubt about that but Manny's experience is His advantage and he might use this to beat once again a much younger Boxer .

Lets admit the fact that Manny is not that Young and His days in boxing is really fading now.

Spence is fresh , Young and Undefeated for sure Manny will have His toughest fight in this one, Imagine that it's been years since he last go up the ring to fight , so His momentum is not that Big  so I assume that His winning rate here is Much lower than those previous .

But the experience is also a great factor in this match. Spencer's boxing style must have  been similar to one of the opponents manny faced before, and I'm pretty sure that Spence haven't face anyone similar to Pacquiao's style.

Though as you've said, maybe winning percentage is lower, but what is the reference for that. Is it 70% win rate before then now lower so it is 50-60% or much lower.

I hope this fight will be no anomaly or whatsoever, just a clear and honest fight by both fighters. since this might be the last time we will see Manny Pacquiao in the ring, I'm sure this fight will be his best and also Spence too. Since it will happen in Vegas, I'm sure this time it will have lots of audiences are cheering since there are lots of people who are already got vaccinated there. This is a historical fight and if you are a fan of such sport, you don't wanna want to miss its live fight whether on TV or on the venue.

Throws some integrity shade on Floyd V Paul too..Floyd fighting Tubers...Manny fighting champions. Nuff said. Smiley Don't get me wrong I love Floyds style too, both great champions, just interesting how the careers have progressed. Its a shame Floyd didn't fight Manny in the era when everyone wanted it...just after  they had both fought Oscar would have been best time from a boxing perspective. The level at with Manny disposed of Oscar was crazy. HE basically retired him. Where as with Floyd V Oscar it was quite close...and that was just a year before Oscar fought Manny.

This is going to be a good fight. Will definitely watch out for this. I hope the two of them will be conditioning properly so that despite their age, especially Manny's, they will both be able to show an explosive fight. I won't be expecting for a KO in this fight though.

I agree that Manny might be the underdog here once the odds are released but there's probably just a little difference and all could change later on as the training continues.

i have the feeling that the underdog here will be pacquiao. and upon checking some opening odds, just read this article , and it seems that pacquiao is indeed the underdog in this match.
now, waiting for crypto bookies to list this match. and let's see how far is the gap of the odds for these 2. if pacquaio will have rigid training like before, he has high chance to win on this match despite of his age. this i believe, is worth to watch in ppv.

Could be good though that Pacquiao will be the underdog here, if I'm not mistaken, he was also the underdog in the start vs Thurman. But as the fight gets closer, there was a swing, putting Pacquiao as the favourite in the last minute. So it might happen here again.

Pacquiao has always been training very hard every fight, that's why he is always in the top form. Perhaps his strength coach might employ different kinds and combination of training to give Manny Pacquiao a better chance to beat Spence.
