No . btc isnt popular anymore because being popular does not stay for a long time . we are also tired of the same old thing , thats why we look forward for another one ( new one ) . as of now , many coins have been created and many of them are now shining .
If favoritism is being asked , well id say btc is the favorite and will remain the favorite of most users no matter how long the btc could run . its because its cool . the value is high and it can be used for multi purposes .

i wouldnt bet on that, the continous centrism on bitcoin might destroy the entire system bitcoin altogether, and will make the bitcoiners look like shady capitalists.
I don't think so, bitcoin although has the biggest share in the market but it's normal since it was the first to get popular. The money of the people who profitable during the rise were transferred to altcoins and this makes us now a big and growing crypto market.

Bitcoin is popular for two different reasons, the first one is because it is the mother of all crypto and it started crypto and MOST people admires its capability to work as a decentralized. The second one is because the government is seeing bitcoin as a threat and is really threaten by it due to its influence to the majority of the population and their fiat currency is being boycotted by the people and it fvcking hurts them. Government is mad because they are losing their ability to manipulate people because obviously people have woken up and is ready to do what they wanted to do

Agree! Bitcoin has survived many challenges in the past like price crashes, harsh critics, and numerous FUDs that's been trying to discredit the top coin. At present, the price of the bitcoin is still in declining situation after last year's bearish performance but I believe on its ability to bounce back. There is a possibility that bitcoin may take time before it reach another all-time high but it worth waiting for it.

I totally do agree with the fact that bitcoin remains the most popular cryptocurrency. Even with the low price of bitcoin as compared to its price in the last quarter of the year 2017, it still remain the cryptocurrency with the highest price.

There is no question of its market capitalization cause it have already since early existence of bitcoin. But the people were now so much concern of its price stability and when it back to rise. We are mentally affected of such ATH occurance last 2017 and until now people are expecting it to happen again. Do we really need to answer this?by looking in market capitalization we can easily find how bitcoin overpowering the whole market,and sitting at more than %50 isn’t this enough reason to believe the popularity of bitcoin is still on track?Unless the market turns against bitcoin and bring the cap for atleast below 25% in favor for btc then thats another story to tell.but so far bitcoin still the most popular cryptocurrency from 10years ago and forward

Exactly! Bitcoin will always be king, and from the many cryptos now in the market, nothing from there can dethrone it. It just amazing how bitcoin captivates the heart of many and dominates the market despite its massive crash for such a long time now. Had it been other coin or token, it would be abolished by now. But surprisingly, it remained resilient through the solid support of the crypto community. It only goes to show that contrary to what other people believe, bitcoin is not yet over, and even if it falls even harder in the coming months, I guess people would still want to accumulate more of it.
