I think most everyone had high hopes for the Gen 3 AM chips. What happened to the supposed awesome power efficiency? Are these being overclocked too hard and destroying efficiency because they're trying to save money by not using more chips?

You just come out of hibernation? Its been more than a month since we got the news AM chips came in underspec. (still equal spec with the competition)
However the price of AM powered machines beat everything else on the market.

bitmain have seriously failed on many counts with their S2.. and you hope to 'make the best effort' to compete with them?
i'm sorry but cheap rigs with unsafe components are not what this world needs anymore.. we have moved on.

We have used these plugs for 6 months at our mining room and have no accident.

eeek, ugly looking S1 clones, really... does the world need more shitty blades?
and.. how long will these ones be mined with, before they are shipped to customers, this time around?
i've got a stack of old gen shitty garden blades in a cupboard somewhere.. they did not return anywhere near my investment and all they are good for is heating the house in wintertime.
talk about flogging a dead horse
ADD: the power inlet molex plugs are a serious fire hazard, i'd have though BTCGArden would have realised how unsafe this method of powering a mining rig, actually is.
be warned, your house is likely to go up in flames if you use these blades (talking from experience).

Yea, their R-Box offering is pretty inefficient for it's size also. 1.37 W/GH at max numbers.
Looks like the new Asicminer chips aren't all that it was cracked up to be.
