Ethereum is a potential coin in the future and potentially a competitor Bitcoin but Bitcoin is a giant in the crypto world so its position is very strong in my opinion in 2018 Bitcoin still lead the market,
both are good investments in 2018. but btc for sure. it will rise for sure. now is a good time to buy. price is at 13k$

Both coins very good, are the known fact. Earlier I gave preference to BTC, but now I make the choice for ETH. In my opinion ETH became same stable as BTC recently. But I consider that ETH more interesting project for investments. The technology of a blockchain of ETH is used practically in all projects. Therefore I choose ETH.
As for me Bitcoin is better for investment. But you should not keep all your money except you can buy other coins like ETH, EOS, Tron and others.
I equally agree with you both BTC and ETH is going a long way this 2018 though btc might be giving difficulties this time but never the less it's still have good value, most especially the ETH is doing big this year and it rises with days now. Time to invest.
