Watch out for this kid, Curmel Moton, a 17 year old protege of Floyd Mayweather.

He moves like a young Floyd, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoG1nAK_28o. So we will see what the future of his kid will be, he has also been compared to Inoue but he said that he is bigger and stronger than Inoue. Definitely worth someone to wait in the next 5 years and for sure with Floyd as his mentor, he will be a champion.

Didn't catch the fight between Barrios and Ugas, but based from what I read it and I was also a bit surprised that Barrios was able to knock Ugas down twice. And it's a UD decision as all the judges had a wide margin win for Mario Barrios, making him the WBC interim 147 lbs champion.

So it's possible that he might be fighting Crawford who was in the attendance for the regular belt. However, I don't see Crawford want to fight him. It's not that he is afraid of Barrios or what, but he is looking for money fight and he had a rematch with Spence next year already as Spence already activated that clause in the last minute.

Crawford used his advantage as a rematch against Spence is more profitable than fighting Barrios if the organization will attempt to require him.

I think people will also be more interested in seeing the rematch compared to those who will call for Barrios chance in fighting Crawford, the rematch
is expected to be more exciting as Spence already has that idea of how Crawford executes his strategy.

Now, it's time for Spence to surprise Crawford with his new strategy, something that he needed to improve to regain the belts and bring his
name back on top.

Crawford dominated the fight. Not a single round goes to Spence, I don't see Spence does have a way to mandate Crawford to fight him again uless its on their contract to have a rematch clause. Because its a onesided fight, he will have to crawl up again before he could get a rematch if Terrence even agree.

Errol only has one loss though. It would be a waste if he just won't keep fighting.

If you read the reply above me, then you will notice that in the last minute Spence activated his right to ask for the rematch. No schedule
yet and no weight division as well.

Since it's written from the contract that it's Crawfords' right to choose if what weight he wanted to fight if Spence will ask for the rematch, possible
that Crawford will keep the weight inside 147lbs not sure though as there's no update yet.

Crawford will seek for more money and the rematch can give him that amount compared to what other challenger can bring him, and with that
clause which part of the first deal he doesn't have an option but to fight.

The whole microscope is also on Derrick James the trainer, Crawford vs Spence and then now, Canelo vs Charlo. So it's 0-2 for him in championship fights and I see a lot of meme's in social media and questioning his award as trainer of the year.

He didn't motivate Charlo in the corner or give instructions on him. He needs to tell him to throw more punches, however, the trainer couldn't do anything in the ring. And if the fighter didn't respond and so he shouldn't be blame.

Just wondering that Ryan Garcia also change trainer to James after his lost to Tank Davis and there's rumour that he will announced his next opponent in the following week. Maybe he is the bad omen in the gym?  Grin

Anthony Joshua and Ryan Garcia joined Derrick James' stable knowing he's got a unified champion in Errol Spence and an undisputed champion in Jermell Charlo in his gym. But since these two fighters joined James, the flagships of the stable not only lost but were badly beaten by Crawford and Canelo.

Although I believe James knew Charlo's chances against Canelo. The guy is over a year inactive and then moved up two divisions north without a tune-up for Canelo. It was a clear money grab on the part of Charlo who's expected to receive around $5 million in that fight. I believe Jamal tried his best to prepare Charlo but the guy came there to survive and not to win.

Yes, it is absolutely true. In this fight, it definitely looks like he was trying to not get hit instead of hitting his opponent. And his opponent, Canelo, took full advantage of that and actually went really hard. I will say that he did dominate the match. And there was only one winner in this match in the end. For me, the fight between them went exactly as I thought it would. After all, Charlo was not going to win this fight against a fighter like Canelo, especially after having so many disadvantages. I also actually believe that this was definitely a money grab. I can't actually say anything negative about that as well. Because after all the money was good.

It could be like Jermell Charlo might have an idea that he could lose in this fight for sure he has to pick the fight that if he wins or loses he can still get a large amount of profit it is still a win for him win or lose for sure Canelo Alvarez is a big of a deal even though he was defeated by Dmitry Bivol he is still a bigger name for sure in the field of boxing,

Anyone watches the Ugas vs Barriors? I just read that Barrios won already, and get the WBC interim welterweight belt. He is known to be a 140 lbs, moved up to 147 lbs defeated by Keith Thurman.

However, in this fight it was a different Barrios as he was able to knock down Ugas and then dominated the fight. Ugas though, looks sluggish, he had back to back losses already and he is lucky to get this chance to fight for the belt, but it was very clear that the better man won the fight.

I haven't seen that fight yet but it could be an epic fight for sure and seeing that Mario Barrios was younger than Yordenis Ugás could potentially mean that he was at the advantage for sure not only because of his age but also both fighters Physique Mario Barrios now is looking sharp with that kind of body figure now he has changed a lot not only with his speed and maybe on his power aswell, I haven't seen the fight yet but seeing how well build Mario Barrios now makes me think on watching the fight to see for my self how did he manage to take on Ugas,

Jermell Charlo vs Canelo Alvarez

Canelo Alvarez won, it was not really surprising, but sure Canelo Alvarez is a legend in this sport, and seeing him drop Charlo in the 7th round surely Canelo Alvarez's power was there, but seeing that Jermell Charlo got a shot on Canelo Alvarez so many times aswell where Canelo Alvarez wasn't really fazed by it,  for sure Charlo's shot isn't really effective against Alvarez but if that was Bivol it will be a different story but for sure Canelo Alvarez is a legendary Boxer that for sure is proven that he can still take on damage from younger Boxer and for sure Jermell Charlo is not a push over,

If I am not wrong, Barrios was the one who was actually the favorite going into this match. He was supposed to win this fight. But I think he actually underestimated his opponent for some reason. He definitely thought this was going to be a rather easy fight for him. And that's what caused him to lose this fight. To be honest, the performance from his opponent was really good. I did not think Ugas would have a great fight like this. His success and domination in this fight were definitely unexpected for a lot of people including me. And I absolutely agree that the better fighter has actually been able to win this fight. Ugas was better by a mile compared to his opponent.

I agree with most you that Canelo is the superior fighter. He should win this fight…. That being said man those odds seem off. Charlo by decision is a possibility and at +600 its a tremendous opportunity. Charlo is no gatekeeper or journeyman, he is a champ. Canelo is getting up there in age. Its fair to say this will be his last superfight. I saw an interview in Spanish where he was talking about mb doing 3 more fights.l at some point you got to start thinking when does he start falling off a bit…. I don't know if anyone else sees it this way but there is so much value on that prop bet. Anything can happen in a decision…. And i don’t see this fight ending by stoppage.

Charlo is the same age as Canelo so age doesn't matter much. Canelo does have twice as many fights and maybe all that activity and punishment has worn him down more significantly than Charlo. Even a diminished Canelo is still considered one of the best fighters in the world and should be capable enough to win convincingly. Charlo is no pushover but if he's barely able to edge out a win against guys like Harrison and Castano then it's just impossible to see him doing enough to upset Canelo.

Oh canelo is in the one of the greatest of all time conversation not just best fighter in the world now, no doubt. Again im not saying Charlo is the better boxer just making the argument about the odds which now climbed to +600.

You are right, Charlo diid look poorly in those fights but on the rematch he did not barely edge out a win, he destroyed the Argentinian. So who will show up today who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️

Although Crawford dominated Spence on their first fight, we all know that Spence can adjust his tactics so that it can counter Crawford's.  As I watch the fight between Spence and Crawford, I feel like Spence is out of sync.  I do not know if it is because of Crawford's strategy but I guess, it was a different Spence than the usual one that we have seen on their first fight.  So I would not be confident to say that this rematch will have the same ending like before (knocking out Spence).  There is always an upset in boxing so there is still a possibility even a little for Spence to win the rematch.

It was too easy for Crawford, too easy. there's no way he has to turn them down when they ask for a re-match since no one really wants to fight him in the meantime in their weight division. so he sees this fight as easy money for him since this will be a blockbuster fight once again. maybe not as much as the first one but still this won't be like the other fights and Crawford should not underestimate him and give him some opportunity in this upcoming fight rather he should finish him off and make him realize that he really facing the wall of how far he can only go.
I also agree with you, for me Crawford what Spence did was retain his greatest vigilante, the one who cut off his head, because obviously the things when it comes to how to beat Crawford is the first one, Spence can adjust everything he wants, but if he meets in another 6 months, I dare say that Crawford will knock him out in the first round, because if we get to see each other, let's just make a brief recollection. Crawford dominated everything, from the beginning to the end, he had to give a good knockout to Spence, but he didn't use it that way, he wanted to take him to all those rounds just so that he would receive punishment, for him it was better that way because of everything that Spence made him wait for him to his revenge, and because of everything Spence talked about him, Spence believed that he was like a child who was talking to him, and look what they did to him, it's because Crawford had compassion and didn't want to hurt him any more, but it was for It left him worse, 'Spence came out all emaciated, Crawford looks like he hardly even sweated, Crawford's level right now is very high and if he has continued training with the same intensity I think this boxer could be at a level that is very difficult to reach for other Contenders , this has generated a lot of fury, in addition to Crawford's technique, that right hook that he has, I think he can knock out anyone with that blow, it is really something that every boxer has to take care of ,  I would be very Happy with his Right, well One hit from that to anyone sends them to the floor.

I know that now Spence has done badly, with a lot of punishment , for now the adjustments he makes I cannot deny will help him, but Spence needs a lot of time to be Able to train and have a Comparison with Crawford, I would say that he Trains day and night for 1 year, getting up at 4 a.m. to jog, run and hit it hard Every day, maybe that's the level to match it, but now, if he's a boxing Genius his body isn't going to Give it.

Just like most people said, this will be an easy fight for Canelo and he shouldn't be slacking on this one because if he loses the fight, it will be disastrous and shameful for him. imagine losing to a guy who is not that active and came to their weight division just to finish him off. neither both boxers underestimates their opponent but whoever wants to win this fight, better to practice and work hard because this is a lifetime opportunity, especially for Charlo, he should be motivated by being the underdog in this fight.

There's nothing to be ashamed of here; his opponent is also a champion, and we don't know what kind of training he has. Canelo won't be a dominant fighter forever, so in case he loses here, he still has a chance to bounce back as it's never the end for him. The schedule of the fight is very close, and soon the speculation will be over as we will finally see a big fight for Canelo. Well, the majority believes Canelo will win, but this is boxing, and nothing is guaranteed even if he thinks he will easily win.

Nothing is guaranteed indeed, more about how both fighters will prepare for this upcoming fight and how they will execute their
fighting strategy to win against the other.

Bookies again are for Canelo and the majorities will agree to that and odd might be taken or some will take the other options for betting on this schedule fight and will support Canelo either in a KO or by round wins.

We can only speculate, but the result will rely on how they will bring their best while inside the ring.

@yazher this is going to be absolutely disrespectful loss if he does end up losing. I am talking about Canelo. He is also absolutely better on paper. There is no reason for him to lose this fight. And if he, for some reason actually ends up losing, it is going to be really hard to explain. It is actually going to be inexplicable in my opinion. Recently his fighting has not been consistent. That is why I believe some people are actually thinking that he might end up losing. But I don't think that is going to happen because he is going to go into this fight, being really confident, knowing that his opponent does not fight in this weight class. For me personally, I am supporting Canelo. He is just better going into this fight.

Although him going up two weight classes is certainly a thing. Charlo fights below his weight. Did you see the weigh in face off….. by no means did Canelo look like the bigger man. I think the bigger concern is not the weight class but Charlo’s inactivity. Fighting once a year is worrisome, you never know how he will show up. Im going low units on this one but taking the odds on Charlo by decision…. I  think the outcome is probably canelo by decision.

Which is why Canelo is highly favored in this fight. And Charlo is not just moving up 1 division but 2 divisions north. Another thing is Charlo's over a year of inactivity. Normally, stars will take a tune-up fight after a long layoff or when moving up in weight but this one is different. The money is just too hard to refuse so Charlo has to take the challenge.

Charlo might be sluggish in this fight and it spells disaster as he can be easily cornered by Canelo who likes to fight someone who is flat-footed so he can unleash his deadly power punches.

I don't see Canelo underestimating Charlo here, if you see what his answers are in the press conference, he had the same demeanor as his previous fights and he even wanted to engage Charlo. But it seems that Jermell is not going to do trash talk for the first time in his career, perhaps it was the respect on Canelo or simply it was their game plan not to let Canelo gets angry and let him have the feeling that Charlo is just laid back and doesn't have the tools to beat Canelo. But we will see how motivated Charlo is as a underdog here. And he seems to be the bigger guy although it doesn't mean he will have the advantage as Canelo is used to be fighting bigger guys before.
