Wow, the network weight is only like 52K.   There must be a lot of less people staking, or either they have their coins on the on the exchanges.

45k now, including my weight. Saw your message and opened up my laptop to stake Smiley

do you earn more when the network stake is lower?

You should only stake faster but the amount is still 5% per year.
though you will get more transactions fees and compound interest - so in the end you will get more

Very wonderful progress being made! Thanks, as ever, James.
I'd love to know the motives of the dumper.

I think this is a fundamental difference between SuperNET and BlockNET: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9313526
Please feel free to chip in to whatever discussion results. I just can't see how BlockNET will compare from a revenue-generation point of view.

There is an odd silence in the BlockNET thread about this... I will bump it again in the morning if I don't get an answer, though I suspect things are going on in the background.

Great point you bring up here Cassius!  Your question is definitely getting some play in the Blocknet forum now.  I've seen many asking for clarity and have NOT seen any answers which clearly explain a direct answer to the qustion.  Very slick Mister!  Wink

Peace

they've answered, the guy puts on like his smart, but always lies regarding how SuperNET works in comparisons. Guess is the price drop in XC show's not many people really on board with the clone.

After going through the XC devs' more recent posts, I feel they lack the ability or smarts to manage something that huge (from a financial and economical standpoint).  In my opinion, that's one of the major differences between Supernet and Blocknet.  James has a very firm understanding of all this stuff in addition to his coding ability.  It's even hard to tell if XC devs can pull it off from a developmental standpoint since they are currently closed source and no one can check the progress being made.  Yet another major difference.

 Smiley Thanks
In the BTT thread or a separate forum?
We'll see where this goes. I'd think they will aim to bring in some sources of greater revenue to make it more attractive.

Ok guys i have some btcd held on cryptsy saying "held or orders"  what does that mean?  can you guys plz help. thanks
If I understand your question correctly...

It means you currently have those coins tied up in an active [Sell] order.  More than likely you have your BTCD wallet configured to [Auto-Sell] I suspect.

Simply go to the Cryptsy BTC/BTCD trading pair (market ID: 256) and cancel whatever standing order you have.

thanks for the reply nwfella. ya got it figured out.  yes it was on auto sell and then i changed that.  thanks again
My pleasure.  Glad it was something simple Wink

James any thoughts on side chains and its effect on supernet, Nxt, btcd? Do you see it in competition with or change anything your doing?

who is at the forefront of building "side chains"? or, where is a good source to learn more?
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/sidechains-bitcoin-2-0-revolution-highlights-reddit-ama/

I guess supernet would still connect all these chains together and allow cross chain trading and all the other magic supernet allows for.

it is still so new, not even sure what sort of marketshare it will get
of course if it becomes significant we will need to figure out what to do
in general any advancement in crypto is good for SuperNET
