If you are talking about bitcoin, now it is definitely not worth selling. If you have the opportunity, hodl it. I am sure that after a while you will see how much it will rise in price and realize that it was not in vain.
It's always good to hold when it comes to bitcoin since it still have more room to grow, there are many people who are still not aware on its existence, however if we have gain already enough on it , we should not be too greedy and just set amount where it can possible achieve so no regrets whenever situation turns out different from what we expected.

The price is back corrected, if you want to sell you should sell before the correction occurs, now the price is back weakening to $11k
and it's a pity if you sell now. precisely at this time the opportunity for us to re-buy, prices will rise again, I'm sure of that.

I'm really confused, I want to know if it's time to cash in or to cash out, suffered lots of losses last year
It is a trap under any circumstances. And most people fall into it. The task of a good trader is to understand the idea of the main manipulators and act just like them. As you can see, since May, the price is growing significantly and rapidly, so now at any moment there may be a correction. Perhaps now is the time when it began (06/27/19)

definitely it is a good move from the cryptocurrency if we confused in this situation also then we don't have any other opportunity to get out from the depth of field so I think this is purely the Bull Run so don't confused with the any other things in your mind.

Yeah that's the point here, it's really worth to hold for now specially for longer terms holders. Somehow it cannot be put to control, since many have been thirsty of taking their profit.
As I've check the latest trend btc has declined few percentage because of dumps, and don't be surprised if we encountered that scenario. It's not a trap, it was just a normal and possible situation during high price bounce which definitely take dominance temporarily.

Looks like the correction could be here.

The price is no longer surging, and has dropped significantly today.

We could easily see a drop over the coming days to ~$6000 - the stock-to-flow price, before another upcoming bull run.

Far cry from 6000.

8900 at the most...

unfortunately, it was a bull at the time of posting but today i failed for the bull and i got burnt badly. i was so scared of missing out and mistakenly bought the market at 12,000k.   Now we are heading to 10k back. i did another wrong calculation again.

Bitcoin prices are currently falling again and I'm sure there are many traders who are stuck at high prices, they even choose to sell their assets at low prices, my advice is better to wait until the price of bitcoin returns to recover and don't sell at cheap prices.

Do not easily panic, what you experience is experienced by users and holders, in my opinion this is only a correction because of a sudden increase in the correction of natural things. What I am most confused about is that those who are confused about cash or cash out, in fact if you try to make an analysis of market information and trends, it will be easy for you to make a choice.

This is up to you! You are the person who knows exactly what is best for you. But if I were you, I would forget the results of the past. I will not let previous lose affect my current decision. I will sell when the uptrend comes and will buy again when the downtrend occurs.

It's important to think it over and over, once you make a decision, that is final and you should not regret whatever happens to your investment the moment you cash out. One cash out for profit, so any time you can do it and it's a good decision, you'll only think of "if", if you have that greediness inside.
Remember that we all are not perfect,  so we would not know the best price bitcoin can reach at a certain period, we just sell because we see some opportunity.

Yes, you are right. There is nothing we can do with the past, but we can do more things for the future. And if he can solve his confuse, I think he could try to start to manage his trading with learning more about trading so he can know when it's the time to take the profit and cash out. The past could be an important lesson for us because we can learn from the mistake we've made and we can know how to solve the problem if we are facing similar situations. No need to regret what we have done in the past, but we have a future that will be better than the past. I am sure about that.

after this huge spike no one can say where price will go , i think there are less chance of falling you said that you already made loss so its better to stay away from this type of spikes
There is a chance of falling but because there is a great support right now, there is a high chance to make bull run. Maybe, we just need to day is momentum for bitcoin to cross the 9k dollars resistance and make it bullish period again. I am not sure where the market will go but I assure that we need to take a chance for us to have more income.
Maybe if OP take action when he make this thread, he can feel the profit because price increased little by little until now. But if late maybe it is worth to try small amount of money to invest in BTC and it is better than miss a moment.

We can also speculate if he did take some actions, because if he hasn't then he could be regretting his decision not to listen to the majority of posters here. Bitcoin has broken the mental barrier now, even goes as high as $11,100, (last time I checked) so there is no bull trap whatsoever, but indeed we are now making a good run and maybe, just maybe will go to $15k at the end of the year.

Though you may have had a bad trade at one time it is possible to rectify that error and break even once the price reaches that.

Of course if someone bought bitcoin at 20k and now is hoping to sell it then it will take a long time to do so and hold through that period. However it can be done if the buying price was a bit lower. For those who have panic sold coins I would suggest them to stay from crypto or any other speculative market because stress and anxiety are normal things in these markets and if you cannot handle them then its better not to enter them.

Yeah that is the problem with many people. A business minded would prefer to go for investment when the market value is low. This is because it is not confirmed how high would the price of crypto go up in future and it might not go up very high. So it is very important to have a low cost of investment. You would never see the earliest investors complaining about the price because their initial price was less than dollars.
I think we are good at using opportunities. when the price is high, of course don't do buying, especially when the market is priced at $ 20k, we see to the left of the candle there is no other candle
