I think this is a bull run, we all witness the amazing rise of the bitcoin price in a very short period of time, and we all know that we are from the very huge dip.

I'm with you, I am also seeing the current trend as a bull run, not a bull trap.
The recent decrease of price cannot be identified as an action for the bull trap, the correction happen, some people sell but we are still here at a good price.
We will be back up soon, and that will prove that the bull run is really here now.

We need to make  trust and learn from the past few years, because bitcoin really didn't fall into zero value. We need to make a decision based on the past experience, i still believe that in crypto patience is really important.
One year is enough to experience and understand how the price of bitcoin move, it's bullish now, so it should end on a bullish way.
Last year's complete bear run happens, so we should be optimistic at this year.

I'm really confused, I want to know if it's time to cash in or to cash out, suffered lots of losses last year
both the thing are possible but the confusion is going on my mind also like you but mostly I think getting into the cryptocurrency will always useful for the future that's why I suggest you to invest now it is the best way more than getting out from the field.

I won't go long in this post, keep it short and simple to make it easily understandable to any average trader here:
Lol, that was not really a short post. Thank you and I really understand the whole content of your short post. Cheesy

Well, we have a different interpretation of bull run and or even a trap and you're right it is being nice that you include your Summary and Conclusions. For me, nothing who can predict the market what is really happening in the next coming days. If that Bullrun happens then we could say yes, but if that bull trap we can also wait and hold our investment because that is not going to expire. In short, no one knows what will happen so don't conclude that is a bull trap.

I won't go long in this post, keep it short and simple to make it easily understandable to any average trader here:

Summary:

BTC was stable at $6.5k a few months ago and then it suddenly dumped to $3.1k we called as a serious correction there. Nobody actually understood the theory behind and just started off moaning like they lost this and that. Come on, it's trading and there are 95 to lose for those 5 who make it. After this, BTC started back showing some greens nowadays (which already took it over 2x) as there are a lot of great news and technical signs going hand-in-hand. But the current dump showed that bears can still take control any time as they know that with leverage, they can make much more with lesser price of BTC than going for long.

Conclusion:

To what I've noticed so far, BTC is still amidst the play between the bulls and bears but looks relatively bearish over bullish, so I guess that even if it's not a bull trap, there's still much room for BTC to get back down for some time before it actually explodes to some unbelievable levels (some which we already touched and the next ones will be above ATH). People will get one last chance to get that cheap BTC and I suggest that if you didn't buy BTC when it was playing between $3 - 4k range, it's better to stay away and wait for the correct entry point than buying it for such a expensive price tag currently.

To cash out at 8000$?! Don't hurry so much man!
It's not the top for bitcoin yet and soon you may regret about lost possible profit.
I truly believe bitcoin will come back on 20000$ sooner or later and for my taste it's perfect price to cash out.
That's what I'm actually planing to do. I'm going to be totally satisfied, even if the price will continue to grow.
Taking profits at $8000 and buying back at the current price of $7058 could have been a wise trading decision and I know many traders has done this already.  Making profits from cryptocurrencies market take some smartness and skilkfulness and therefore I don't see any much thing in complete holding.

No one can really answer it out yet every each one of us here on this crypto market are just pure speculators or do simply keep
on guessing on what would be the price on next minute/hour/day/month/year.If you do able to take profits or simply sell on above 8k price
then that was the best time yet we have dumped again on 7k level so that's already an ensured profit.

Bitcoin is indeed experiencing a good increase, but I see today it is difficult to continue the increase and I think many people sell their bitcoin because of the benefits they have made. As you are experiencing, you just choose which one is the best.

I strongly feel that there is gonna be a bullrun this year, but for now for the day traders this would be a bulltrap if they don't be careful...

I'm thinking also this present bull can be a trap with the way we have sudden drop in price. Today's drop I think is the second time since this month run. I saw price drop from $8200 , down to $7,220, this is a very huge margin. I'm still wondering the next move now.
of course when you see the price fall from 8200$ to 7000$ at this moment, then it is a bull trap, we are so easy to be get FUDs from whales and too easy to follow FOMO, this is can be a bad news for investors buy too late, but this is a good chance for us to buy at a cheap price, i still have a believe that the dump will soon end and the a uptrend will come very soon.

That's a big question mate?
Every time will be a trap especially when we are in the wrong timing or in the wrong choice of coins to trade. Our market today isn't in the good start but it eventually moving forward before the start of the 2nd quarter. It keeps on rallying but I've never known what it happens today when it drops unexpectedly.

If you look at the real volumes of good exchanges, and not into the kitchen, you will see that they are very small relative to such growth. This means that someone is winding up volumes and trying to raise the price of Bitcoin. But the correction is inevitable and maybe it will be very deep.

I guess that he is a bit too late to sell his bitcoin because if he sells right now, his profit will not bigger than before. We know that the bitcoin price has already touched more than $8k, and that is the best price for him to sell bitcoin. But if he is late to sell at that price, he could still sell it right now while the price is at $7k. Or he can wait for a while until the price can increase again at $8k.

We're not sure about this It might be a bull trap if we're going to refer the current market status to the last bull market which also have a bull trap before the real bull pump but it might be a new path and not like the last path so it might be a real bull today.

It depends on us if we're going to take risk in order to earn or be afraid today and regret in the future?

Set how much profit you want from your investment and cash out when you reach it. You should avoid getting greedy and wait for the top price because no one can tell you exactly when will that happen. Always base your actions on your goals.

With the current price movement, I believe it's a bear trap.
The market was down for over a year and there are no chances of market going any lower. The market had been preparing for a bull run for over a year now and the current fall in price is probably a bear trap before a long bull run.

Nobody can make the decision for you, it depends on your term of investing and how good you can analyse the market situation to make short term trade, if your aim is long term then just buy and hold it, but if you are aiming for short term maybe you need to wait for the dip a while, this fast rapidly rising will have the pullback effect

Let's hope that it is a bull run not just another bull trap .
The investors or trader has already suffered too much from the crash events from the past.
But I think this is just a correction and after this we would experience another slow price increase.
