ETH is so popular with huge value, I was quite surprised to see the comments from the dev team which Happy Waters is talking about. They got away with such a huge scam, why does the founder still have a decent reputation in the media?

It's an wise decision. I also have same plan to invest on both and bitcoin and eth. Bitcoin is the leading coin on the crypto market and also eth is the best altcoin on the market. Not only eth but also all the top altcoin are tge best choice for investment. I had a few eth and i am trying to accumulate more. On the other no doubt btc is the best coin for investment. For now eth is the best and we can suggest it for investment. However eth has much potentiality from any other coin of the market. yeah the deployment of L2s is crazy it has reached the point where new L2 don't even have that much TVL anymore.

people already started forgetting MODE, ZkLink and so on LOL but the bigger L2 still hoarded good amount of TVL. if there's anything I'd bet from these L2 crazes I'd bet on ETH being the fee for these L2 to have more demand as some of these L2s getting bigger.
basically it's like owning a coin that's demanded heavily by multiple chain though L2 in essence is just a sub blockchain of ETH but still the fact that those L2 still incentivizes creation of defi in the ecosystem means the use case of ETH for either gas fee and staking coin hasn't diminished.

but be sure to have much patience since it seems ETH may take sometime for good recovery Grin

. but certainly still a good investment especially if we bought at low.

Smart steps you have certainly taken, meaning not only BTC can we buy by DCA but other potential coins can also be treated the same as those who have invested in BTC consistently.

For the price and future potential, the movement of ETH will also be in line with the movement of BTC, only the price difference may be a bit far. But, if i am no mistake, many big investors now fokus to buy more ETH as the most potential investment vehicle in the future after BTC.
