When I think about it I'm still surprised that those competitions weren't more popular. More than nice prizes, the conditions were never more straightforward, it was only necessary to spin the slots and share some bigger wins. Yes, that's the issue.

Something more sustainable would be a membership module that tracks activity on your site, and the activity can be whatever you want it to be. Comments on existing casinos, operator review requests on a bullet-board or just plain website feedback. The better the activity of a certain user is, the more do they get from the membership. Maybe a point system with rewards or something, but now we're entering extra dev work + building a community around the brand is always a hard thing to do.

I like the idea generally and I know affiliate sites that went this route, successfully... at the same time, as csmiami stated, indeed a whole lot of work to be put in and even more time needed to "market" this and actually get people to "doing" it. Still, I have always had something like that in mind for the FAR future. Wink

There are actually some review sites who do try to get that kind of recognition and consideration but did failed in the end because it didnt really get that much attention and die or wither away on a specific period of time.
