It's all happening!!!  NXT is on the rise across all exchanges.... peeps trying to save their 5%.  Glad i purchased NXT early Smiley

So, if this trend continues throughout the IPO, it may very well be more beneficial to wait until the end of the IPO to purchase SuperNET tokens, depending on the ROI of NXT during this time period.  This is going to be interesting, no doubt Cool

why the end? isn't there a daily bonus, decreasing each day... or is that no longer?

Sure, but if BTCD or NXT skyrockets, it's going to be me way more worth, than those 5% bonus + discount Wink

I have a few questions about shortBTCD
OK, I understand that if BTCD goes down by 10%, shortBTCD goes up by 10%
If lets say I have 10BTCD what is the equivalent of this in shortBTCD in order to receive for example the -10% loss of BTCD ?

Is shortBTCD in an exchange? Where do I sell/buy/trade it?

To buy it for the first time, do I have to send NXT ?

ShortBTCD is traded on the NXT asset exchange.  Its current target price is just over 80 Nxt (based on BTCD/BTC at an average price of 0.01086 as I type).  With Nxt at 0.000635 BTC, each ShortBTCD would therefore be worth about 0.005 BTC at the moment.  If you wanted to hedge 10 BTCD (~0.1 BTC), then, you'd need about 20 ShortBTCD.

Of course these calculations change as BTCD/BTC and NXT/BTC fluctuate (which they're both doing at the moment).

Edit: Also, please make sure you understand the calculation methodology for the intraday and daily price changes before buying.  The asset tracks the inverse daily percentage gain, which mathematically can diverge from the aggregate inverse percentage gain over time. Details at the discussion thread.

OK, things are more clear now.
Where is the NXT asset exchange?
thanks

Within the downloadable client (NXT.org) or head to secureae.com for the browser version.
Thanks ! ! !

what happened to the whole avoiding voice recognition thing? they gonna put a darth vadar filter on your mike? : -)

Maybe it's just me, but I found the "darth vader filter" reference to be extremely funny.  The mental picture is equally amusing, I nearly spit my coffee out Cheesy.  Nice one threecats!!!

So which of you whales has decided to suppress the BTCD price rise with that 14 BTC sell order at 0.0111?  I am SO tempted to buy it just to piss them off.

You should... that isn't a suppression it's a profit taker...
Once he's gone well see if anyone else wants to sell

Looks like some other whale just did that Smiley

Was this paper posted yesterday, I see the date is 9/3......completely missed it

James may have used his time machine to ask an earlier version of himself to debug Teleport while he went for a latte.

Also there were a couple of iterations with minor refinements, plus some antisocial hours worked and different timezones, so the date I put on it may not match when it was posted in your timezone.
we are not supposed to call it a time machine.
the proper term is time displacement field, that way you dont offend the snot kittens that power it

Im curious what will happen if I buy 1 BTC into that .011 wall.
Let me transfer some funds, stand by.

EDIT : 09/05/2014 08:46:04   09/05/2014 08:46:03   Buy   0.01110000   90.00000000   90.00000000   0.01109998   1.00149588

Wall is still there, I think it's just a guy wanting to take profits and not an artificial barrier, well I helped him with that Smiley and I say a sincere thank you for the opportunity to still buy in relative quantity at this price.

I got a feeling that diminishing wall is our last stop before an epic breakout.
