I did notice some crawler activity, maybe that was slowing it down. Not sure why e.g. "ByteDance" needs to index our site. If this continues I may try to disable some of those crawlers via robots.txt.

The CCP spybot is still attempting to DDOS the site so I have created robots.txt. Not sure if it will respect that. Looks like it's checking the file only once a day or so.

The problem was mainly slow queries that calculate the number of active and inactive users.

That's why I love SQL.   You can always improve performance without throwing more processing power at it.  Smiley

I've made some tweaks that should fix the front page. The problem was mainly slow queries that calculate the number of active and inactive users. Let me know if you're still seeing a blank page.

I haven't been doing anything with the server but I have been seeing the occasional white/blank page being reported on the main page... while all other pages/links will continue to work when this is happening. Seems a little more frequent the past few days, and is currently happening to me again now, maybe another low-level DDoS triggering some sort of protection?
Wasn't the matter temporarily resolved by setting up an index page with a link to enter? Maybe apply the same method this time, at least temporarily.
It is noticeable that the loading of other pages is a bit slower, is everything OK on the hosting side?

I get the same too. Even though I have waited more than 5 minutes and kept some refreshing the page, the white (blank) page still appears.

I tried to open the page on different browsers but got the same blank page.

It does not indicate if it is loading or doing any processing at the backend. I kept it open in one tab and see if it gets loaded automatically.
I will update here if i get anything on the page.

Obviously, there are some interruptions in question, unless the administrators are doing something on the server at this very moment.

I was not doing anything and I don't think ibminer was either. I did notice some crawler activity, maybe that was slowing it down. Not sure why e.g. "ByteDance" needs to index our site. If this continues I may try to disable some of those crawlers via robots.txt.

Positive! The site is now online, even the isitdownrightnow.com website confirms that it is reachable. It looks like it has some temporary interruptions from time to time. What I noticed during the blank page phases is that the results shown by the extension on the forum profile pages seemed still accurate or uninterrupted.

Contrary to my earlier report, the website is now showing a blank page, as reported by other members. Maybe earlier on, I was just lucky to get it when it was temporarily online. I also checked on isitdownrightnow.com and the result was that it is down for everyone

Strange, it works for me now

I remember the day Lauda lost the record of most negative tags, and tagged like 800 accounts in a single day.

LOL!
I am trying to understand how she managed to find so much time within a single day to do all that...

My point being: without checking the accuracy of those Flags, it may give a bad incentive to just Support or Oppose anything without properly understanding.

This is correct... Reading your words and looking back at my question, I see that I asked it while thinking about good faith in my mind, meaning that I considered that those supporting a flag would be ones understanding how the system works and also expressing their support in good faith, not for retaliation purposes... But your words brought my feet back on solid land, to say so...

I don't know if it was a temporary problem or if it was partially solved but this is exactly what is happening to me right now. Also on several different browsers.
It looks like loading, the SSL certificate has been loaded, but everything is blank.
Try loading some other BPIP pages, does that work on your end? I am also seeing a blank white page when loading the homepage, but other pages seem just fine. Here, https://bpip.org/Profile?p=Pmalek, my BPIP profile page. Can you load that? It works on my end. I can also view other user's profile pages but as soon as I click on the BPIP logo to go back to the homepage, it's just blank.

I am currently having issues loading the website: the icon loads on the tab, but the website is a blank whiteboard.
Tried different browsers and different laptops (mobile as well, not Wifi) and I had the same result.

Everything seems to load well on my side as of now. I am not sure if it is just that the issue has been fixed but in case you are still seeing the same problem even by now then there could be some problem on your side.

We had a bit of an issue with the recent patches to the forum "Last Active" timestamp. It should be ok now but please let us know if you see any issues, particularly if you click "Refresh Profile".

Is there anyway to get a list of all active users for three months
See active_last_90_days.txt. I didn't include users who haven't posted in the past 90 days.

Quote
with the date of their registration, the number of messages and merits?
It's probably fastest to scrape those 11711 profiles for this data. It should only take 3 hours.

Is it possible to get statistics with the registration date, the number of messages and awards? As in this example.

Is there anyway to get a list of all active users for three months with the date of their registration, the number of messages and merits? I need this list to launch an unofficial fan token bitcointalk.org, 50% of the supply will be offered to users completely free of charge, depending on their activity.

Where will the other 50% go?

And when you say "Activity", what attributes will you look for?

(I don't want to derail this thread, so I suggest you start a thread in Project Development about this)

I may have phrase the question incorrectly, but my topic has been moved to another section.  Other part should be placed on the DEX.

by supporting flags you give a hand of help in exposing scammers...
I remember the day Lauda lost the record of most negative tags, and tagged like 800 accounts in a single day. My point being: without checking the accuracy of those Flags, it may give a bad incentive to just Support or Oppose anything without properly understanding.

It seems rather irrelevant information, like for example how much red feedback someone left. There have been times when trolls create a meaningless flag to cause unnecessary drama. For example, user Hatch Support created 31 flags, and none of them are active.
https://bpip.org/flaglog.aspx?supporter=Hatch%20Support

Sorry for the off topic. But speaking of flags, I've been looking and haven't found them.
Where can I find more information about how flags work? I wanted to review the information...  Undecided
