I'm really confused, I want to know if it's time to cash in or to cash out, suffered lots of losses last year
If you already profit, cash out is good to do. Especially if you losses a lot when price really make a lot of people suffer. But if me i keep hold because i think this is really bull run and not only bull trap.

Right. The fact that this run is sustained this long and the correction of roughly 1k the other day didn't drag the market down, i don't think this is any trap anymore. If it is then there should have been massive selloffs instead of the price recovering quickly back to 8k. If you're in profit then go ahead, it's always ok to cash out when you're in profit. But i think we're just at the start of good year.

I think it's a pretty tough choice right now. It is unclear how bitcoin will behave further. As far as I know, the market always goes against the crowd, so if you see everyone saying that bitcoin will grow, it means that it is likely to fall. And vice versa. Of course, this is not a reliable sign, but still there is some truth in this.

I think currently the market is not in a bull trap phase, it is rather an accumulation phase. We are slowly heading towards the bull phase. We may see some corrections on this way, but if anyone is really wanted to invest in bitcoin, then he should buy something on every correction and in the end he would have accumulated  a good amount of bitcoin.

Major decline has happened today, bitcoin is down over 10% already and I hope this is not a result of the bull trap.

7 days low is $6280 and high was $8300, so this could just be a correction since we got good increase for the past 7 days.
Bitcoin today down below $7000 but I'm glad it's back to over $7K now.

Hopefully the dumpers are done, let's see from here if there will be a bounce back uptrend.
Usually a higher dip is been experienced before the graph sky reaches. It is something which was been expected by a lot of peoples including me and I individually bought some more coins at the dip so it does not really matter me know. The price is surely going to reach moon and so I will hold in any market conditions.

The dumpers tried their best but could not make the price for bitcoins reach bottom so now let's see how high the price for bitcoins would be taken by the big whales. Huge bounce can be expected as if the price reaches a good dip, the big whales fill in their pockets which is a good sign for all of us as it would take the price for bitcoins to the moon.

There is a bounce today, bitcoin is up 7% as we speak. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/
And, we are close to $8K, so I don't think we will not breach this price again and once we breach this, price action that is uptrend might continue.
We have 11 days to complete this month, I highly believe it's possible to reach at laest $9,000 since $10,000 is not likely to happen.

Correct, was surprised to see the price goes on a spike. Last time I checked before I go to bed the price is just around $7300 and then when I woke up, it's $7700 and now $7900. I think we will have this run up to $8400 again before making another healthy correction.

So let's see how it goes, I'm sure everyone is happy waking up to see the price climbing back to $8 once more.

IMHO bull run has not started yet and current pumps are just show off by the crypto traders. A bull trap is originated to combine the traders with an idea of uptrend bias. Prices are not stable so it is not the right time to go all in by the risk lovers.

I just recently exited a trade I had, and now, like you, I'm wondering should I go long or short?
In my opinion, if you want to continue to make a profit, choose a short trade but a small profit, rather than having to choose a long trade that is still gray.
I think, now the market bears the right time to trade.

I am more inclined to believe that bitcoin will still fall down before it grows. Of course you don't have to believe me, it's just my humble opinion. But I think we need to wait a little longer.

Indeed, in recent weeks the price of bitcoin is rising, but I also don't know it will later become a bull or bull trap, but now I see it is possible if this is a bull run.
I think the increase in the price of bitcoin is not like a trap, but the increase in the price of bitcoin is due to the influence of the good news that makes the demand for bitcoin prices soar.
It's more of the news now that affects the price, due to BAKKT recent news and today since no other no news update regarding the the price seems to decline.

I don't think it was bull trap. But may be big whales are playing around it. Actually no one can say exactly what will happen. In my opinion you might use stop loss if you are worried about loss. That's your fund and you have to decide what you will do. We just describe our opinions. Overall market trend isn't bad and you might wait few days before sold your coin.

We didn't had any big influencing news about the crypto currency but still it causes the prices to go higher which is due to the long wait for bull run in my opinion. No chance for bull trap since we didn't face any huge dump, these are all just corrections.

So what's the good news that can increase the price of bitcoin this time? In fact, I only know about the bad news that happened in hacking attacks at Binance, after the news spread there was no major correction that occurred and precisely the price of bitcoin was able to soar. So not always good and bad news will affect the price movements in the cryptocurrency market and this time it is a very good bull run and I don't see any bull traps this time because the trend will be very good this year.

Why are you confused? I think you can cash out in anytime especially if you can see your coins have increased and that will be the right time to sell the coins. You need to have a target price to sell so you can know the time to sell but if you don't have the target sell, then you are waiting for the unknown time, and you can not make a decision to sell right now or still to wait. That will make you confuse, and you will difficult to make a decision.

I think this is a bull run, we all witness the amazing rise of the bitcoin price in a very short period of time, and we all know that we are from the very huge dip. We need to make  trust and learn from the past few years, because bitcoin really didn't fall into zero value. We need to make a decision based on the past experience, i still believe that in crypto patience is really important.
bull run now already set after in only few days ago we see bitcoin price rise more than 50% from its lowest price.and if now we see price goes down it just correction in my opinion.we trust and we faith and we see market recovered now.

I won't go long in this post, keep it short and simple to make it easily understandable to any average trader here:

.. snip ..

Yes, it was stable around that price, but I'm sure you've heard about the the hash war between BCH and BSV in November 2018. That is the main reason why the price feel dramatically. Those supporters of the those dump bitcoins in preparation of huge war, we may call ourselves, collateral damage that time.

But if we will wait then we might miss the hype train specially if the price won't go that deep. Hard to see what will be the correct entry point though. I guess if you have funds and willing to buy then you might as well go for it instead of waiting for the best entry point.

Is this a correction or a sign of a bullish momentum?
There still a confusion to my mind because the catalyst may not be an impact for the market. However, a lot of expectations coming from amateur and pro traders that this year will be a bull market for cryptocurrency.
I want to believe that this is a correction that would result to further bullish momentum, as if I knew that this correction was going to go this dip, I personally cashed out some of my funds, although not all, which I have now used part of it to buy at the dip price again.

The remaining one left is still on hold for me to watch the price direction furthermore to know if it will still continue to go down so I can invest the remaining balance that I have left with me. This market is one that no expert can relay boast of predicting as everything I feel we do is guessing, so we need to have strategies in place for us to survive in the crypto industry.
