i think currently the price of bitcoin is trading too much stable and still there are too much potential in the price of bitcoin and therefore people are still too much confident about bitcoin trading and they therefore still involving money in bitcoin i think very soon bitcoin will be the main currency of the people and they will be using it for shopping and so many other purposes.

If you look at the combined price of BTC + BCH, it has shot up post the split. There is nothing stable about this.
People have made real money.

Whether bitcoin would reach 5000$ value or not this year one thing is for sure, bitcoin is going there. Regardless of the time it will happen. Maybe the sure thing this year is that bitcoin will hit 3000$ - 4000$ so brace yourselves. Hold!

True and I never doubt that prices will skyrocket quickly and I'm sure this August the price will reach $ 4200 and the end of the year will reach $ 7500.

For me, the risk is what makes everything fun and encouraging people to just put their coins in their wallet is not the right way to go because it means everyone should just see bitcoin as a store of value and wake up in 3 years to become rich which in most cases not going to happen. I feel active participation is what is needed to get to that point and with the right combination of decisions the mark can be quite achieved quickly and even beyond the ceiling of $5000.

So far bitcoin price did not disappoint on rising part, and i hope it will continue to do so. For years price has been rising, and it will continue to do so. Will it come to price of 5000 dollars till the end of this year... i doubt it. More realistic price would be steady 3500 dollars till end of this year. But i would be happy if it would go above. Cheesy

Who knows that bitcoin will cross up to 5000$ this December? It's not bad to dream about it but letting the others hoping for it to happen is not so good because they might expect a lot. Bitcoin will still be the popular coin with the highest price rates so it is not possible to happen

Bitcoin definitely has the potential to even cross $5000 by this year end but now it also depends on how the support is got for BCC.If BCC performs well,then BTC might have to face some problems in reaching such high prices.We would have to just wait for one more week and watch how the situation changes.

neither do i because i see that for reaching the price $3,5xx, we need more people to increase the price. maybe we need next year until the price is reach $4,xxx and then we can reach $5xxx. its still a long journey for bitcoin to reach that price because now, there is BCH that is waiting to be increase too like bitcoin.

This is all unexpected, bitcoin prices can survive and stable when the hardfork process has been completed. This is certainly good news because bitcoin and bitcoin cash can run successfully. Bitcoin will still be the popular coin with the highest price rates and BCH will be an altcoin that will have very good value. Bitcoin prices could reach 5000USD by the end of this year.

If SW is successfully activated later this month then i really don't see any reason why it can't be $5000 by the end of the year. The momentum is definitely in bitcoin's favour, with the price currently at $2700 even after the split which is surprisingly high in my opinion.

Of course it's all speculation, everything can go wrong or some whale just wants to get out of the market for some liquidity. It's definitely not guaranteed, but i think that we have a real chance here.

i think it can be possible we can reach upto $5xxx in this year but we could see how will the price move after the 1st august. maybe the price can increase or the price can decrease and no one know or predicted about this. but for long term goals, I think we can reach upto $5000 but we don't know the time.

Ya true. It possible to happen.Today price is 2716$ of bitcoin equalent to dollar. It may take 2-3 year to reach that value. At this year end the price may reach to 3250$ .Next year price may crossed 4000$ and after two years, the price may crossed 5000$.

i think that the day is not too much far away that bitcoin price will be trading above 5000$. i think that we have a very good chance to trading bitcoin below 2700$ because those people who are waiting for the price to fell down bleow 2000$ they are just waisting their time and they are not going to get anything from bitcoin.
