I think if there was an App ever to come out (wouldnt see the point since the website works fine), I think Daniel or RHavar would announce it beforehand.
That definitely, yes. And most importantly, the app would also be advertised on the official bustabit page, which of course is not the case with this one either, which already points to a scam attempt here.
Presumably, the app simply wants to steal login data and thus to drain the balance from the account. A very simple and very effective attack, unfortunately ...

I didn't know that there were an bustabit mobile application? by the way that could mean that soon you will release an IOS version of your application? I want to get confirmation from the bustabit if this application is an official one or not.

There is not. DO NOT USE!!!

Good thing that I didn't used or even download the application. That's why I have a doubt I really know that there's no bustabit application either on IOS or in android.

Please dont even download this App!
I dont know if it has been done but I have reported both of those posts so they get removed asap before someone downloads them and tries to login!

Even having 2FA may not be good enough, if they put in something that will request 2fa and active at the same time, whatever you put in, they will put in as well, hell there were some automatic stuff that captured your 2fa at that moment and login from original website in a script as well, which required no person to be active at the time to hack into your account.

The best way would be to go into the original one and bookmark it, that way you do not have to go to the website from google each time, just click on the bookmark to go and it works out for you without ever having the risk of getting phished or however it is called. I personally bookmarked all the casinos and exchanges I use, that way there is no risk of me losing any money to these type of attempts.

@Dave1 TalkStar already wrote about it 10 days ago.
I think this is something new(basing on the link you shared). what Dave1 found was different from the one talkstar found. the first bustabit phishing site on Dave1 has two "i" and the second phishing site has "ù" on its name

Thank you for jumping the gun, yes I checked @TalkStar thread and it's very different, and what I found is two phishing sites.

Thanks Dave! I hope the bustabit will do something about this? maybe inform their players to email? or was that not good I think we are also responsible we should secure our accounts through 2FA I really find that feature for extra security.

This just shows how very important it is to activate 2FA and use different passwords for different sites...
If you have 2FA activated and use different passwords for every site the data they would phish from you would be useless wouldnt they?
They cant login, they cant access any other sites with the info they have... so useless infos!

So even if you werent on the site, use the security features that Bustabit offers:

ACTIVATE 2FA on Bustabit if you havent already. NOW

If this one will be reported directly to them for sure they can do something with it but if @Dave will just post it here then provably it will take time to the owner to some counteraction regarding to that phising site. And you don't need to worry on that site as long as you didn't log in your details and if so maybe change your password immediately together with setting up your 2FA to be safe from any hacks.

I took a look at the Bab clone for fun. 30 sec in, I left and I am 99% sure it's a scam : look at the chat, it's only bot/script from the site owner, no actual conversation and no phrases over 3-4 words -> pure script.

It means that they are faking having any user, sound very scammy to me.

Finally found the topic needed Smiley

Hey! Maybe someone from the Bustabit devs will read and check whether the new game is a bustabit clon or is it still another project, maybe with elements of this game?
Then there should be no complaints about this new topic with this game.  But so far all Communities have unanimously accused the OP of plagiarism.  And they cite Bustabit as a copy to copy.
At the moment it seems like this website is really a bad clone of bustabit (from design and look alone). Also, if you just check some threads and their offers, it's obvious that they are scammers. I hugely doubt scam company would buy script from bustabit and even if they bought it, then they would change the design and modify it.
Not only that but I have asked such question to RHavar because I have seen a lot of casinos, local ones that use their code and I don't like that fact. Btw I'll quote you my question and his answer:

As far as I know if someone wants to offer bustabit like game on their casino, they have to acquire license from you guys, am I correct?

People only need a license if they use bustabit's actual code. Bustabit made the old version opensource under a restrictive license that requires you to keep any changes you make also open source, and had an option to buy a license that allowed you to make changes without needing to make them also opensource. Many people however just use code and don't abide by the license, or use the actual bustabit code but try pretend they're not.

It was maybe a mistake, but bustabit never tried to control the game-concept (i.e. there's no patents or anything like that), just a copyright on the actual code that bustabit uses. Think something like lord-of-the-rings. If you want to write a book about elves and orcs and shit you don't need permission/license from Tolkien's estate. But if you want to actually use his words, you do.

According to Bustabit's License.txt, the site you mentioned is violating the terms of bustabit's open source license and should not be considered trustworthy.

@User7550 - Flagged you for the attempted extortion attempt.
Reported the message immediately to a moderator with the request for immediate deletion, hope it will be deleted quickly.

The call is already almost like the announcement of a headhunter bounty and should be stopped immediately. Even though I don't think that anyone will answer because I am sure devans is cautious enough to hode his personal information as good as possible.

And Google Authenticator is a good way to protect yourself, especially if idiots like you and the rest of the extortionists running around.
What shocks me more here is the fact that it seems to be something special when someone is using Google Authenticator. If anyone was wondering about this in 2013, that's fine, but especially where money, BTC and sensitive account data are involved, it is mandatory in my opinion.

Exactly!
Super happy to have such a tool and Im glad that it is also implemented into Bustabit.
There are alot of people that have alot of money in the site and that 2FA adds alot of security.

Ok, Google 2 FA is activated, surprise. Yes I care about my security.
