Why would it not scale? If scaling becomes paramount for keeping mining revenue flowing, it will definitely scale. The only question is whether or not the scaling will happen in time.

At the moment it doesn't have to scale but what it has to do, is be the backbone of crypto. People should realise that they are trying to tear down the branch they are sitting on. It's not only that all alts are traded in Bitcoin and if Bitcoin price declines, alts price declines too. It's all about perception! Bitcoin is perceived as the representative of Crypto to the outside world, if it fails to early Crypto will be perceived as having failed (even if its hasn't). But often perception is more important than reality.

This pump is not a surprise after what happened recently. This is very classical speculation move in the market. You can easily see that. I think roger and his team going all in to create this panic in the market. It is going to hurt though, very badly. I advise everyone to stay calm and wait. Segwit2x won't be happening on 16th November. It has been suspended and canceled. People who invested on bitcoin, with the hope of getting "free segwit2xbitcoin" are now dumping their bitcoins and moving to alt coins, which explains the price crash of bitcoin and rise in alt coins.

Only if the fiat is invested elsewhere. Holding fiat without letting it grow is literally the worst thing you could ever possibly do with your money. Even burning it would be better, as long as you uploaded it on Youtube for the ad revenue...

Don't know what to say.
But i personally think Bitcoin is the only real one.
Some guys are moving to bitcoin cash but that doesn't mean bitcoin is dead.
If that bitcoin has died before.
So in my opinion bitcoin will go even harder.
And Bitcoin cash price also might go higher.
