Well, it's also likely that $ 5000 will happen this year. We can not underestimate the development of the bitcoin that is currently occurring. Today is so big a rise in bitcoin, some even speculate that this year bitcoin prices can only reach $ 3000, but in fact it exceeds.
That is pretty possible to happen. Everybody expected doubling of bitcoin's price after SegWit, yes, there were those who predicted death of it, but in any case even if doubling didn't happen the price get raised and hired it's maximum few days after. I hope something like this will be repeated after the next SegWit on November. I think this time it is going to be less panic and speculators will have to create something new to make people sell to hit up the price.
Yes this could easily happen this year and most likely at least by next year. With the price already at $3400, we are 68% of the way there already. Even if the price goes up slowly, it will eventually rise to that price eventually. I think we just need to be patient because it has risen so much this year that we don't know when it will get to that point.

To me that seems to be too soon, while that may look like a good prediction based on the fact there are more than 4 months left the truth is that much time can also play against you, for example bitcoin cash is still there, I do not think it is going to last more than a month but if it does some money may go out of bitcoin and into bitcoin cash, so as you see things are not so simple. I think it can be.

Bitcoin price is very active and it continue rising. So I think it will reach this year upto$5000 but we all know price is volatile and it is possible to reach at that price.
Anything is possible with bitcoins and no one expected that it will cross $3k price this early so I am hoping that price will touch $5000 in this year and I am holding my coins so that I can sell when it hits that price to gain maximum profits.
Majority of people before's knows bitcoin for having a cheap price and some of them doesn't believe that the price of it would go far as for todays price and theirs only few people been lucky to buy when the price is at the beginning of it, And for now anything has a chance a might we would gonna see some major uplift to the price of bitcoins since theirs no doubt that the adoption of bitcoins are pretty much going more wider.
Exactly the adoption is increasing day by day and that we can see with the increase in the price of bitcoins and it will continue to rise in future which will take price to unexpected levels and there would be no surprise if we see $5k price in this year.

People were hoping to see the price of $3000 at the end of the year but it crossed that level in month of August so looking at the speedy growth of bitcoins I am sure that it will hit $5000 price in the end of the year or before that for sure.
That is possible scenario but the price could be also stay around 3300$ to 3500$ for a while. I know that everyone now expects that bitcoin continue to rise constantly and reach 5000$ in no time but that depends on many things on the market so it might also happen that bitcoin price remains "stable" for some period of time.

Bitcoin’s value surpassed the $3K zone to an all-time high of $3340 across global exchanges. And today the price reach $3400, so it's possible to continue rise to $5000 in this year.
If you look at the statistics At what rates Bitcoin has reached its price of $ 3,400, then you can see that for the year Bitcoin has risen by 3000 dollars, and to be precise it is 2 600. Thus, we can conclude that if we want to see 5000 dollars, then For this you need not so much time.Just don't get too excited to reach $5000. There are still a lot of room before touching it. I guess we need to overcome $3500 first. Right now the price has dip to $3300 to a high as $3450 today. So resistance has not started and we don't know if we can hold the $3300 price. The possibility to reach $5000 is there. But we have to wait for maybe a couple of months or before the end of the year But I believed that we can get it. Just need a little patience on our side and not too jumpy or excited early.

That would be very exciting to reach $5,000 and completely possible imo not sure about it getting there by December though. Once it hits 5K I don't believe 10K will be so far away tbh. it's not impossible, but if we can image, why don't we predict the price will go $18000 in the end of this year?
Lol this is insane bitcoin price has the a great future and potential to become that price but not in the year of 2018 maybe it will took many years before it will become more that we cna oredict it but its really impossible if bitcoin price will become in demand and company will accept bitcoin as there business then maybe demand will be increase.

Let's not be assuming for us not to get hurt in the end. Many people say that Bitcoin will reach its value up to $5000 at the end of this year but it has no assurance. Let just be positive and hope that it will happen. A ppsitive mind can create a positive outcome.
The $5,000 prediction was supposed to have been met between June and July. At least, that was what I heard on radio in February this year. Since it still hasn't been met till now means that the forecast has failed already and has dragged longer than necessary.
