You can now exchange Bitcoin 2 at Crex24. Bitcoin 2 just got listed there.
This is an important first step. Now we can start applying for coinmarketcap and similar listings and start doing other marketing before getting a major exchange listing.
At last we will now seeing BTC2 graph on the market now, Great job to the team! We'll hope for the best to this project!

Hi! So many great news. Thanks to team for your job! Tell me please how to install the new wallet version? What should I do with the old one?

Just download the newest .zip/tar.gz file and copy the executable files in the bin folder to replace the ones you had installed already.
Don't delete anything but feel free to overwrite the .exe files.

That's great, thank you! That doc can't be accessed without your permission however.
Sorry @jackleszz, I opened the access.

Alright the guide on the website now links to the translation.

Is this: "Pyccкaя вepcия - пepeвeдeнo вoлoнтepoм"
The correct translation for: "Russian version - Translated by a volunteer" ?

If you want, we'll put your name or nick name there instead of "volunteer".

This is not actually the first fork, there's a lot of fork launched in the market, like Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold etc but compare to this fork it's a mileage because of the innovation of the features of btc2 you can see the image below the comparison of Bitcoin2 comapare to it's competitors..

Based on the given infographics, it seems that Bitcoin 2 has many competitive specifications which might it to successful compete with other current potential competitors in the crypto market as well as future competitors.

That's right, and that is the reason why I become an avid follower, holder and fan of this project. I hope it will listed on exchange this 3Q I will going to buy more, for sure when it landed on the market the price is very affordable to buy.  Wink

If everyone here saw the scope of this project, they will surely never rejected it, the first Bitcoin Fork that has it's own decentralize exchange is a milestone in blockchain technology, kudos to the team with a brilliant idea to improve Bitcoin thru this fork.
It is the point, main point which makes Bitcoin2 different and more potentially from other forks from bitcoin.
Bitcoin 2 is the first fork from bitcoin, which will have its own built decentralised exchange.

Also anonymous coin zBTC2 and dandelion protocol and the team will have the perfect mixer?

True, some of the technical details aren't yet finalized.
Yes that's the idea that your Bitcoin 2 Core wallet would then be able to handle Bitcoins as well.
It's very promising to know that the Bitcoin2 project will have a decentralized exchange.
KOMODO, which has a BarteDEX, on their own platform experienced significant rises of KOMODO price after BarteDEX released.
Waiting for Bitcoin 2 DEX.

I'm curious, the exchange in the wallet is planned for what kind of coins? Only for bitcoin or others(etherium, monero etc), too?

To be determined, but possibly others too.
Interestingly, can you tell us more about decentralized exchange? On the site, I did not see the information.

Essentially it is an anonymous exchange accessible initially only with the Bitcoin 2 Core wallets but maybe also by web wallets and third party wallets in the future. You'll be exchanging zBTC2 to BTC and vice versa. (Possibly other crypto currencies too.)
You'll be able to keep your coins safe in your own wallet instead of having to send them to some exchange in order to trade.
Sorry Dev, but zBTC2 to BTC2 is not an exchange. As I understand this is not a conversion, conversion is when I can exchange BTC2 for another coin.

I never said zBTC2 to BTC2. Of course that's not an exchange. I said zBTC2 to BTC. Smiley
Sorry, I misunderstood, but there is very little information about decentralized exchange. In the wallet bitcoin2 I can store bitcoin?

This is my overall comparisons and review with the latest release of wallet compare to the old one, in the old one i got so many bugs and orphan minted coin, but in this release, it runs smoothly and I stake regularly.. Great job to the Dev Team!!

Thanks john and heidim for the feedback. I'm surprised that 1/3 of nodes are still staking with the old 2.1.0 version. New version makes a difference in efficiency in most cases.

Are you planning to release another new version of wallet, or are we gonna stick with this version for a while? We are waiting for the android/IOS wallet too. Smiley

Our next Core wallet release will probably be the one with major new features. Most likely will take more than a month.

We didn't update the road map image yet with this new idea but we aim to release web wallets (that can be used by mobile phones) in a month instead of mobile app wallets. Since the mobile app ones wouldn't be able to stake anyway and thus aren't yet high priority.

nice to see a bitcoin fork that does pos. can someone tell what is the roi per annum for btc2? and since this is a btc fork, do we need to download the whole bitcoin blockchain in order to stake?

You can find the ROI here: https://www.bitc2.org/#roi

Yes you need to download the blockchain in order to stake, but it is only less than 1.5 GB because it was pruned.

thanks for the info, the site provided answers to my many questions. the site also gives me more information than my possible questions. so the correct procedure is to install the wallet, import address thru bitcoin private key, then stake.  staking earns 177% while masternode earns 1168%, but requires 1000 btc2.

That is correct. Both numbers change over the course of one year of course.
Creating a masternode also requires a VPS or a server with a static IP address. More info here.
