We have the same sentiment honestly. I like Donaire to win but I think it's time now for another Filipino to show some spotlight on the world. Donaire will, and not only keep up with Gaballo, but he would also dominate Gaballo as Gaballo does not play good defense so Donaire will find a lot of opportunities to release his power punches. I just hope that Gaballo would survive so we will see more rounds because if he gets careless, that would be the end of the fight and his L will get a mark.

When it comes to defense then Donaire isnt really that good too but in number of experience then he do knows on how to avoid possible counterpunches.The only thing he do lacks now is stamina but when it comes on being technical fighter then i dont really have any doubts
on Donaires capability specially on counter punches.

Gaballo should really watched out for that because if he do make himself careless then he would be finding himsel

Yes, Gaballo needs to add more routine to his training, watch more videos from Donaire's fights and study how Donaire moves when inside the ring.

Everything is needed to be well coordinated if he really aiming to win against this current champ.

Donaire is quick but he will lose in a fighter that he cannot hurt with his counter, so Gaballo has to make sure that he has a strong chin as that is usually the target of Donaire in a fight, I only saw him tired in his previous fight but he really has strong stamina, but he has to improve more as Donaire is a better fighter than Rodriguez.

Yeah, age is just a number.. If you still remember Marquez, he is an older fighter when he beats Manny Pacquiao and I believe he is already 39 years old when he KO a prime Pacquiao, Donaire has the same age, so it's really age is just a number. However, I agree that anything can happen, the previous fight performance does not guarantee that we will see it in a new opponent, it happened many times in boxing so I would not be surprise if Donarie lose this fight.

It will be impossible for anyone that is a fan of boxing to forget Marquez and his four fights with Pacquiao, Marquez was an exceptional fighter and his style matched with Pacquiao perfectly and they produced some of the best fights I have seen above a ring of boxing during the last two decades, their fights were in such a high demand that they fought four times even when in the trilogy Pacquiao was clearly ahead, and to do what he did at his age was without a doubt something really impressive.

It is undeniable that the odds of this upcoming fight between Donaire and Gaballo were mostly favoring to Donaire which I think a crowd favorite because of the good record he has in his boxing career. However, Gaballo is known to have undefeated record and as I can see this fighter has also a good performance in the ring that will going to give a challenging fight to Donaire as well. Probably, let's just enjoy the fight since it is just day away from now in my case I am betting in favor of Donaire.

Why not if you have some spare? Siding to the underdog mostly gives decent odd. We have seen lots of upsets and the chance to happen it again is always there, though Bookies always gives current champ the edge in terms of odd, it showed from the gambling site that favorite belongs to the current title holder.

Like you, if I have some spare I will amount that I can let go easily. Sparing it to Gaballo is not a bad idea. Wink

It's not surprising. We all know from the start that Gaballo will be the underdog so the distribution of odds is not surprising.

As much as I want Donaire to win, I might put a bet on Gaballo this time. It's now time for young ones to take over. I just hope that Inoue still likes to accept a rematch against Donaire if ever the latter will lose on the fight.

Yep, I think the odds are just right, Donaire will be the favorite here obviously, he is the champion and more recognized name that Gaballo.

One thing that is an advantage for Gaballo is that he is not well known at least he has one fight in the US and it doesn't look good for him although he won that fight.
