yes it is definitely a good investment but what I'm feeling is if you have the excess amount of savings only invest in it because we don't know about the hundred percent success rate of anything in the future so if you want to hold it for long term then you need to decide and after next investment

It seems like there would be no place for anonymous coins if we would reach the mass adoption, because governments would be strictly against such coins. So maybe it is not so perspective invest in coins like Monero at the moment.

yes holding monero will definitely profitable because it had huge expectation from lots of people so that if people trust something then it always had the bright future so that if you had some extra investment then you can do for future investment

Yeah monero is still popular alycoins which me and a lot of people holding that coins, I believe monero is best coins for long term hold when the bullrun monero will also uprise their price value.

Firstly, the guy above is not talking about the potential of Monero but the future of privacy coins in general which I believe he's right base on the stand of the governments and some exchange which was once decentralized are now implementing KYC(IDEX as an example).
Second, the pump in price will start with Bitcoin but if you watch and study the previous price of crypto market during last Bitcoin halving, you'll know that Monero was among the top coin that follow the steps of Bitcoin price.

Monero is certainly one of the best privacy coins, but I'm not sure about the future of privacy coins in general. The tendency with new projects is towards KYC, and governments have been getting increasingly concerned about money laundering and other criminal activity. Whilst privacy coins are certainly useful and important, I think they may suffer in a future regulatory crackdown, so I'm not convinced in a long-term hold for profit.

I don't think it's still a hot alts. now all the focus has been on TRON, Bitcoin SV, Litecoin, Ethereum. Investing in monero will now make you capital constrained and unable to invest in good alts.

You also have to understand that government is after privacy coins and that's one drawback for Monero though. And that is to me, one factor that I will stay away with this coins. Too much issues and problems might arise in the future is government just decided one day to focus on privacy coins and that could be the end, in my opinion.

Monero is a good altcoin and last year bullrun xmr surge high in value i think its not bad choice if you invest on xmr if you have the money but don't expect any quick profits because it might take longer to make profit since its a altcoin
