Yes, Bitcoin or Etham, coins will rule in 2018. Many people believe in bitcoin because its value is so much higher, also many investors are going to invest because of the belief they can get much profit.
I have this believe that the both bitcoin and Ethereum will actually do well this year 2018. But much believe in ethereum than that of bitcoin is what am having. Both are worth holding in one's portfolio as a serious mooning can occur at anytime on any of the two or even both at the same time.
Bitcoin of course) For the next couple of years no crypto currency other than it can take 1 place on the market. I am more than sure of this. 
I believe that, they can reach better popularities and prices in the future again, so, I think it can be really good to consider about both for a long term holding.
We know that Bitcoin and Etherum are the best coins today, they are ranked top in the popularity of cryptocurrencies. so it will make us comfortable to invest, besides both have shown a good progress in the year 2017 and now we also still feel the good prospect owned by both.

Now the price of both coins is growing. And it seems to me better not to risk and invest in both coins.
ETH is a good option. It's useful, reputable and stable. Investors are moving to ETH instead of the volatile Bitcoin
The number always for me is Bitcoin. It will take years to over take bitcoin because but there are some numbers of alternative coins that can really surpass BTC which ETH the second digital currency and the most flexible currency among the altcoins.
well, I voted for ethereum in this year, most of a good project in this year was lead by coins based on ERC-20
Yes, Bitcoin or Etham, coins will rule in 2018. I think Bittouin will still rule in 2018. Many people believe in bitcoin because its value is so much higher, also many investors are going to invest because of the belief they can get much profit. But if think ethereum is also good coin to hold because in all cryptocurrency, it is the most popular altcoin and higher value than the others. i still hold Bitcoin 
If honestly it is a very difficult choice. But most likely I will invest in Ethereum today, not in bitcoin, at least because its technical characteristics are more modern and better at the moment than the characteristics of bitcoin
If you are going to invest in these two coins only then I would suggest you to split your investment in two parts like 50-50 and invest in both of these coins because both the coins have great future and they would be profitable in the long term investment as Bitcoin being the pioneer in the cryptocurrency market and ethereum has many use cases so both of these coins are here to stay in fact they are the future of cryptocurrency world so you should invest in both of them.
Ethereum has a lots of room for growth and ethereum will definitely surprises us all when it will begin to rise in value that will shake the whole cryptocurrency. Ethereum has not started been successful yet!

in my opinion for now bitcoin will lead, while ethereum will only follow bitcoin only, from all altcoin no one will beat bitcoin, everything is lost by bitcoin ... 
The year 2018 was very unfortunate for both coins. The price has fallen very much and this has led to losses. But I hope that in 2019 we will see a real bullish rally.

throughout 2018, I always buy eth in stages and I think the price is stable and not too volatile like bitcoin, though it is still beyond my expectation so far this year
