Bustabit bankroll currently shows on their website as: around 4800 BTC

Bustadice bankroll currently shows on their website as: around 2000 BTC

If memory serves correct there was a combined investment of over 11,000 BTC until just a few weeks ago. Why would such a large amount of BTC be divested in such a short amount time when even though the returns for bankroll investors might have been less of a share with recent changes but at least the BTC would have stayed safe with a reputable and trustworthy website?

It was regarding the update of off-site bankroll being removed. The btc that seemed be removed was the value of the off-site bankroll.

A massive 2081 BTC was just divested from the Bustabit bankroll.

The max profit on the site is now ~₿20 lower as a result.

I'm not saying the two events are related, but just as a reminder to all the bankroll investors:

Quote
Starting on December 15, 2020 the commission rate will be variable at bankroll / 10,000 BTC instead of a static 50%. The commission is only taken from net profits, so it can never exceed 100%.

As of right this very moment, the bankroll at both Bustabit/Bustadice are currently < BTC5000, meaning the commission change is currently more beneficial for investors than the previous policy.

...Also, Bitcoin just surpassed $20,000! Cheers!  Cool

Not just that it's one of the fairest casino I ever play with also it's funny to have conversation with other players while placing bets and it's funny when player have consecutive red streak lose or crash and they just blame Daniel for what happened.

ya.ya.yo!

That is indeed funny!
People claiming Daniel is rigging the system to check the hashes and makes them crash...
The user complaining is normally someone betting 200bits and claims Daniel is making him lose...

Bustabit is one of the fairest sites around!
Hmm just lose 200 bits and he was already blame the site rigged and scammed him? Even Wang guy who lose 297 bitcoins in bustabit just calm and didn't go blame anyone, didn't spamming on chat or other useless action like called bustabit rigged or something like that.

People are trying their best to find a way to work and get paid in illegal ways and they fail to realize instead of putting up that much work to make an app, why not use the same logic and talents and skills to build something entirely original and make money that way? I understand that it may look like this is much more profitable right away, but in the long run a legit method would make you a lot more money.
You just have to remember that you need comparatively less skills to scam people than you would need to develop and market an app, for example. So until a potential scamer is trained enough to write an app and market it successfully, it will probably take years. Ripping people off is obviously much easier and faster ...

Scams are unfortunately still a very lucrative business. Just look at how many people still fall for the whole "send me 1 bitcoin and I send you two back because I am generous" scams. A prominent one was the Twitter hack in July:

Quote
For their efforts, the scammers received over 400 payments in bitcoin, with a total value of $121,000 at Thursday’s exchange rate, according to an analysis of the Bitcoin blockchain performed by Elliptic, a cryptocurrency compliance firm.

I think the design of the site quite simple, so it can be advantage and disadvantage too. It`s easy to understand what`s going on and join the game as soon as possible, but some people can be scared of the simple interface and can think that it`s a quickly created site to steal people`s money and leave.

People are never afraid of simple interface. When a new gambling website opens, people are reluctant to join because they do not know if the website is legal at all. Bustabit is a reputed and well-known gambling site, with a good previous history. Simple interface is not a problem here, reputation is a fact.

Scammers will always get caught, and there is even a chance they could be jailed for what they do, does it really worth the risk for it? I would say instead of trying to scam people, use the same amount of work and skill into something legit and I can guarantee you that in the long run you are going to make a lot more money, and you would be safe from any trouble as well.

I have to agree with Lakai01, I prefer a website that has a simple and professional design.
I dont like Sites that have animations all over the place, might not run on all devices, slows down my computer/mobile device.

Bustabit has a nice design and runs smooth on all my devices, what can one want more?

same . my lappy and pc are not that high quality enough for a fancy gambling site , i always feel laggy and it frustrates me but i dont have a problem visiting basic sites such as bustadice and bustabit .

in the first place my only goal is to gamble and not to feel good by seing cool animations and nice graphics . its a big loss for a gambling site because we arent the only people that have a low end device

If you're a real gambler no matter how fancy or modern the animation or the UI you will stay look at how fair the gameplay is. I've been playing in bustabit for a quite time now and honestly i really like this game.

I also do not understand why this should be a disadvantage. The design of Bustadice and Bustabit is kept simple, but the designs absolutely do not look cheap or "cobbled together". Both sites have a clear design line, which would certainly not be the case with a scam site.

Personally, I even prefer such sites to heavily overloaded ones with lots of images and moving page elements. In my opinion, the latter scare off newcomers much more, as the pages immediately appear cluttered and are harder to understand.

I just noticed that the Bustabit leaderboards now have filters for the past 24 hours, 7 days, month, and all-time.  Grin

Love it! This makes it soOo much easier for investors to see when/why big spikes have occurred.

Can you please enlighten us how did the site design became both an advantage and a disadvantage to the casino? They have been known for their simple and sleek design and as you can see there also good numbers of players engaging with the casino. Although design is a way to attract players, nevertheless the value of executing fair games is better than just the design.

Note the domain they're using is bustabita.com not bustabit.com Would be a good idea to report that app to google, report the domain here:

and https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en
Is this the app you are talking about?

I don't even know what's the language of this app used.

I think if there was an App ever to come out (wouldnt see the point since the website works fine), I think Daniel or RHavar would announce it beforehand.
That definitely, yes. And most importantly, the app would also be advertised on the official bustabit page, which of course is not the case with this one either, which already points to a scam attempt here.
Presumably, the app simply wants to steal login data and thus to drain the balance from the account. A very simple and very effective attack, unfortunately ...

And the website itself works as a web app quite perfectly. When you are visiting the site on chrome on android, you get a message to add the website as app on the homescreen. If you do that, you'd receive an app like icon with bustabit logo that opens full screen directly to the Bustabit and there's no way to differentiate it from an actual app.
