I definitely support bitcoin, the price of etherium is very low and continues to decline . Bitcoin price is stable and will start to rise soon

As per coinmarketcap, it's still the top coin for this year and not showing any signs of going down.
Ethereum is the closest coin to bitcoin but it will never dethrone the number one coin, bitcoin. Not in the next five years. Maybe if it goes beyond that, no one can really tell what will happen. ETH or any coin will never beat bitcoin's popularity!

The Ethereum now has very sweet prices. I'm sure that even if the Ethereum is still falling in price, it will grow very well with time. Today the Ethereum is the best altcoyin.
I think both cooperate and will develop. By and by, I figure this year would be NEO and ETH year and I think both are protected speculation for long haul, I'll include BTC if lighting btc being outstanding amongst other coins since I accept despite the fact that btc is as of now encountering a noteworthy decay it is just transitory and won't keep going long. btc will be one of the coins that has great cost and most grounded in cryptographic money right now. so picking btc is right now a decent choice.solves every one of the issues confronting BTC right now.

Btc for sure dont just know the problem of eth and why is not growing despite the way all ico make you of it which makes demand high yet its still not growing. so am given it to btc.
in the year 2018 is I believe that ethereum winner or superior bitcoin. However, after seeing that the price declines continued to ethereum, bitcoin I think still can defend as best in this year.
I think Ethereum is going to rise but I do not believe it can rule crypto like bitcoin. But maybe it can be better option to invest your money in ethereum this year. It has a growth potential. Actually I like both of them.

I would definitely go with ethereum in 2018 and this price around 300$ almost steal i dont think it will go lower than this in the near future.
of course the one who will be the winner remains bitcoin because the king of altcoin and is very influential on the market price, of course there is no doubt, we see the ethreum price is currently very apprehensive because of a drastic decline, I can only hope that altcoin will soon recover the price.

Attracting investors to the market will significantly increase the cost of bitcoin and give it even more liquidity, which in turn will lead to reasonable trading in the market without risks. 
I'm sure a thousand percent percent that this year the main coin will be bitcoin. Perhaps someday Ethereum will be able to become a king, but certainly not this year. The fact that bitcoin capitalization is much more than Ethereum and quickly reduce this gap will not work. This year the main bitcoin.
I also believe that Bitcoin is the main coin, despite the price drop and poor forecasts for future. I still believe in this crypto and believe that BTC is our future. ETH is a good coin but this year they both didn't show their best. Bitcoin or Ethereum, Which of these coins will rule in 2018?
I think both are good pickes right. But ETH has a lot more room to grow imho.

Its not about the competition any coin is getting, since this thread is about BTC and ETH so I will compare these 2 coins only.
1. BTC address is case sensitive, ETH is not, so ETH are more comfortable to transfer.
2. Most of the projects are ERC20 based now a days, so making ETH a stronger coin to invest.
3. BTC may be getting benefit of old coin but ETH is giving tough competition in popularity to BTC.
4. ETH transaction is way faster than BTC.
5. Many exchanges are ETH based only, not accepting BTC but exchanges accepting BTC are accepting ETH as well.

I want to vote for new coin. Example: HT, NEO. I saw in this year, both BTC and ETH are weaker
Yeah, they didn't perform as well as we hoped, but they are still top coins, although ETH faces strong competition from NEO and Cardano. 
I do not think that you need to choose between bitcoin and ether. These are the two main coins on the crypto market and I believe that they both should be in the investment crypto portfolio. I hope that market will turn up very soon.
