For those of you interested in running on wifi, the following worked well for me. I'm running 3 at 930gh/s without issue:

How to add dhcp and wifi compatibility to your raspberry pi image (Tested with $9 edimax wifi adapter):

1) Plug in Ethernet cord and SSH into your raspberry pi

2) Run the following command to open the network interface config in nano (or use vim if you are a bit nerdier)

Code:
sudo nano /etc/network/interfaces

3) Modify the contents of the file as follows(ctrl-x then Y to save):

Code:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
iface eth0 inet dhcp

auto wlan0
allow-hotplug wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
wpa-ssid "YOUR_WIFI_SSID_HERE"
wpa-psk "YOUR_WIFI_WPA_PASSWORD_HERE"

4) Power off your pi

Code:
sudo poweroff

5) Remove ethernet cord

6) Start Raspberry pi and use your router config or an application like angryip to scan for the RPi's new address.

Great help there Smiley
P.S. We just had a firmware which enabled DHCP. You can get it at http://pan.baidu.com/s/1i3yxvfR

Got one of two today (damn you, ups!) but I'm pretty happy with it! Granted I had already set up the Pi and the power supply but I had the thing up and running in 15 minutes! Easiest setup of a miner ever.

Literally plugged everything in, powered on - and was running strong.

I'm using a power supply with 4 6-pins on 2 branches so I don't think I'll have a wiring issue.

Thanks, it's nice from you, we use a lot of cables type, but none of AWG are from copper (mix of silver and steel), we do in lab voltage overload test, I'll ask them about results.

lurking through the factory I founded the 150°C one Smiley

ASIC Wannabe

CrazyGuy - Yes, I used 4 molex adapter and 2 molex branches .

jimmothy - Besause my i-tec Ultimate Gamer 900W Advance PSU, stops immediately after few second on PCI-e (do not know why, but the same thing happened when I plug the PCI-e in KNC board), I do not understand what's the matter Sad

those splitters are absolute garbage. Ive seen too many where the '18awg' actually has far thinner wire cores.

This is what happens when you use adapters with thin wires unable to carry a load. notice this is an 8pin ATX to 6pin PCIe adapter that burnt up under 200w load, probably only a 22awg wire at best. it even melted into a nearby fan wire. If i didnt see the fire break out it may have ended badly.

The facts should be obvious:
1) PCIe has 3x 12V wires, each safe for about 50W on cheaper wiring. When you use the 2x molex splitters you only get 2x 12v wires, with additional cable length to create resistance and voltage drop.
2) if you connect multiple molex splitters onto the same molex daisy chain you will be putting the COMBINED power through a single 12V molex wire, and almost surely burn it.
3) buy a PSU with enough connectors, or use quality 6-pin PCIe splitters.

I sell 6" PCIe splitters like in my photo that are 18awg and that i have tested to be capable of powering 130W per arm (260W at the female end) without any thermal concerns. Check my signature if interested, because those molex ones are CRAP - DO NOT USE MOLEX SPLITTERS

Thanks, but I still don't get why the 900W on 2 PCIe, for 2 boards, stops working after 1 minute, even when I change settings and click "Save" it stops the power supply immediately Angry not mentioned, I do see in setup just setting for 3 pools instead 4

Don't cut corners and buy cheap PSU's, your problem is purely that your PSU is crap.
I do not think in China they use better "crap"

Ok That 's not very important  Tongue

I hope that you have new more successful miners in the study and that we are soon going to discover it

Sorry to say that but I think that's not a good PSU.
Invest in a new one because miners running all the day you may have fire in your house if your PSU is dangerous.

What about this adapter ?

Why they do not send " sets of 6 pin to 2 pin converter"  ?

I wouldn't recommend it. That's only marginally better than what you are doing now. Every time you split a cable, you are putting twice the load on the original cable.

Hi everyone,
BTCGarden have a minor change on BTCGarden-AM-V1. Miner of our new batch will contain 4 boards fix in one case.
We will sell only two kind of hash rate. 616GH/s and 1.2TH/s. These have been update on our website www.btcgarden.com.
$520 for 1 miner (4 boards) with 1 Rpi. 616GH/s. $0.85/GHs. 648W.
$1020 for 2 miners (8 boards) with 1 Rpi. 1.2TH/s. $0.85/GHs. 1296W.
New batch will come with black and blue boards. We will ship randomly in colors. They work the same.

I don't know this trade mark I-Tec but I found it on the web and the price is very low. I'm not sure that's a good PSU.
I prefer invest in a good one like  "Alimentation PC Corsair CS750 Series Modulaire - 750W"

http://prntscr.com/435wxr

@Madsusies I think the problem is the PSU not the adapter, be carefull to continue to use it
