why would you pay him when customers are complaining he is scamming them
Duuuuuuuuuuuude     ....     ..    .

Well obviously nobody is that stupid. Looks like he transferred money before agath's revelations, and that's just the screen shot he had saved for confirmation number etc.

Btcminers signed his very first post GibbyD. If those photos are correct, guess he had something to do with Gibby's Donuts in Lebanon.. Tongue

Try and find domain history about www.peermining.us as well? Not sure how to do that.

I'm in for $212 dollars.

Not a huge amount, but I have a vested interest.

I'll keep up with this thread.  Has anyone considered testing this address by mailing him?

I dumped 0.46 BTC into this.

Unless I drive my van from Portugal to KnC pickup location in the other corner of Europe, I'm definitely out of direct Bitcoin mining.

Use Coinbase Account almosanywhere with Shift card
good idea but i'm sure he will never use that name account again, and is probably logged in with another account reading every post we make.
We need to get the mods put a scammer flag on him. Turns the coins into red Xs and SCAMMER instead of Sr. Member

---EDIT---

Went to scammer board and made a new thread apart from the unpaid loan.

That way when someone sees the OP it will then have scammer marked on it. just in case some see OP and wants to buy without reading to the end

Lol coinbase is probably dealing with tons of people who put in buy orders at $1k+ and after the 3 days it takes for the transaction to clear ( With the current price under $700) their trying to cancel orders.... LOL. At least the $30k plus he stole from us is only worth about 20k now (If he didn't dump)....
Coinbase responded with a "we are overwhelmed with the volume of support emails, and have not been able to get to this one"... Or something to that effect. Replied back to that they needed to look into it still.

Tried to get by the police station today, but work was spread out such that I couldn't leave for a while. Going to try again tomorrow but may have to wait until Monday. Not sure if there will be detectives there on the weekend, and I was told specifically to insist on talking to one, even if someone else took the complaint.

Once something like this is likely a scam someone needs to edit the label/title..

If a noob comes and reads only the first page they may buy in. not everyone will read the 17 pages.

I was going to buy, luckily I read entire topics Smiley
I agree, I added my purchase to his trust and that put him to -5. Hopefully that will deter.

Just got done doing some minor demolition, going to have to put this off until morning, not walking into a police station in my current need-a-shower condition...lol I'll probably end up having to explain the normal..."WTF is a Bitcoin?" for 45 minutes before getting to the actual complaint. Wink

I just spoke with the Lebanon IN. Police dept. They said that the way it works is that I/we have to file the complaint locally, with MY/OUR local police dept., and they would then contact the police there in Lebanon IN.

I will be doing this once I close up the store for the day, in a couple hours.

Count me in, Slightly harder as I live in UK but more than happy to make calls/emails etc
Same situation here. I am a bit limited on the phone calls but if you need any information, emails or anything just ask.

Thank you, beat me to it.  I will be doing the same.

FYI on the civil front we would need to have the vast majoirty of the group involved, or his lawyers could try and invoke "Failure to join" as a defense.  Basically saying not enough of us were agreeing it was a scam.  He also said potentially he could ask the court to let him represent us even though he doesn't have an Indiana law license.  He would need to petition for the right to as a one off.  But that's a ways down the road.  Let's start with the police reports.

By "local" you mean his local authorities yes? In Lebanon IN.

For the record I sent an email to the hosting company too.

I spoke with a lawyer yesterday.  He said the first thing he urges us to do it contact law enforcement in the local area and file a complaint.  Some places require you to file an official witnessed letter, some will take it over the phone.  I have not contacted his local police department yet myself but plan to tomorrow.  There are several civil suit actions we can also take but the very first thing we should do is pursue a criminal complaint for outright theft.
