Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending
Please don't tell me people on this forum actually believe this? I know reporters are dumb, so she probably believes it herself. But people on this forum should know better.

Are you talking about people who order ASIC-based bitcoin miners based on renderings alone?

Wasn't the first implementation of BitcoinQt written in PHP?

No.  The first version of bitcoin was didn't use QT it was command line only however it was C++.  QT is a C++ library there has never been any version of the "bitcoin client" (later named bitcoin-qt) written in php.

There was a WX front-end when I first got to compiling things IIRC (though I've never compiled a gui at all in any version.)  Written by that guy who later (claimed to have) had like 9000 BTC stolen from his machine.  cdecker?

holy fooooooooooooooooooook! The real Satoshi returns

Hopefully that is the only thing he posts for four more years.  Would just drive the media crazy.

The doxer from Newsweek, Leah McGrath Goodman https://twitter.com/truth_eater

At least she's handling her Twitter account with grace as people chime in.

I don't think she realizes she's poking at a hornets' nest. The bitcoin community is not some pushover and there are people in this community who will make her life difficult is antagonized the wrong way, and messing with the (potential) founder like this is certainly one of them.

Damn straight! Quick, somebody shop a red nose on her pic.

The first one that does it and PMs me wins $10 USD via BTC. That'll teach her not be messin' with us.
She had a pearl necklace when interviewed by Max Keiser  Grin

holy fooooooooooooooooooook! The real Satoshi returns

Looks legit to me.

I think the age in the blog is Satoshi's real age.  38 sounds correct with the C++ language style he uses.

Now of course, Google (who owns ning) now knows where that post came from.

Would have been better is he signed it with his PGP key (or the private key for the coinbase reward in the genesis block Smiley ).

You mean the key for the alert system.   He gave that info to Gavin,  so there's no evidence that its him if he did.

Not the alert key, also IIRC the alert key has been changed.

The genesis block has a coinbase tx.
https://blockchain.info/block/000000000019d6689c085ae165831e934ff763ae46a2a6c172b3f1b60a8ce26f

Satoshi's very first wallet would have the private key for address 1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa.

A message signed with this private key would be the strongest proof possible.   It is the only block which is absolutely known to be mined by satoshi.

Great, Satoshi is an asshole that codes on Bitcoin and you all now know who it is. Luke Dashjr is an asshole that codes on Bitcoin and you've known who he is for years. Who gives a shit. This changes all of your lives how exactly? If I see one more "who's Satoshi" thread I'm gonna puke.

I met Luke in Atlanta. He seems shy and was keeping to himself when I approached him and starting talking to him, wanting him to open up and join conversations oppose to just setting with a box of parts (think it was some sort of miner) on his lap.

I'm very well aware of what you're speaking of, but I'm referencing this reclusive personality. In a way, I like him in good and bad way at the same time, just like I feel about Josh, but for different reason, i.e. I may not trust his business dealings, but would love to be his fishing bud. OTOH, I would have not much use for Mark Karpeles in any capacity.

Consider this:  Satoshi never left the bitcoin forum and has been making posts under different aliases; sitting outside of the circle that he created.  I wonder which one of the current forum members is really Satoshi's pseudonym...

Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending
ARMED AND DANGEROUS 2: http://mrcompletely.blogspot.com.br/2005/07/ruger-mk-i-ruger-mk-ii-mk-iii-ruger.html

"i've bought a used 10" barrel Mk II
earlier this yr. recently, i've
found that the entire barrel and
it's receiver can be turned back
and forth when griped and twisted at the barrel. i can turn like perhaps 1/16 inch arc. i've only shot about 100 rounds or less since purchase.

i havent taken it down since i've heard it's very hard to assemble and disassemble.

any suggestions?
my email: [email protected]"

This no look likey our Satoshi. "when griped" and "i can turn like perhaps" are at least two examples of text that our Satoshi doesn't seem capable of making.

Hell, Dorian's writing style got worst, not better, four years later.

hi!

i vote for underground railing for above project. the project should be done
so the business shops's income from clients would be minimally affected.

good secruity system against usage of rail as a get away means from the low
income
generated theives/criminals from area of east LA et. al must be also put in place
regardless
of the rail passage chosen.

i like the idea of using an economical and modern rail to little tokyo from sierra
madre
gold line station. the parking fee + gasoline costs $10 now to get there from my
home
and i would go there more often with my mother for shoppings.
