Hey everyone,
there's a 'working draft' of the white paper available. If you're not on Slack already, please sign up and take a look in the whitepaper channel.
I'm looking for pretty robust feedback - I want this to be as useful a document as possible. It's necessarily technical, but I don't want it to be needlessly so - whilst still explaining everything it needs to.
Keep it constructive, but I have a fairly thick skin so don't hold back.
From a marketing perspective it may make sense to have a different doc - or a series of docs - but this is a starting point for confidence in BTCD/SuperNET's tech.

Could you post a link to slack channel?

Smiley I don't think there's a correlation between those 2 things

Lol, I agree.  I've been watching the stake closely and figured it was a great opportunity to provide an update Wink.  Just like it is now.... we're all over the place with stake weight

I've been noticing something over the past week or so.... really since the huge dump of last week.  The bots on bittrex are no longer walking the price up, as they were previous to the last big dump.

Normally, if you put an order in at the top of the book, a bot would immediately drop an order above it.  After experimenting, I've found it can take a couple hours instead of a couple seconds for this to happen

I hope this makes sense........ would anyone like to comment?  I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this Huh

EDIT: .....and rising 254,735

that must mean there is quite a bit moving around?

I am up for accepting BTCD for this offer.  I think this is the first set of Star Wars Stormtrooper Armour to ever be offered in crypto.  Smiley

https://github.com/jl777/btcd

I pushed a SuperNET_mac.zip that has a standalone Mac build. It wont automatically connect to the network but should at least function and allow you to manually ping and try out API commands.

Need to unzip into your home directory and also make a SuperNET.conf file, so definitely not user friendly, but a start

You guys see the orderbook on Trex?    I can see all the way to the highest price queued.   Great job everyone is HODLing.   Price is as high as 2 BTC.
We believe in James!
I am learning Linux & Networking to help testing for this long project.
BTW, can anyone recommend good, free courses/books about that?
Thanks!

2003 3rd edition of "Unix Power Tools" I received it a few days ago.  I have only read 20 odd pages but now know about shells and how they communicate with the kernel.  Smiley

James, in regards to the email you sent Kristov Atlas last week..... did you receive a response from Mr. Atlas?  Does he now have a better understanding of the tech you're implementing?  Very curious about this.....

Thanks in advance!!
yes and hopefully
when I am done coding the bulk of thing, I can concentrate on documenting it
