Margin trading allows you to make money even when you are seeing a coin getting shorted down, but the margin level is fixed and it is lower compared to leverage trading but still, a chance is there to make money through margin trading is by shorting a coin when you know that it is overbought and the situation demands a correction.

If it is literally earning something then it is obviously bull run, because of course due to its price. But when you're gonna ask the overall picture if you can earn even in bearish market then yes, absolutely. It is the cue to take opportunities to buy more coins that you love to hodl. These two trends kinda have the most effect to long-term hodlers/traders as they wait for such trend reversal always as they take the opportunity to buy at dips then sell at peak.
Personally me, I am kinda slow to react at bearish market because of the mindset of a possibility for "more" opportunities.
Yes. When bearish comes, there are more opportunities to buy cheap but potential coins and hold them for long. And when bull season arrives, it's the best time to sell your coins because definitely their prices are already expensive and you can sell them in higher prices too which will give you huge profits in return. Bull season is the most awaited moment for all bitcoiners particularly for those long term holders.

I think it's not the coins that you love to hold but instead a coins that you know it will give you a profit in the long run. A long-term investment coins just like Bitcoin with its halving coming on this May people are expecting a lot from it. But the real bull market that they are waiting will not gonna happen yet after the halving, ut may take some time.

There is a bull and bear market. In which market is it hypothetically possible to make more money? In which of these two markets do people usually make a profit? And how to determine the beginning and end of one of the markets?

In making profit, i'd say the both works together as when you buy low during the dip,  you can easily sell high when the bull set in..  However,  when there is a bull run every coins/token do seems to be on the rise and at whatever point you buy,  it will surely increase in value giving out profits.

About knowing when either bull or a dip will happen,  i think the market has already shown us since 2018 that there isn't a viable means to determine that. A lot of people have been giving calls over the years about when the bull will come but the bull seems to be taking longer with each passing day. After all, i think the adage that goes - "A person who knows the day the market will be favourable will surely know the day when Death will come knocking on the door" is true Afterall

That's the billion dollar question, isn't it? If people knew exactly when the beginning or end of either bull or bear market was more and more people would not complain about the market being so volatile. The reality is, however, that one can only predict when these happen and that doesn't necessarily mean that they get it correct either because there are a lot of factors some of which are clear and some which are not, that determine which way the market goes.

As when do traders make most profit, well I say it all depends on the trader and how they trade as such it's very difficult to say precisely but often I tend to have better days during bull market.

you can use technical analysis or other analysis and you can also based on other factors like news  , forum speculation and simillar to these to be able to aid you decide if you think the market is going to be bull or bear  .

if your asking if what modes are hard to make more cash , obviously it would be bear but it makes easy for us to buy   .  you cant still make more money if the coins wont dump because how can you buy more ? not unless if your only working and being paid on cryptos   .

The news factor has not been working since the beginning of 2018. More precisely, it cannot be called effective.

In extremely rare cases, you can see the pump of a local coin, for example TRON, as part of news events or announcements.
Global news events, as a rule, are always associated with speculation directly in the market itself.

To make lots of money of course when the market is bullish but to do that it would be better for you to make long-term investments, because even when you buy when the market is bearish and then it is very clear if you want to get a bigger profit, then hold it until the market is bullish is one choice you have to make. But on the other hand there are many active traders and basically they don't always wait for a bullish market to make a profit, because they can take advantage of every movement that occurs in the market so that it allows them to get profit even though the market is in a bearish condition.
I think the bearish market is really good for profit but not everyone is confident enough to choose to trade during this time because it is risky and can cost you money if you make a mistake. In the past, I have tried this trading method and made a lot of profits.
Bearish market is not good for profit, instead you should've said it is good to start and make profit. Although trades are risky during that time, I prefer not to trade one that moment and just buy and buy everything that is potentially profit gainer in the next month. Bearish market is my favorite phase of the market since it is the longest phase of the market and I can ready my funds before entering the bullish era.

However, being greedy made me lose a lot of money here and that could be considered the biggest mistake of my life.
Too bad for you, when my greed takes over me I always try not look at my portfolio and just wait for a long time and avoid blaming of myself.

What happens is that not everyone has a speculative culture of the market, in many they do not care in which direction the market is heading, downward or upward, they are always in the right direction, sometimes some traders are speculators but combine their feelings towards investment and many times this causes them to lose important movements, especially when they are bearish movements.

Meehn, you don’t have to be told that the most profit comes during the bulls time, especially for traders that are trading on a long term. Imagine when you invest in bitcoin, Ethereum or any other coin at the lowest and decide to Hodl and after sometime there happens to be a bull run?

You’re going to be making lots of profit. Just like the bull we have seen in the past few months. After a big fall starting from 2018, the prices later recovered and I know for sure that there are people that were able to make profit all this while. Even short term traders are making more profit during bull run.

If you know how to deal with every market situation, both bear and the bullish market will be profitable for you. Taking advantage of every situation will be an opportunity to earn especially if you're applying the basic strategy which is to buy low and to sell high. However, it's hard to recognize whether it's bull or bear so you have to be more observant and continue to learn how to deal with the market flow.
Yes, both situation either bullish or bear is profitable however the chances during bear market are slim even you try to observe and predict the movement hard. As for the basic strategy with the buy low and sell high is not that effective when it is bear market, so tendency would be your capital will be stucked and might not used to emergency situation unless you decide to let go of your loss. The best strategy for the market is the long term holding, or whenever the coin doubled its value.

I think we both need this two kind of market to be able to earn. Traders do often say "Buy Low, Sell high". Based on my understanding we buy coins when it is a bear market then we sell those coins during the bull market. In addition, in my own experience I can easily saved in bear market. But still has to wait bull market to earn.

In Binance there's a bull and bear tokens it's a leverage tokens where in if you buy a bear token and the price goes down the price of the bear token will 3x increase which is very profitable but if you have bought the bullish token and the price goes down the value of the bullish token will drop 3x which is very dangerous.

So it depends on the trader anyone can earn from a bullish and bearish market it's just a matter of strategy.

That depends. There are people who trade short term and there are long term traders. During the bear trend you know that the price starts to go down and assuming you invested for a long term before the price starts to fall you’re going to be losing a percentage of your money.

At that time the price is falling there are still some up and downs, it doesn’t just go straight down, and that’s how short term traders are able to make their profit. They make their profit no matter the market condition, whether bull or bear, because they take advantage of those little up and down movement that I have mentioned, they trade within short time and they keep repeating it and by the end of the day they made good profit. As for long term or those who Hodl, you’re mainly going to benefit when the price is on bull.

I think bear market is more profitable because this is the time when I can buy a lot of cheap coins and if luckier I can make very high profits if the market enters the period increased . I always watch this market every day and always set the price to buy because this year can be the year when all altcoins can reach new ATH if the altcoin season comes back again.

Recent situation was making it so hard to obtain a sustainable value, because more people played buy and sell of their crypto asset on trading. Mostly, is more eager to earn quickly without even thinking the huge potential of each coins that they're holding. With that motives, it doesn't give any good outcome but a sudden market fall back. Bull market has been frustrating, and yet bear still rule over right now.
Sorry, I have to quote this aspect just so I address it. I think the issue isn't necessarily that traders or investors want to sell too quick. People are scared that most tokens and projects are shitty and can dump at any moment. This is sadly true, anyway. I write from experience. So, they want to get in and out real quick to avoid bagholding worthless tokens.

The bull market will be the way to make more money because all of the prices can increase to a higher rate, and if there is a coin that is at a low price, it will surely increase. The bull market will be the best time for people to make a profit, and they already buy so many coins and amounts for each coin, so when the bull market comes, people can sell their coins to make a profit.

It is difficult to determine the beginning and end of the bull and the bear market. If the green candle comes to the market, it doesn't mean that the bull market begins. That will be the same as the red candle, but you can make your profit when the green candle comes so you can have a chance to sell your coins at a high price.
