I'm first to say that this pool operator is a scammer. He didn't pay the bitcoins for a week and he is not answering any questions.

hmmm....    Not exactly   he didn't make any money, quite the opposite. He had to pay a couple of hundred btc
from his pocket to pay.   So he isn't a scammer. He possibly just made some bad decisions and maybe
something has happened to him and the pool is running on its own for now.

We will wait and see

Well, I know that this pool owes me some coins atm, but I also know that the admin did suffer obvious losses due to early bad luck. If he is not paying, it's most likely that he just can't atm, not that he is just holding funds that is available. But he's not around... so I can't just keep defending him based on past experiences..   Undecided

I just hope that he can recover and continue to operate the pool because it certainly is one of the best option for pps there is out there.

I really like this pool, I will come back once he clear my pending payout, the guy just have a new baby a few weeks ago, I understand and hope he will response soon, the only thing I am concern is his btc buffers for the pps miner, if the round is exceed over certain amount of shares he have pay out of his pocket, just hope this block of hell end soon.

I like it too and I remember how hard a new baby is   BUT for the people that use the pool its also ( or sometimes only ) about the money.
The BTC buffer for PPS is a big problem but he said he was willing to take the risk for a few blocks.
All we want is some communication....

As far as I know, He does all the payments manually.
Kind of weird that newer payments went through and older ones didnt.

seems everyone is bailing out on the pool because of lack of payment and lack of info.

This pool operator have been good with communication in the past, though he has not been on lately. I am definitely giving this operator a benefit of a doubt, but for now I did stop mining there also. I did send a pm to the operator yesterday, but no response yet. I really like their pps pool and hope that I can come back mining with btcpool24.

Also want to note that payment was processed for me on the 6th automatically after a request, but not for the one on the 1st which is still pending status. This kinda shows that maybe there was some type of hiccup with bitcoind and the backend back on 1st? Just guessing but that seems to be the common issue generally with payouts. If the pool operator was trying to skip on payments, there is no reason that payouts requested later would get processed like it did when the previous ones are still pending status imo.

Would be nice to get some response from the man himself tho..

2.7M is 50% more than 1.8M  so its 50% loss in revenue on the PP.   And this round so far is over 2.2M 2.4M 2.6M 3M 3.25 3.4M 4M!  4.6 Sad
True , 6 rounds is nothing in statistics... but it still hurts Smiley

When will this pool have some good ( or even standard ) luck ?
And NO, getting a 110K round after an almost 2M round that was INVALID  doesn't count Smiley

2m rounds are considered standard at 1.8 million difficulty. A "typical" block will be found after 1806098 shares.

Btcpool24 is quite 50/50, it has 3 longer high percentile rounds and 2 that fall in the average frame (and one very lucky at 100k shares).

This pool averages out at 2.7m per round which is a bit higher than usual (overall pool luck 50% negative), but that will even out in the long term.
6 blocks is a very, very small sample.

e- yes, 50%
