Hello everyone,
sorry, it`s been a while since last visiting the forum... you wouldn`t imagine how busy times we have had but I am back, hopefully for good.
Only seeing this now, will check the topic - thanks for letting me know. Since I tend to have some forum "off-times", whenever anything major happens that needs our/my attention, you guys are more than welcome to email me directly, so we can try to help.
Metaspins has gambling license from Curacao. They have some kind of KYC rules and you have mentioned it in the detailed review too. But, why you written "KYC - NO" in the info part of Metaspins review?
I wanted to echo this as well, the requirements of the Curacao license is to have KYC, you can play around with the amounts when it's triggered, but there has to be a KYC.
Huge fan of BTCGosu btw, spoke with the team a few weeks ago and just now discovered this thread
Thank you very much for the kind words, I appreciate that.
Regarding Curacao... yeah, I guess it is all said... of course "legally" each and every brand would have to ask KYC no matter what... This is a subject that us crypto guys could talk about forever, we hate KYC... interestingly, and funnily, classic fiat online casino users on the other hand even blame casinos that are not enforcing KYC, for security/safety/responsible gambling reasons etc. Crazy world, no?
Many casinos have a Curacao license and many of them do not require KYC, it's not like it's mandatory in every casino with a Curacao license.
Every casino should have the KYC and AML policy to get the gambling license from Curacao operators. But most of them don't make the KYC policy mandatory for every user. In the Metaspins review, efialtis has mentioned that they don't request for KYC. He has added this information as Metaspins management informed him about it. But their terms says a different thing. And you won't have the option to deny their terms if they request for the KYC documents.
@efialtis, What is the progress of BTCGOSU mediation center?
Very good question, I can tell that we are making progress but it is still unfinished - had some "issues" with the website in general from a technical perspective that needed attention... I will put some more focus on this so we get it live asap.
Just an idea....is it possible to integrate Trustpilot on BTCGOSU? I think this would take the ranking system to the next level.
Personally, I am also taking a look at trustpilot when I am about to use a service by a company I have not known, and even in the gambling space, taking a look can make sense. As babygun stated though, one should not "overrate" it. About integrating it on BTCGOSU, I do not think it would make such a big difference really.
For now, our review ratings are based on our own experience (95%) and some other factors I have never disclosed before, ie after finishing our review process and giving casino X a rating, we also check certain industry-leading review sites and take their ratings into account (to a very low degree but still, it gets into account - funnily, many times we highly disagree but that is often because they simply aren`t in the crypto field particularly and have other focuses).
Edit: Our ratings are now being "revamped" so there might be some huge fluctuations for the time being, will be fixed shortly.
